President Trump on Saturday roasted the Somali Representative of Minnesota, who goes by the name Ilhan Omar, as America learns more about her background amid an ongoing federal criminal investigation.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, it was revealed in a recent court filing by the DC US Attorney’s Office that the Somali Congresswoman was referred to as “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar” in search warrants for her home and property executed last week. The warrants have not been fully executed, the filing stated.
It was then revealed by sources familiar with the investigation that “Ilhan Omar” is a fake alias used by Ilhan Nur Said Elmi to obtain citizenship in the year 2000, live in the country illegally, and run for office. A former Minnesota federal immigration judge said this could “call into question” every document she’s ever filled out with her fake name, Ilhan Omar.
US Attorney Jeanine Pirro also confirmed on Thursday, “Her real name is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi. You had it absolutely right.” She added, “Her sister is Sahra Nur Said Elmi, and her sister actually wrote a book and talked about the fact that Ilhan is her sister. So that is her name.”
Trump on Friday said Omar’s “whole life is a total scam” while speaking to reporters. Lindell TV and The Gateway Pundit correspondent Cara Castronuova asked the President, “How come Ilhan Omar doesn’t have a gag order like you did?”
WATCH:
Then he posted an image showing a mock incoming call screen on an iPhone, featuring a picture of Ilhan without her head covering and an AI-generated balding head.
The caller ID reads, “Scam likely” from Mogadishu, Somalia.
Trump posted the image on Truth Social with no comment:
Omar has denied using a fictitious name and even went on to vote in the 2026 election on Friday.
Still, Trump has been roasting her at recent rallies on Thursday in Iowa and Friday in Florida, calling for her resignation from Congress, noting that she “must immediately have to resign from Congress.”
Thanks to President Trump, the United States has the most secure border in our nation’s history.
We still have millions of illegal aliens here due to careless border policies of the past, especially during the Biden years. It is affecting numerous communities across the country, including the Amish.
A courageous Amish woman used a weed whacker to fend off an illegal alien who allegedly attempted to kidnap her with a knife. According to the DHS and local news sources, she was outside working in the yard when this occurred.
26-year-old Junior Jose Davila-Moran, who is an illegal alien living in New Jersey, attempted to kidnap a 23-year-old Amish woman in Sadsbury Township, Lancaster County, in Pennsylvania on October 14th.
He had a pair of handcuffs and a knife and allegedly told her to put on the handcuffs. Instead, the woman screamed, revved up the weed whacker and went toward him. Davila-Moran ran away and went behind the woman’s barn, disappearing from the township.
He was eventually arrested at his home in New Jersey.
He is facing multiple charges including kidnapping.
A brave Amish woman used a weed whacker to scare off an illegal migrant who allegedly tried to kidnap her at knifepoint while she was doing yard work in Pennsylvania, according to local reports and the DHS.
Junior Jose Davila-Moran, 26, allegedly approached the 23-year-old woman from behind with a large knife and black handcuffs while she was weed whacking in her front yard in Lancaster County on Oct. 14., Local 12 News reported.
The knife-wielding migrant allegedly tried to handcuff the woman and claimed that everything would be okay if she complied.
According to the DHS, he is an illegal alien from Guatemala and came into the US illegally when he was a minor in 2018. ICE currently has a detainer lodged against him.

Footage released by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement shows Long Beach resident Ricardo Gonzalez tackling a federal officer during an operation last week, debunking the leftist narrative that he was an unprovoked victim of agents who broke his arm while he was simply riding an e-bike.
The initial clips that circulated widely captured Gonzalez pinned face-down in a gutter, screaming that his arm was broken and that he was a U.S. citizen.
Image used by the media vs reality: https://t.co/NXoniL1akU
Those videos, shared by groups such as StopICE.net and amplified by local officials, prompted protests outside Long Beach City Hall, calls for investigations, and a GoFundMe launched by his daughter Leslie Gonzalez that has raised nearly $29,000 toward a $30,000 goal for “medical bills and recovery.”
In the fundraiser, she wrote that her father “was struck by an unmarked vehicle of federal agents while riding his E-Bike,” was tased twice, pinned to the ground, and taken to the hospital.
Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson identified Gonzalez as a former city employee and father, told the Los Angeles Times that he had spoken with him, and filed a complaint with the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General.
Rep. Robert Garcia and other California lawmakers, including Sens. Adam Schiff and Alex Padilla and Rep. Nanette Barragán, sent a letter demanding a review of the use of force, according to a KTLA report.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal posted the partial video earlier this week, writing, “Another U.S. citizen was assaulted and injured by ICE. This time in Long Beach, California. Congress must refuse to fund this lawlessness and hold Trump’s rogue militia accountable.”

Statements from the Department of Homeland Security and ICE described the incident as unfolding very differently.
Agents were conducting a targeted enforcement operation to arrest an at-large criminal illegal alien when “anti-ICE agitators attempted to impede operations, threaten officers, and damage government vehicles.”
Officials said Gonzalez was arrested after he smashed the mirror of a government vehicle, that resisting arrest can result in injury, and that officers used the minimum force necessary.
They explicitly denied that agents struck him with a vehicle and referred to him as a “rioter.”
On Thursday, ICE responded directly to Jayapal’s post with additional video footage.

The clip shows the physical struggle as Gonzalez engages the officer.
Long Beach police said they responded after ICE requested assistance for vehicle vandalism and a person needing medical aid.
Officers found Gonzalez handcuffed and bleeding, removed the restraints at a nearby fire station, and turned him over for medical transport.
Assaulting or impeding a federal officer is a federal crime.
The GoFundMe fundraiser remains active, despite the video evidence that he lied about the encounter.
Michigan’s radical Muslim Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed snapped at Fox News host Bret Baier when he brought up his familial ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Abdul El-Sayed denies he has familial ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, calling the accusations “racist and untrue.”
Social media posts authored by Abdul El-Sayed’s sister, Eman Abdelhad, reveal familial ties and support for the Muslim Brotherhood.
The Muslim Brotherhood is a designated terrorist organization.
Bret Baier confronted Abdul El-Sayed about his ties to the designated terrorist organization.
“No, no, no, no! Let me stop you there!” El-Sayed said to Bret Baier.
“I’m not interested! I’m not interested in a 2012 statement, in a letter…you’re gonna pull that out of context! You’re gonna ask questions about my allegiance! Don’t be Rogers’ campaign. Be a journalist!” El-Sayed said.
WATCH:
Abdul El-Sayed is lying about his familial ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. He is a national security threat.
DHS Chief Markwayne Mullin sounded the alarm earlier this week and slammed El-Sayed for his ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Mullin went off on the ‘Prophet’ Muhammad and issued a warning about “extreme Islam” as he launched an attack on Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed.
“The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization. To say they are non-existent anymore doesn’t even resonate with those of us that are in law enforcement…” Mullin said.
“The Muslim Brotherhood is still an organization that wants to harm the United States. They have made that very clear and when they have someone that is associated with it, you gotta question their conviction…” Mullin said.
Mullin said Islam permits Muslims to lie.
“This is affiliated to the Prophet Muhammad. When it’s permissible to lie, it says there’s three reasons that it’s permissible,” Mullin said.
“It’s dangerous to the world and it’s dangerous to the United States,” Mullin said.
A 70-year-old Florida-licensed attorney is sitting in federal custody without bond after Homeland Security Investigations agents say she walked into a Mississippi gun store and openly discussed her plan to murder Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.
Lisa C. White, admitted to the Florida Bar in October 1995 and previously practicing in Broward County, now lives in Diamondhead, Mississippi. On September 23 she entered High Caliber Guns in Long Beach around 11:30 a.m. and told employees, “I need a gun.”
She identified herself as a protester and activist who wanted a firearm and pepper spray for “protection” at a demonstration because she believed “ICE agents are becoming crazy and wild.”
According to the federal criminal complaint filed by HSI Special Agent John Griggs (detailed in the Biloxi Sun Herald and other reporting), the conversation quickly turned explicit.
White allegedly stated she wanted the gun to kill ICE agents. She gestured toward her torso and asked whether the firearms could penetrate an agent’s body armor. When told they might not, she said she would simply “hit them in the head, shoulder, arm or leg.”
A store employee warned her that pointing a firearm at a federal officer would likely get her killed. White allegedly replied, “If I have to die, I have to die,” while claiming ICE agents were “shooting people in the back” and “killing innocent protesters.”
The store declined the sale and suggested she return later. White then went to a nearby range, rented and fired two 9mm pistols, bought ammunition, claimed to be a U.S. Army veteran and “expert shooter,” and reportedly expressed interest in returning for an AR-15.
Vigilant employees reported the encounter to the ATF, which notified HSI. Agents interviewed witnesses and arrested White the next day in Long Beach.
She is being held without bond on a federal criminal complaint charging her with threatening a federal law enforcement officer, specifically, influencing, impeding, or retaliating against a federal official by threat.
She pleaded not guilty (around October 15) and faces a trial date of November 16. If convicted she could face up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and supervised release.
Remarkably, White remains in good standing with the Florida Bar with no listed disciplinary history.
This case is part of a documented and massive surge in violence and threats against ICE officers carrying out the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement.
ICE has reported more than a 1,600% increase in assaults, a 3,300% increase in vehicle attacks, and an 8,000% increase in death threats against its agents.
The Gateway Pundit has repeatedly covered this dangerous escalation, fueled by radical activist rhetoric and sanctuary politicians who have spent years demonizing the men and women enforcing federal law.

In Part One of this three-part series, reporting by J.M. Phelps detailed how Staff Sgt. Lance Castle was systematically targeted after filing a religious objection to the COVID-19 shot mandate.
This pattern of reprisal, documented repeatedly by Phelps, persisted even after Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin formally rescinded the mandate on Jan. 10, 2023, and directed the armed services to reverse punitive measures taken solely over shot refusal.
Yet by that same month, Castle had already been classified as an “insider threat.” His squadron commander, Lt. Col. Enrique Vazquez, did not recommend him for promotion to technical sergeant. That non-recommendation blocked him from advancing to E-6.
Less than two weeks later, his flight commander, Capt. Liam Lawrence, claimed a prior supervisor, TSgt Benjamin Lipp, believed Castle had been “potentially radicalized by an anti-US government group in the wake of his refusal to take the COVID vaccine” and was a threat to the base.
Squadron members were instructed by Lawrence “not to meet with him one-on-one, to avoid all interactions with him, and under no circumstances to go to his home.” This is a clear example of ostracism. Vazquez added, “I believe SSgt Castle exhibits almost every indicator of an insider threat and should not have access to any sensitive materials or areas.”
To make matters even more egregious, Castle was also given a security termination statement with guidelines outlining the Espionage Act and other criminal statutes (AF IMT 2587) that state, “The penalties prescribed for violations of these statutes through willful acts or gross negligence vary according to the statute the circumstances and the information involved. They range in severity from a fine of not more than $2,500 to life imprisonment or death. Your signature on this form is your acknowledgment that you have been informed of the criminal statutes applicable to espionage and the punishments provided for violation of these statutes.”
Castle refused to sign this form, which marked the beginning of his decision not to sign any document that he deemed deceitful from his chain of command.
In an interview with Castle’s military attorney, Capt. Leeza Tirado, Lipp said he “did not have concern” that Castle was an insider threat.
Image: Insider Threat Concern, Courtesy of Lance Castle
He described Castle as frustrated with the shot mandate and added, “There was nothing further that I experienced that made me think he was an insider threat.” Lawrence had used Lipp’s name in the insider-threat paperwork, and Vazquez signed off on it.
During Castle’s second trial, Lipp would alsoconfirm under oath that he never requested a no-contact order against Castle. A later order from the incoming group commander, Col. Stuart Churchill, who took over for Col. Roche, would place the no-contact order on multiple people who had direct involvement with the falsified paperwork on Castle that led to his first trial.
The paperwork that labeled him a threat and cut him off from his squadron did not match what his former supervisor actually said under oath.
Two weeks later, Vazquez imposed an Article 15 on Castle for failure to go and disrespect toward Master Sgt. Michael Carey. According to evidence presented by Castle, Carey had authorized his appointments to the chaplain that week yet later submitted documentation alleging his absence from his workplace. It appears that MSgt Carey was building a false paper trail against Castle to later use against him.
Image: Alleged Violation of UCMJ, Courtesy of Lance Castle
A separate charge of disrespect stemmed from an allegation that Castle failed to assume parade rest while receiving paperwork related to a text message in which he had referred to Carey as “silly.” Castle maintains that he did in fact assume the required position. He was issued yet another Letter of Reprimand (LOR) for this occurrence. It was at this moment that he realized the critical importance of now needing to secretly record every word of all subsequent interactions with his chain of command.
The disrespect allegation would also include in that Castle was talking over Carey. According to Castle, this too was fictitious.
Castle would later be ordered by the successor group commander, Churchill, to no longer be able to audio record any encounter without his permission. Castle viewed this as a strategic move by Churchill to block spontaneous encounters with anyone in his chain of command, whether in the squadron or elsewhere on base.
The new First Sergeant, MSgt Matthew Calhoun, later told him that if he was caught audio recording at any moment, he could be arrested. Castle was also subject to mandatory frisks by security forces with OSI in attendance, including Special Agent Andrew Brown and OSI Commander Special Agent Christopher Riccio, before he could be allowed on base. Churchill was the one behind the searches.
Castle opted for a personal appearance with Vazquez regarding why Article 15 punishments should not be imposed. Castle would secretly fully record the entire encounter. From that meeting, Castle was later charged by Vazquez with “disrespect to a superior commissioned officer.”The charge would claim he called Vazquez a “domestic threat.” Castle submitted a written rebuttal to all allegations in the Article 15, and Vazquez denied the rebuttal. He then submitted an appeal to the group commander, Col. Barry Roche, who also denied it.
Castle now understood the full measure of his opposition. These commanders operated beyond reason, actions governed by whim rather than regulation.
On February 13, 2023, Vazquez reduced him to Senior Airman, after a decade as an NCO, and forfeited $3,038. The insider-threat form still called him a Staff Sergeant. The charge sheet called him a Senior Airman.
During Castle’s trial, Vazquez claimed that Castle “was moved under a different supervisor” because of his stated safety concerns against his supervisor MSgt. Carey.
On March 31, 2023, around noon, he handed Castle, in person, orders sending him back to the same office. The flight commander and first sergeant never made the notification, and Carey himself opened his testimony by stating he was still Castle’s supervisor.
The judge asked whether anyone told Castle that Carey had been removed. Vazquez said, “He didn’t know… That’s something we missed; I missed.”
Days later, Vazquez suspended Castle’s security clearance and access to classified information, writing that he “exhibits almost every indicator of an insider threat.” The same contested narrative that had already produced LORs, an E-6 non-recommendation for promotion, and an Article 15 that resulted in his first rank reduction was now inside the formal security system.
Eleven days after that, Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall issued a directive ordering commanders to rescind the mandate guidance and to remove or redact the COVID verbiage from anyone’s files. The insider-threat form still tied the “radicalized toward an anti-U.S. government group” label to the shot. They kept the insider-threat and radicalization labels and left the words “COVID-19” on the document itself. That documentation led to false allegations of “potential active shooter,” “targeting members,” and multiple OSI investigations, including one involving Special Agent Erin Cunningham.
By March 2023, Castle no longer trusted his chain of command or the Inspector General system. In a May 2023 Inspector General complaint that he filed on Vazquez, the IG acknowledged receipt. When Castle checked on its status after his trial in October 2023, they would now tell him that it was lost with the transition to a new system and turnover.
In October 2026, Castle filed yet another formal complaint against Vazquez. It was dismissed and closed without investigation by Lt. Col. Kelly Person due to her citing that he failed to submit the complaint within the year of the alleged misconduct, even though the IG had lost his initial complaint three years prior. Undeterred, Castle bypassed the chain of command entirely, sending a direct email to USAF Inspector General Lt. Gen. David B. Lyons detailing his concerns over Person’s summary dismissal. That complaint remains open and unresolved as of this writing.
Although he had written that he felt unsafe around Carey, command still required Castle to be face-to-face with him. Text messages between Carey and Lawrence revealed that they both plotted for Castle to receive initial feedback from Carey. Lawrence told Carey in text that he hoped Castle wouldn’t attend it so that he could issue him more paperwork.
They would also track Castle’s movements on base, send photographs of his truck, and recommend a BOLO (Be on the Lookout) so he could soon be arrested with the paper trail that they built on him for months.
On multiple occasions when he was expected for meetings, leadership arranged for armed personnel to stand by. On April 3, 2023, two separate memos claimed he was “targeting members” and labeled him a “potential active shooter.”
One memo said there was “a clear motive in the situation that could end fatal for some individuals that work in building 620.” This designation echoed the harrowing experiencesof Army 1LT Mark Bashaw from the prior year, illustrating a pattern of military personnel being labeled as insider threats, and threatened with imprisonment, due to their shot-related decisions.
Castle rejected the allegations, telling The Gateway Pundit, “This is literally all fictitious, falsified. None of that is even accurate. Not even close.”
By early April 2023, the decision to take Castle into pretrial confinement was already being coordinated. Between April 3 and 7, a multi-agency discussion involved Mental Health, the Office of Special Investigations, Security Forces, and legal. Vazquez admitted he coordinated with both OSI and Security Forces. He first considered arresting Castle at his residence, then chose the gate. Castle said he was relieved when he was notified of a Team Treatment Meeting scheduled for April 10. “I was more than happy to go, because I would finally be heard by everyone in the room.”
Defense counsel later argued the TTM was used under false pretenses to get him on base for the arrest. On April 10, he was arrested at the gate of Cannon Air Force Base while en route to that meeting.
“No one could tell me what I was being arrested for,” he said. “It was a total ambush.” The charge sheet preferred by Vazquez alleged desertion “with intent to remain away therefrom permanently.”
Castle was apprehended while traveling to a scheduled military healthcare appointment on base. A military judge later ordered his release, noting there was no evidence he was attempting to flee.
Castle spent 66 days in pretrial confinement, from April 10 to June 14, 2023. In his 72-hour confinement memo, Vazquez claimed Castle had struck several Security Forces members and broken one of their noses. That claim became a central reason the Pretrial Confinement Review Officer kept him locked up, including through the birth of his first son.
Anticipating the birth in early June, Castle requested a limited release, even with an escort, so he could be there. His Area Defense Counsel raised the request with Vazquez on May 25. Vazquez said no. He cited the nature of the charges, claimed Castle was a high risk to flee, and then admitted he “felt bad” that Castle would likely miss the birth.
Nine days later, when asked to confirm those reasons by email, Vazquez’s complete response was three words: “That is correct.”
The night of the arrest, about ten to eleven hours later, seven Security Forces members forced him into a restraint chair, cut his uniform and the rest of his clothing off with trauma shears, and conducted a scars, marks, and cavity search. His prescribed blood pressure medication was not ordered, forcing him to go without it for more than 30 days.
The next morning, April 11, the extraction team pulled him from his cell under the guise of noncompliance. Testimony established the team was inexperienced, received no recent refresher training, had no knowledge of the scheduled TTM, and was briefed for only a couple of minutes before entry. No mental health professional or chaplain was involved in any de-escalation attempt.
Group-chat messages from confinement staff later obtained by the defense show they coordinated the extraction to “stun him into compliance.” This forced cell extraction, conducted after falsified charges and later challenged by the defense as an unlawful use of force, left Castle with serious injuries including a torn medial collateral ligament (MCL) and torn rotator cuff that required multiple surgeries less than six months later. They required multiple surgeries in February and April 2024. MRIs confirmed the injuries.
On the morning of the cell extraction, medics documented a laceration on his nose, left-shoulder pain, and shackles around his ankles tight enough that they felt compelled to ask staff to loosen them.
Image: Written Statement from Medic, Courtesy of Lance Castle
Reacting to the viral incident surrounding this story, Castle’s former wing commander of Kirtland AFB, Retired Col Rob Maness once stated in a public interview: “that squadron commander needs to be held accountable for misusing and abusing the criminal justice system in the Armed Forces, and everybody involved in that process that you just saw, all the way up the chain of command needs to be investigated to find out why this young American, simply because he did what we train our troops to do, refuse unlawful orders, was treated in this manner. It’s despicable.”
In addition, Army Lt Gen Michael Flynn, who previously served as the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and U.S. National Security Advisor (during the first Trump administration) wrote in an X post: “If there isn’t more to this other than refusing a deadly vaccine, every single person from the top of the chain of command to those involved in this disastrous action directed against a fellow airman must be held accountable. The loss of trust in our armed forces is showing a weariness in the ranks and the inability of our armed forces to accomplish their directed missions is unacceptable.” He continued with, “In years of running interrogation operations against the worst of our enemies, we never treated anyone like this U.S. Air Force Senior Airman was treated. Totally unacceptable behavior top to bottom.”
Interestingly, at trial, the government’s own alleged victim from the incident undercut the confinement justification. Senior Airman Deadrick D. Kelly, testifying as a civilian, said the opposite of what Vazquez had written: “He didn’t hit me.” He explained the injury was “my own fault.” The same commander who preferred the charges had authored the 72-hour memo that relied on injury claims the government’s witness later denied under oath.
When Judge Vicki Marcus pressed Lt. Col. Vazquez about why he still preferred a court-martial specification for the same alleged disrespect after he had already imposed Non-Judicial Punishment for it, Vazquez could not explain his logic. Furthermore, Vazquez admitted under oath that the only threat Castle ever made against him was that he was going to go to the IG and Equal Opportunity office.
The pattern was consistent: negative documentation was added when convenient, altered or removed when it became inconvenient, and then recycled as the basis for more serious charges. Charge I, desertion, was thrown out under Rules for Court-Martial 917 for no evidence. Charge II, the claim that Castle called Vazquez a “domestic threat,” also fell.
Notably, it was only after learning that Castle had recorded their prior meeting that Vazquez testified under oath that Castle never referred to him as a domestic threat.
The machinery of reprisal, once set in motion, proved relentless, operating with a chilling efficiency that outlasted the COVID-19 mandates, overrode sworn testimony, and ultimately failed only when forced into the light of a public courtroom.
On September 13, 2023, Lt. Col. Vicki Marcus found him not guilty of every specification that remained, ruling that the government failed to prove a single charge from that arrest. Yet, the Department of the Air Force treated this judicial exoneration as if it had never happened.
Next week, Part Three will examine the current status of Staff Sergeant Lance Castle’s ongoing legal and professional battles.

Independent journalist Brandi Kruse is removed from Thorns soccer game on Friday night for wearing XX-XY shirt.
As reported earlier… Independent journalist Brandi Kruse says she was physically removed from a Portland Thorns female professional soccer game simply for wearing a shirt supporting sex-based protections in women’s athletics.
Kruse, host of the independent political commentary program unDivided, was escorted out of Providence Park in Portland, Oregon, on Friday night, October 23, during a National Women’s Soccer League match between the Portland Thorns FC and North Carolina Courage.
Her offense was wearing a T-shirt from XX-XY Athletics, a sportswear company founded by former Levi’s executive Jennifer Sey that advocates preserving female athletic categories based on biological sex.
Kruse said she and other supporters peacefully wore their shirts before being confronted and assaulted by opposing fans.
Then, according to her account, stadium security ultimately removed her group rather than the individuals she accused of attacking them.
On Saturday morning, FOX News reporter Jackson Thompson reported that the US Department of Justice is reviewing Brandi’s forceful removal from the Thorn’s game for wearing an XX-XY shirt.
The shirt is a symbol for Americans who refuse to accept biological male athletes into female sports.
For the record, the International Olympic Committee also will NOT allow biological males to compete against women.
It’s common sense.
Jackson Thompson reported on X:
“The Justice Department is aware of these reports and will review the matter thoroughly. Where the facts and the law warrant action, the Department will not hesitate to act.”
A DOJ spokesperson also told me, “Based on what is known so far, the conduct described appears to raise viewpoint discrimination and First Amendment questions rather than sex discrimination. The Department is reviewing it.”

Legendary Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz offered some commentary on the Ilhan Omar situation during a recent appearance on Newsmax. He suggested that the situation is far worse than Omar is letting on and seems to think that deportation is a very real possibility.
Derhowitz also uses his legal expertise to explain how the statute of limitations may not work in Omar’s defense because it could be classified as an ongoing conspiracy.
He even goes so far as to predict that she will resign from Congress amid the probe.
Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz predicted on Newsmax on Friday that Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., will resign from Congress. He said mounting questions about her identity and immigration history could cost her citizenship if they are proved.
“I think she will resign from Congress,” Dershowitz said on “The Record With Greta Van Susteren.”
“I don’t think that she’s going to want to see congressional investigations.”
Omar has not been charged with a crime and has denied wrongdoing.
Dershowitz said the questions surrounding Omar could be settled through a DNA test and records showing the birth date she has used over the years. He acknowledged that she may lack a birth certificate because of the turmoil in her native Somalia.
He argued that the key issue is Omar’s date of birth, alleging that she and her father might have misrepresented her age to make her eligible for citizenship through him. Dershowitz claimed she would not have qualified had she been over 18.
“If that’s true, she’s done,” he said. “Her naturalization can be undone. She can be deported. She can be forced to leave Congress.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says its Houston teams are now averaging about 100 arrests of illegal aliens per day.
The official ICE account posted on Friday, “We are arresting about 100 illegal aliens a day in Houston, Texas. Past Administrations failed you, the American people. President Trump will not.”
The post included video from a NewsNation report as they embedded with ICE teams in the Houston area.

NewsNation reported the team they embedded with brought four of five targets into custody before 11 a.m.
One arrest involved a man from El Salvador who had three prior DWI arrests, the most recent in 2024, and a final order of removal after missing a court date.
Agents conducted surveillance to establish his pattern of life and detained him before he entered a vehicle, which ICE described as a safer approach.
A second arrest, carried out with a county constable, targeted a man from Mexico with a 2013 charge of enticing a minor, a prior DWI, and driving-without-a-license cases. He also had a removal order after missing court.
Bret Bradford, director of ICE’s Houston Enforcement and Removal Operations field office, told NewsNation the agency prioritizes the “worst of the worst” but will not limit enforcement to those with criminal records.
“If you’re in this country illegally, there’s a consequence,” Bradford said. He added that current rhetoric has “emboldened these individuals to run, to flee, to evade arrest,” and he encouraged people eligible for voluntary departure to use the $3,000 cash incentive rather than wait for an arrest.
Houston’s ICE field office has posted large numbers in earlier operations as well.
In a 10-day sweep last October, agents reported 1,505 arrests, including gang members, aggravated felons, a convicted murderer, and sexual predators.
ICE has posted additional Houston operation footage on social media, including a traffic effort that resulted in more than 120 arrests on a single day.

A horrifying scene unfolded in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday when a man jumped from a highway overpass following an hours-long standoff with police and SWAT officers, bringing a massive law enforcement operation to a tragic end.
The incident occurred on October 22 near the Interstate 20 and Interstate 45 interchange in southern Dallas County, where police negotiators spent hours attempting to persuade the man to move away from the edge of the elevated roadway.
Despite their efforts, the encounter ended in tragedy. The man jumped from the bridge and was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene, according to Dallas News.
Video circulating on social media appears to capture the disturbing final moments of the standoff, showing a man positioned along the edge of the overpass as officers and emergency vehicles remain nearby.
The footage has sparked emotional reactions online, with some commenters questioning whether authorities could have done more to prevent the tragedy, while others defended the officers who reportedly spent hours attempting to save the man’s life.
According to FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth, police responded to the scene Thursday morning after receiving a report involving an individual on the overpass.
Officers arrived near the eastbound LBJ Freeway ramp and northbound Julius Schepps Freeway around 9:40 a.m.
Images captured by FOX 4’s SKY 4 helicopter showed law enforcement personnel attempting to communicate with the man, while SWAT vehicles and ambulances were stationed nearby.
Authorities shut down portions of both I-20 and I-45 as the emergency response unfolded, bringing traffic to a standstill along one of the region’s busiest transportation corridors.
According to NewsRadio 1080 KRLD, the individual was positioned near a silver-colored sedan on the bridge while officers attempted to establish communication.
The standoff continued for several hours as police worked to resolve the situation peacefully.
But the prolonged negotiations ended with the man’s death.
Dallas police subsequently confirmed that the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
