Warren Smith, a high school teacher and YouTuber renowned for his channel dedicated to critical thinking has been fired.

Smith believes his dismissal is tied to his YouTube content, specifically a viral video that Elon Musk retweeted. The video showcases Smith’s commitment to critical thinking in the face of baseless accusations against “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling.

Smith’s YouTube channel, called Secret Scholar Society, which promotes critical thinking and challenges conventional narratives, has evidently ruffled some feathers at his institution.

The incident in question revolves around a classroom discussion earlier this year, during which Smith gently challenged a student who accused J.K. Rowling of being “bigoted.”

Smith’s methodical approach encouraged the student to define what constitutes a bigoted opinion without imposing his own judgments, effectively teaching the student how to think, not what to think.

“Do you still like [J.K. Rowling’s] work, despite her bigoted opinions?” the students asked.

Smith responded, “So, let’s get specific though. Let’s define bigoted opinions. What opinions are bigoted? We’re going to treat this as a thought experiment. I’m not going to say what’s right or wrong or which way to think. The whole point is to learn how to think – not what to think.”

Smith broke down the accusation, step by step, questioning the basis and validity of labeling Rowling’s views as transphobic. By the end of the discussion, it appeared the student had completely changed his stance.

Elon Musk, recognizing the value of such an educational approach, shared the video with his millions of followers, commending the need for critical thinking skills among the youth.

Musk wrote, “Critical thinking should be the first thing taught to kids.” The post was viewed 33 million times.

However, three months after the video went viral, Smith found himself fired from his job.

“Seven days ago, I was fired from my school after four years of teaching. I recorded this the following day to share my perspective – honestly & in good faith – to move forward and put this experience behind me. I have no desire to cause complications or bring unwanted attention to the school, so I will not divulge anything beyond that,” Smith wrote on X.

“It is important to me to be able to speak truthfully and honestly about one of the most challenging periods in the story of my life, in order to move onto a new chapter. I hope all can respect one another’s privacy, freedom of speech, & treat each other with dignity – especially during such times,” he added.

In a heartfelt video statement, Smith detailed his abrupt termination, expressing his shock and dismay at how swiftly and decisively it was executed.

“It happened so quick. It happened like five minutes. There was really no conversation, so they clearly knew what they wanted to do,” he said.

He also lamented the loss of his digital assets, including a book he had been writing for two years, as well as personal and financial information stored on his school computer.

“I have devoted four years of my life to this school, and yesterday, it was like being a character in a video game and just being deleted,” he said.

His removal was allegedly due to a breach of trust—yet Smith asserts that he has never once divulged confidential information or overstepped any legal boundaries set by the school.

“The reason was, ‘We don’t trust you not to divulge information online or upload online.’ Well, I’ve never divulged anything. Dave Rubin, Dr. Drew, hours of podcasts, and not once did I ever cross any of the parameters that you laid out, that your lawyers laid out,” said Smith.

However, Smith speculated that his termination might have been precipitated by the attention his video received after Musk’s retweet.

“I understand if you disagree with me voicing opinions on YouTube or feeling like It’s easier just to get rid of that; I understand to get rid of a teacher like that. And I accept that,” said Smith.

As more teachers face repercussions for fostering critical thinking and open dialogue, the future of education looks increasingly bleak. In today’s climate, encouraging people to think for themselves may just be the most radical act of all.

A court in Germany has approved the intelligence monitoring of the Alternative for Germany (AFD) political party on the grounds that it poses a “threat to democracy.”

As the party’s popularity continues to rise as Germans rise up against the globalist regime that rules them, particulary over the issue of mass immigration, the government has now found an excuse to monitor them by classifying them as an extremist organization.

Bloomberg reports:

The AfD filed a legal challenge to a decision by the BfV agency to classify the party, as well as its youth organization and a now-dissolved radical group within it known as the “Wing,” as suspected extremist cases.

The extremist designation means that the authorities are allowed to deploy measures like tapping phones or using informants to monitor potential illegal activity. While the court didn’t allow the AfD to appeal, the party said it will challenge that at the Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig.

The party were also denied the chance to appeal the ruling, but will be able to appeal at a federal court.

“It is incomprehensible that the panel of judges did not allow the appeal, even though we spent days debating complex legal issues,” said Roman Reusch, a member of the AfD leadership committee. “We will of course appeal to the next instance.”

Meanwhile, Chancellor Olaf Scholz celebrated the ruling, saying it proves that Germany has a “resilient democracy” and that the state protects it “against threats from within.”

Such moves are inevitably an attempt to try and shut down the party altogether, a proposal which the German government has made no secret of its intention to pursue.

Back in January, lawmakers from the ruling Social Democratic Party (SPD) debated the idea of banning it altogether, making a mockery of their supposed support for democracy.

“Calls for the AfD to be banned are completely absurd and expose the anti-democratic attitude of those making these demands,” said Alice Weidel, co-leader of the party, said at the time.

“The repeated calls for a ban show that the other parties have long since run out of substantive arguments against our political proposals.”

Porn star Stormy Daniels wore a bulletproof vest to get to court to deliver salacious allegations about Donald Trump because she feared what “some nut might do to her,” according to her attorney.

Daniels, 45, was “paralyzed with fear” before her two days testifying to her alleged fling with Trump that is at the heart of his criminal hush money trial, her attorney, Clark Brewster, told CNN late Monday.

“She was concerned about the security coming in to New York,” Brewster told CNN on Monday.

“She wore a bulletproof vest every day until she got to the courthouse,” he said, although photographs of her outside court did not show any obvious protective clothing.

Daniels also “cried herself to sleep” before coming to New York to testify for more than eight hours last Tuesday and Thursday, the attorney said.

Netflix is coming under fresh criticism after needlessly subjecting its British viewers to a man with a fully erect penis.

In what is being described as “low-grade porn,” the streaming giant appeared to break the ultimate taboo by showing a man experiencing the effects of Viagra.

Netflix was heavily criticised last night after British viewers were confronted with a fully erect penis in its new drama. Viewers, MPs and schools campaigners were shocked at the closing episode of the streaming giant’s six-part series A Man In Full. Actor Tom Pelphrey drops his bedsheet after taking Viagra to reveal himself to co-star Jeff Daniels in the adaptation of Tom Wolfe’s best-selling 1998 novel.

It is believed to be the first time a mainstream drama on British TV has broken the ‘erect penis’ taboo – and there was no prior warning about graphic nudity.It has highlighted worries about regulation of streaming services, with concern that children are at risk.

Many people have criticized the scene, including two politicians from the ruling Conservative Party.

“If Netflix is serving up this sort of low-grade, pornographic rubbish, we need to give Ofcom full oversight of the streaming giant’s output as soon as possible,” said Tory MP Alexander Stafford.

“Streaming services are available at any time of day, so watershed protection doesn’t apply,” added Tory MP Sara Britcliffe.

Netflix is notorious for promoting inappropriate content to its viewers, most of it layered with left-wing and progressive messaging.

The platform is currently also under fire for the show Baby Reindeer, which is accused of falsely depicting a man’s experience with a stalker who has since been publicly identified.

Back in 2020, the company sparked outrage after debuting Cuties, a French film showing an 11-year-old Muslim girl joining a sexualized dance clique to build her self confidence. The film is still available to watch and remains exclusive to Netflix.

President Trump was back in court on Tuesday as the never-ending Alvin Bragg show trial in New York City prevents him from campaigning across America.

The trial against Trump on still undefined criminal charges has gone on now for four weeks. This is the definition of election interference.

Of course, the mainstream legacy media lackeys are going along with this and reporting as if this unprecedented attack on Joe Biden’s political rival is something quite ordinary in American politics.

President Trump on Tuesday was flanked by North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), Rep. Cory Millis (R-FL) and turncoat Speaker Mike Johnson the worthless GOP House Speaker who sides with Democrats on every issue he can.

President Donald Trump: They are speaking very beautifully and they come all from all over Washington and they’re highly respected and they think this is the greatest scam they’ve ever seen. And some are Democrats. They’re very embarrassed by what’s going on. I just want to start by saying that on the electric vehicles that Biden is pushing down everybody’s throat, even though people don’t want them, he wants to put a big tariff on China, which is a suggestion that I said, where have you been for three and a half years? They should have done it a long time ago, but they’ve also got to do it on other vehicles and they have to do it on a lot of other products because China is eating our lunch right now. And they went away from what I was doing. They’re eating our lunch. So they have to do it on much more than electric vehicles and they have to get going fast.

But it should have been done three and a half years ago. I did it. I started, and then they started, started playing games. And it was very bad, very bad for the auto industry. In Michigan the auto industry is doing very poorly because jobs are starting to leave. We’re losing, you know, with the electric vehicle mandate. They’re going to be made in China. They’re all going to be made in China. And also in Mexico, owned by China.

A poll just came out, the very respected Redfield Wilton, and it has us up six in Michigan, seven in North Carolina, Pennsylvania plus two, Georgia plus Florida, plus nine, Arizona, plus two, and up in every other place, too. So that just came out. That’s on top of yesterday’s New York Times poll.

I think today I might just quote somebody that frankly has been extremely disrespectful to me over the last period of a few months. He’s watching this scam taking place. Michael Avenatti, have you heard the name? He said, “The next time you’re accused of something by someone, a co worker, neighbor, friend, significant other, stranger, ask yourself that it would be okay if only they were allowed to speak, accuse, antagonize while you were not allowed to respond.” He’s talking about the gag order, “…Or defend yourself in any way. If your answer is no, then you too should be angered by Trump not being allowed to respond to the various people that are making comments.”

Now think of it. You ask me questions I’m not allowed to respond. They’re the easiest questions that could possibly be asked. Only a guy like Biden couldn’t answer those questions because he’s not there.

You ready? So here’s a couple of quotes.

Mark Levin, great man, great legal talent. This is not a trial of Donald Trump. It’s a case of the Democrat party versus America. It also represents the greatest effort to interfere with and steal a federal election in American political history. Biden is seeking to clear the field. He wants to clear the field because he can’t do it himself. So he’s weaponized the Department of Justice. And as you know, they have their people in that room. Their DOJ is in that room because they want to try and hurt me. Now, the good news is my poll numbers have gone up significantly. This is not what they had in mind.

Newt Gingrich. This is without president in american history. It has never occurred to President John Adams or anybody else that you could jail your primary competitor, your primary opponent in his case, Vice President Thomas Jefferson. This goes back a long way. This has never happened in our country before.

This is their whole case. Are you allowed to call a legal expense a legal expense? I don’t know what else you call it, actually, but he brings it up here. The legal expense, it was, you know, what’s the problem? I never thought that as an attorney I could see a system like New York’s, one of the most sophisticated legal bars in the world really debase itself so badly. This judge should not be allowed in the case and he should not allow this case to go forward. Merchan should rule in favor of a directed verdict immediately. There is an insufficient amount of evidence. No crime has been shown. No crime has been committed. There’s been no crime. Judge Jeanine Pirro, she talks here. This is, well, she’s very excited here. He’s a fool. He’s not an experienced judge. So I’ll make that one a little short. I don’t want to insult anybody.

Greg Jarrett, brilliant guy. Greg’s argument is legally flawed. The Federal election Commission, FEC determined there was no campaign finance violation. The Department of Justice agreed. No civil fine was levied or criminal charge rendered. Those two entities have exclusive authority over federal elections. The state has absolutely no authority and the city, Bragg has no authority. And Bragg never wanted to bring this case. In all fairness to him, he never wanted to bring this case. Not a local prosecutor such as Alvin Bragg should be involved in this case. And by the way, the judge, who, as you know, is totally conflicted and everybody’s talking about it, it’s an embarrassment.

New York legal analyst Michael Morp(sp). CNN doesn’t think the prosecution has proven its case.

Senator John Kennedy, respected. Gentlemen, I will tell you that trial says more about politics than it does about it. An alleged crime. If you want to hide something from Bragg, you put it in the law book. Bringing in a fellow criminal trial, it hasn’t proved to be a felony. There was no crime. Everybody is saying there’s no crime. There is, absolutely. But I’ve been here for almost four weeks in an icebox, I call it the icebox, listening to a judge who’s totally corrupt and conflicted. Wil Shar, a finally respected lawyer. Hush money. It’s not a crime. Signing an NDA is not a crime. By the way, Congress, everybody in Congress have NDAs.

NDAs are very common non disclosure agreements. They’re not a crime. Claimant, CBS Morning News. There’s no evidence that this case is about campaign election violations. There’s no evidence. But again, we go back to the federal law. The FEC, Federal Election Commission said there’s not a problem. There’s no case. And Vivek is here right now so he can speak for himself. He said this is a sham trial. It’s politically motivated. It’s an assault on the leading candidate for US president. I would expect he would say something good, actually, so I won’t go through the rest. But he’s here. He’s going to talk to you. The speaker of the House is here. We have Byron, Donald Corey is here. We have a lot of great people here to talk to you and they won’t let them speak here. I guess they want to make it difficult for them to speak. So for some reason I can speak here, but I’m the only one that’s allowed. The gag order has to come off. So when you ask me a question about the people that we’re talking about, I’m not allowed to answer. There’s never been anything like this in the history of our country.

It’s a scam. It’s election interference at a level that’s never taken place before. And now, if you don’t mind, I’m going to go into the icebox and sit for a long time. Thank you very much.

Until October 7, 2023, and the murderous Hamas attack into Israel, the Biden Team had been focused on the mysterious Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with Iran.

The terms and conditions of the agreement has been chronicled by the United States Government, but at the same time, there has been vagueness on what the JCPOA was or said.  A senior State Department official said in 2015, “The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is not a treaty or an executive agreement, and is not a signed document,”

If the Obama era JCPOA is not a treaty, not an executive agreement, and not a signed document, just what is it?  If it was none of these, why did John Kerry, Secretary of State at the time, beg Iran not to talk publicly about how he had been out maneuvered by Iran on JCPOA language?

Why did Ben Rhodes have to be disingenuous and mischievous to sell the JCPOA which he was lauded for in an infamous New York Times piece.  There has been a lot of drama on the JCPOA since the document, which was not a treaty, not an agreement, was not signed in 2015.  But now the multi-year intrigue is getting even more cloudy and unclear as the Iran lead for the Biden Team, Rob Malley, has been removed from his position.

Rob Malley was the State Department Special Envoy for Iran negotiations, but has been on unpaid leave status while under investigation for security matters.  State Department has forgotten to purge his biography.

Malley seems to possess a broad and deep experience on Middle East matters, however he is at the center of what has been identified as an Iranian influence operation to penetrate the Biden policy making process.

Per the “The Atlantic”, a blue leaning journal, “The emails look bad” and point toward the role of a non-profit called the International Crisis Group where Malley had been President before joining the Biden team.

Malley seems to have ensured the placement of two key personnel Ariane M. Tabatabai and Ali Vaez who are identified as Iranian active sympathizers, or worse, as his key personnel with his office.  Both U.S. Government Employees are identified as being part of the Iranian Government, “Iranian Experts Initiative” to influence U.S. Government policy on Iran.

Ali Vaez, admitted on X (formerly Twitter) that he solicited Iranian Government feedback on an Op-Ed to be published before it was published (while he was in the U.S. Government).  “I look forward to your comments and feedback” his email to the Iranians read.

It is unclear where Ms. Tabatabai is, her presence is pervasive in most progressive think tanks such as Belfer, a typical place on the bench for blue leaning personalities.

She may or may not be the Chief of Staff for the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations (ASD SOLIC), but she doesn’t appear on the website.  A reasonable question for Congress to ask immediately – what role did any of these three have in determining the Intelligence Community priorities stack and were all things Hamas and Israel above or below the “cut line” of priorities.

A Rob Malley 2.0 now outed on the Biden Team?

Now there is a potential Rob Malley 2.0 on the Biden Team.  His name is Maher Bitar and he is Director for Intelligence and Defense on the National Security Staff at the White House.  Maher’s Bio seems to be a who’s who listing of globalist and Deep State accomplishments.

He has worked for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the same organization that has received billions over the years to accomplish nothing in the Gaza Strip, and had multiple members participate in the bloody October 7 attack into Israel.  He’s a Young Leader with the World Economic Forum.  Maher was part of the coup against President Trump where he worked for noteworthy Congressmen such as Adam Schiff.

His Linkedin profile is a bit lame – it shows that he is linked to Dr. Michael Sulmeyer, another Biden political who has been appointed, but not yet confirmed to be the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber Policy in the Department of Defense. 

The UNRWA accomplishment is quite noteworthy, I doubt that there’s more than one or two others inside the U.S. Government that have worked for UNRWA.  But wait there’s more.  Maher was the President of the SJP, Students for Justice in Palestine while at Georgetown University. 

The SJP is a radical student group that has been quite vocal and violent against Jewish students and Pro-Palestinian causes on college campuses.

Crucial role a National Security Staff Member plays in decisioning on speed of aid to Israel

America is a diverse country and in 2024, there will be multiple backgrounds represented inside the U.S. Government, as there should be.  However, the National Security Council position that Maher encumbers maintains significant influence on policy inside any Administration.

If weapons shipments are being slow walked to Israel, there’s a small number of fingerprints that would be on this Action Memo circulated in and through the top levels of the Inter-Agency proceedings of the White House and Departments and Agencies, and Maher’s fingerprints would very likely be part of this finite set.

Having someone with the provocative and extremist job experience of Bitar’s is brazen and over the top.  If Maher wants to be a Palestinian activist, that is totally acceptable – he just needs to be a professional and leave government service.  Doing it on or off the clock like a Portland public school teacher for Antifa is unacceptable.

According to a recent op-ed in the New York Times, China’s economy is not doing so well; in fact, it might be hitting a “dead end.”

Anne Stevenson-Yang, a writer who focuses on China’s macro-economy, argues that the CCP’s over-investment into industries like infrastructure, the energy sector, and real estate has left the economy unstable and citizens in monetary binds. 

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen have also recently warned that cheap Chinese exports flooding the global marketplace are making it tremendously difficult for American businesses and workers to compete. 

Stevenson-Yang argues that “the ‘reform and opening’ era, which has transformed China and captivated the world since it began in the late 1970s, has ended with a whimper.”

Not only is this leading to issues for Americans struggling to cope with inflation and rising costs of living, per Stevenson-Yang, but China’s economic bind is leading to “malaise” and intense dissatisfaction among Chinese citizens as well.

Gish Yen, a teacher working in Beijing, wrote a New York Times op-ed in April illuminating how things have drastically changed in China over the last few decades due to the failures of the CCP to properly regulate the economy. 

She writes, 

In this famously cosmopolitan city, there are weirdly few foreigners compared with before, many having left because of the stifling policies during the pandemic or because international companies have pulled out employees, or other reasons. Clothing shops are empty and many other stores have closed. The Nanjing West Road shopping district, previously a sea of humans, is strangely underpopulated.

Chinese emigration to Western countries is on the up and up due to such overwhelming economic stagnation. Over the past two years, China has seen a 62 percent increase in emigrants: over 300,000 per year versus a previous average of about 190,000. 

Many of these people are trying to enter the United States; Border Patrol reportedly encounters hundreds of illegal Chinese immigrants every day. 

The former president Donald Trump has warned of the consequences of allowing such immigration to go unchecked. Will his vision of an America First foreign policy be allowed to prevail in November, or will the empty statements of U.S. officials like Blinken and Yellen continue to be all talk and no action?

Attorney General Merrick Garland, Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, and FBI Director Christopher Wray announced on Monday their latest plan to censor Americans under the guise of combatting “election threats.”

Attorney General Merrick Garland who is directly tied to the historic persecution of opposition candidate Donald J. Trump led the discussion today in Washington DC on election threats.

He should have mentioned his name first when he lectured on current election threats.

Merrick Garland today mentioned the DOJ and FBI’s work to protect elections from national security threats. Garland added, “It includes our National Security Division’s and the FBI’s work to protect our elections from national security threats, including malign foreign influence and cyber-enabled campaigns.”

Talk about gaslighting! These are three of the most controversial and corrupt officials in Washington DC today lecturing on clean elections.

Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC) noted the convenient timing of this announcement by Garland and Wray.

Just last week the Biden regime was forced to dissolve and disband the unlawful DHS Intelligence Experts Group stacked with deep state partisans like James Clapper and John Brennan following a lawsuit by America First Legal and Ambassador Richard Grenell.

It took them only a week to announce their latest efforts to censor and silence Americans.

What they did is they said there’s this thing called critical infrastructure, which ranges from elections to public health to basically any sensitive policy issue. If you make a post online that undermines public faith and confidence in that critical infrastructure, then you are in effect committing a cyber security attack on US critical infrastructure, necessitating a DHS intervention by what way of censorship.

This really dirty trick of calling a cyber censorship, cybersecurity, is how DHS got involved in this business. DHS teamed up with the FBI in the 2020 election. They also created a series of cutouts in the private sector and the academic worlds to serve as the attack dogs for DHS content, for social media content DHS wanted taken down. This was an extraordinary scandal that burst open around 2022. There’s a preliminary scandal that burst open in about 2022.

My organization, FFO, was the tip of the spear in reporting all of that. There have been probably four or five Congressional hearings as well as three or four lawsuits about this. And one of them is currently awaiting a decision at the preliminary level at the Supreme Court. But because the Supreme Court stayed the injunction, DHS and the FBI were actually enjoined from being able to do what they’ve just done by the trial court and the appellate court because of a decision by those courts that this was in violation, an interim decision, that this was a violation of the First Amendment.

But the Supreme Court waived that, which is a standard procedure for them as they deliberate after the oral arguments and all the briefs have been filed. So the FBI and DHS are taking advantage of this lull period, awaiting a SCOTUS decision, to resume the same dirty work that they were doing in the 2020 election, which, I should add, culminated by their own arithmetic in 22 million tweets just on Twitter alone being categorized as terms of service violations under a new terms of service policy that only was installed because of DHS pressure. And they bragged on tape that this delegitimization of election processes policies wouldn’t have been in place without DHS pressure.

Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno is making it clear: if liberal migrants from blue states don’t appreciate Florida’s firm stance on law and order, they should pack their bags and return to their crime-ridden home states.

Sheriff Marceno’s primary message is that Californians and other liberals shouldn’t bring the policies that ruined their states to Sunshine State, Florida.

Sheriff Marceno’s message comes as a rallying cry amidst growing frustration with policies in liberal states that have led to increased crime rates. In an interview with Fox News, the sheriff, who had previously lived in New York, spoke frankly about the flood of left-leaning newcomers who bring their failed policies with them.

“My message… is clear. If you think you can deal poison and commit crime, stay clear of Lee County and all the great state of Florida. We’re ready, and we will absolutely find you, hunt you down, and charge you to force the extent of the law,” Marceno told Fox News.

“The only thing safe in my county is it’s safe to assume and know that if you deal drugs, you’re going to jail. We’re not going to help people take drugs. We’re going to help people that have drug addictions and get them the help they need, and we’re going to help the dealers to be incarcerated. It’s pretty simple.”

“We’re not apologizing for keeping people safe. That’s not happening here. New York getting people punched in the face for walking down the street. This is lawlessness. I mean, what has our world come to?”

“We have a duty to protect. We protect children. We protect our community and the elderly. I would hunt that person down with all resources, and I don’t care where they go, and I would punish them to the fullest extent of the law,” he said.

The sheriff pointed out an alarming trend: left-leaning individuals are escaping the very conditions they voted for in their home states only to perpetuate similar political agendas in their new Floridian communities. This cycle, according to Marceno, is unacceptable.

“They want to leave California. They want to leave New York. Okay. And then they come down to a state like Florida, where we are law and order, and they don’t change their views,” he said.

“You left a place where there’s havoc, where people can rob, steal, loot, do drugs in safe havens. And then you’re upset that it’s so bad there, and you come here and still do the same thing. Same action, same result.”

The sheriff described the exodus from states where chaos reigns supreme—places where theft, looting, and drug use are rampant—and expressed frustration at these newcomers who continue their old voting habits despite seeking refuge in Florida’s stability.

“I tell people all the time, and it’s probably not popular to some. If you don’t like living with law and order, have a nice day. Leave. Go back to where you came from because we don’t want you here,” declared Marceno.

As Florida welcomes new residents with open arms under Governor DeSantis’ administration, with its promise of lower taxes, better governance, and safer streets, Sheriff Marceno’s words serve as a stark reminder: embrace our way of life or return to the anarchy you left behind.
