The Deep State’s Deception: “I Am Not What I Am.”

There has always been a “Deep State.” It is not a curse restricted to our times. The Deep State” portrays the devilish, cunning attitude of the Elite. They are elected, appointed, or bureaucratically placed. They evolve with an arrogance separating them from the population.

The Deep State should be serving, BUT they are only satisfied with being served!

  • History paints them as ones whose self-image is puffed up, whose self-knowledge is pseudo-intellectualism, and whose self-importance is delusional.
  • History documents their delusional belief that they are irreplaceable.
  • History indicts them as wrapped up in their own bubble-world, ignorant of reality and selfishly insensitive.
  • History documents that they will not escape history’s damning verdict.

With telling insight into the Deep State’s derangement is the 1603 political play’s intrigue. Iago states, “But I will wear my heart upon my sleeve…I am not what I am.”

These six words frame the Deep State’s evil. Iago only pretends to serve and care. He is motivated by his own selfish reasons. He refuses to reveal his true intentions. He confesses that revealing his true agenda would destroy his political career.

Othello is manipulated by the devious Iago into believing that his wife is guilty of adultery with Cassio, whom Othello promoted over Iago. The cunning of Iago results in Othello killing his wife and, after discovering her innocence, killing himself.

The entire storyline is how the Deep State selfishly connives, seeking personal advancement by destroying others.

Iago is one of Shakespeare’s most intriguing villains. His skillful manipulations and disastrous results are exposed. “Iago” is a historical presence in earthly civilizations. Even today, in our present Republic, “Iagos” seeks to rule or ruin!

As the mid-term elections near, voting citizens must look past the façade of the POLS, ignore the polished ads that contort reality, and reject the media lies.

Do not allow the bombardment of political messaging to exhaust your responsibility to look at the candidates and vote for those who will maintain the Constitutional foundation of our Republic.

Today’s political Elite are only a nauseous regurgitation of the villain Iago! They share the same evils: deviously presenting their “qualifications”; discontented and disgruntled with the governing Constitutional law; jealous; flinging false insinuations at their opponents; trusting blatant lies; publishing evil imaginations; planning evil intrigue; urging insurrection; enlisting others via manipulative words; televised conversations twisted to support evil insinuations; destroying others to make themselves look better.

Let those following Iago’s choice remember his final fate—stabbed by Othello, arrested, locked away, tortured, and put to death.

History defines Iago as a “quack.” Such a term was defined in the 1630’s as “one who talks much without wisdom, and, specifically, talks of his own power; an ignorant pretender to knowledge or skill; without knowledge, incompetent, self-confident; a pretentious cheat; one who pretends knowledge of any kind.”

This aptly defines many wearing “D” in the midterm elections. They personify the tragedy of Othello.

Today’s Democratic Party standard bearers refuse transparency. Like Iago, they are NOT what they appear to be! The politics of 1603 are embraced by the Democrats campaigning in 2026.

When asked to explain his destructive motives, Iago remains unrepentant and famously refuses to speak (“Demand me nothing. What you know, you know”). In today’s political speech, when confronted with their insidious insurrection, they smile, offering a “word salad” saying nothing!

Part One has history defining these political charlatans as “quacks” and those who voted for the quacks as “fools.” Part Two has history revealing how the Deep State viciously eats its own!

DO NOT BELIEVE THE POLITICAL QUACKS! Vote intelligently! Vote realistically! Vote Constitutionally!

The Deep State’s Deception: Trotsky…they eat their own…

Leon Trotsky

A long period of exile following Tsar Nicholas II’s crackdown on left-wing radicals ended when he returned in May 1917 to a Russia aflame with revolution. Joining the Bolsheviks a few months later, Trotsky worked closely with Lenin. Together, they prepared the overthrow of the ruling Provisional Government which kept the country in the disastrous world war.

Henceforth, throngs of people uttered their names together—“Lenin and Trotsky.” As a member of the Bolshevik-led Military Revolutionary Committee, Trotsky played a decisive role in the insurrection in Petrograd (formerly St. Petersburg), events he would later chronicle in his famed History of the Russian Revolution.

The following March, he negotiated the punitive Treaty of Brest-Litovsk forced on the Bolsheviks by Imperial Germany.  In the Russian Civil War (1918-1921), he organized and led the Red Army to an impressive victory over counterrevolutionary forces.

Stalin not only hunted Trotsky but anyone close to him from country to country. In Barcelona, in June 1937, his assassins abducted Trotsky’s former collaborator, Andrés Nin.

In Paris, Rudolf Klement, who had once worked as Trotsky’s secretary, sat down for breakfast was kidnapped and left his food on the table untouched.  A few weeks after he vanished, a body, missing its head and legs, washed up on the Seine.  It was not enough to just kill Klement; decapitation and dismemberment were required to incite extra terror.

Stalin’s agents also infiltrated the circle around Trotsky’s son, Leon Sedov who worked tirelessly for him in Paris. Mark Zborowski, Ukrainian-born and known to Trotsky’s supporters under the false name “Étienne,” soon worked his way into Sedov’s circle. Zborowski became Sedov’s personal assistant.

When Sedov checked himself into a private clinic in Paris run by Russians complaining of an appendicitis, he died there under mysterious circumstances in February 1938, five months before Klement disappeared. Their other son, Sergei Sedov, had remained in Russia after his parents’ expulsion. He vanished and, it is believed, was shot in October 1937.

A combination of torture, threats to family members, and promises of freedom, if confessions were given, allowed the travesties to occur.

When he read the infamous sentence uttered by Stalin’s Prosecutor-General, Andrey Vyshinsky—“I demand that these dogs gone mad should be shot—every one of them!”—Trotsky knew this was no idle threat.

CHILDREN…

Leon Trotsky had four children, all of whom died prematurely due to suicide, illness, or Stalin’s political purges: [1, 2]

  1. Zinaida Volkova (Daughter)
  • How she died: Suicide.
  • Details: Suffering from severe tuberculosis and depression—aggravated by the Soviet government revoking her citizenship and prohibiting her from reuniting with her family—she committed suicide in Berlin on January 5, 1933.
  1. Nina Nevelson (Daughter)
  • How she died: Natural causes (tuberculosis).
  • Details: She died of tuberculosis on June 28, 1928, in the Soviet Union, after her husband was deported following Trotsky’s exile.
  1. Lev Sedov (Son)
  • How he died: Post-operative complications (with suspicions of foul play/agent involvement).
  • Details: Trotsky’s oldest son and close political collaborator died in a Paris hospital on February 16, 1938, following an operation for an intestinal adhesion/appendicitis. While French authorities and medical records attributed the death to natural causes, Trotsky and his supporters suspected poisoning or sabotage by Stalin’s secret police (the NKVD).
  1. Sergei Sedov (Son)
  • How he died: Execution/shot in a labor camp.
  • Details: Unlike his brother Lev, Sergei remained in the Soviet Union and worked as an engineer, largely avoiding politics. He was arrested during Stalin’s Great Purges and shot to death in Moscow in 1937 (he was later posthumously rehabilitated by the Soviet Supreme Court in 1988)

The greatest irony…

In fact, the victory of the Red Army during the “Great Patriotic War” against the Axis states only solidified Stalin’s rule. For many, Marxism became irrevocably defined by and identified with Stalinism.
