At least four people were killed Thursday night in Houston, Texas, as powerful storms swept through the city, causing severe flooding and extensive property damage.

Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña revealed at a news briefing that two of the four people who died were killed by falling trees, while a third died when a crane blew over.

One resident told the WHSV that the damage to the city was so severe that “it looks like a bomb went off.”

Some Houston residents also claim they saw tornadoes amid the chaotic weather. NWS Houston will work to confirm these reports in the coming days.

The downtown area of Houston was hit particularly hard, and the aftermath looked like scenes from a horror movie. One video shows people working on a top building floor, screaming and fleeing in terror as the storm shatters the glass. Large debris is also seen flying up against and possibly into the building.

Pity the people caught up in the middle of this inferno, especially in the street. One has to wonder what they were thinking.

During the storms, winds gusted up to 100 miles per hour, knocking out power for almost 1 million residents.

Video of intense straight-line winds in the downtown Houston area earlier. Wind gusts of 80-100 mph was recorded across the area with nearly a million customers without power.

The Houston Chronicle reports that restoring power to the worst-hit areas will take several days or longer.

Houston Mayor John Whitmire has warned residents to remain at home, noting the massive amount of debris and broken traffic lights.

“I can’t emphasize enough the danger of fallen trees and fallen utility wire, he said. “Downtown is a mess. It’s dangerous due to the glass and the lack of traffic lights, so stay at home.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said in a statement that the state is deploying resources to the impacted area. He also thanked the the first responders for the heroic efforts to protect Houston residents.

The WNBA is cooking the golden goose – but you can’t say they were not warned.

The national women’s basketball league was blessed when the best women’s basketball player in history ended her career at Iowa breaking virtually every scoring and assist records in NCAA women’s basketball history.

Her name is Caitlin Clark. She brought viewers to women’s basketball that never followed the game before. She was fantastic and fun to watch. She was a breathe of fresh air during this terrible time in our country’s history.

The great Jason Whitlock loves Caitlin Clark because she is so good.

Whitlock also warned about the attacks Clark would receive for being white, Christian and straight. He predicted, “She’s going to walk into an extremely hostile environment.”

Whitlock was right.

The WNBA foolishly claims the reason for the increase in viewership this year is because of the outstanding players in the league.

The truth is no one watched a WNBA game for years before Caitlin Clark stepped on the court.

Clarke played in the four most-watched games in women’s NCAA basketball history. The women’s championship was watched by more viewers than the men’s game.

She is doing the same in the WNBA. Tuesday’s opener for the Indianapolis Fever was the most-watched WNBA game in ESPN history, and it was aired on ESPN2.

But unfortunately the WNBA doesn’t realize the opportunity they have or what exactly is going on.

Many Americans don’t agree with the destruction that BLM riots created across the country in 2020. They don’t want to see politics in sports. Yet, in the first game that Caitlin Clark played in the WNBA, a pre-season game, the halftime entertainment was a discussion between two WNBA players on racism. Americans don’t want that force fed to them when they tune in to watch a game!

After joining the league, Clark pushed for charter flights for the players who had been traveling commercial. She did this for the league, but the girls didn’t seem to care. Perhaps Whitlock was right?

On the first charter flight for the WNBA, Caitlin Clark noticeably sat by herself on the plane. The girls on her team and across the league were blessed with charter flights thanks to Clark.

In the video below, Clark’s teammate calls the team “gang members”.

The team went on to lose the first game. Clark scored 20 points but was forced to sit on the bench because of being called for four fouls that didn’t look like fouls at all. Clark, who never got in foul trouble her entire season in the NCAA, received four fouls that night!

On Thursday night, the refs called Clark for five fouls. She ended the game with only nine points. Sports fans have never seen Clark score so few points. The calls by the refs were again very questionable while the fouls against Clark appeared to be ignored. Could the refs be jealous and biased as well as the players?

This could be the case, but the person who is really sticking out for her performance is the coach Christie Sides. Why is she not allowing Clark to play the position that she played in college? Why does Clark not see the ball? Why is Clark not shooting more? Does this coach know what she is doing?

Clark’s fellow players are also to blame. The center, Alijah Boston, who won Rookie of the Year last year, looks horrible. She is slow and out of shape and is getting her shots blocked left and right from two feet away from the basket. She went 5 for 15 on Thursday within feet of the rim.

Social media is blowing up over the Indiana Fever’s loss last night to New York. Americans see that the WNBA is totally blowing it.

The golden goose is getting cooked.

The sweet, talented Iowa girl who helped bring in a charter flight for the entire league is being attacked from all directions. She is projected to bring in $100 million to the league this year, yet her coach isn’t giving her the ball. Her teammates and players around the league are jealous of her and resent her. The refs are calling horrible fouls against her, and the WNBA pushes racist discussions at halftime.

It’s doubtful those who follow Caitlin Clark will put up with much more of this.

On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, a Brooklyn jury returned a guilty verdict in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, convicting both Qing Ming Yu (Allen Yu) and Zhe Zhang (Zack Zhang) of murder-for-hire for the shooting of Xin Chris Gu outside a KTV club on the evening of February 12, 2019, in Flushing, New York.

The jury convicted Mr. Zhang even though there was little evidence to prove that he was the driver of the white Honda Accord, which was seen on video leaving the area of the KTV club.

In fact, there was no forensic or physical evidence that put Mr. Zhang on the scene. The jury convicted based on the biased and inconsistent testimony of two cooperating witnesses: You You (the nephew of Qing Ming Yu) and David Yu, a prior violent felon.

The evidence actually showed these two witnesses had motive to commit the crime and they admitted to being near the KTV club that evening. You You testified that he was angered by Mr. Gu for humiliating his uncle, Allen Yu, by stealing his uncle’s construction clients and jeopardizing the family’s wealth.

David Yu was You You’s boyhood friend, who admitted to committing multiple violent crimes in the past, sometimes together with You You. Shockingly, You You and David Yu both admitted to engaging in armed robbery before. Before being arrested, the two robbed a private casino owner of $300,000 at gunpoint, a crime both of them admitted at trial.

You You and David Yu testified that they went to the KTV club, on February 12, 2019, to commit the murder of Mr. Gu, but got “cold feet,” and drove a mile away to do drugs instead and fell asleep.

This incredible testimony was contradicted by evidence that You You and David Yu were by the shooting. First, evidence showed that Mr. Gu called an Uber car to drive him from the club that night. The Uber driver arrived at the same time as the masked shooter and witnessed the shooting.

The Uber driver testified at trial that he saw the shooter and would never forget his eyes – “Asian eyes.” Also, evidence at trial showed that You You received a phone call from someone inside the KTV club close to the time of the shooting.

This would be the only way the shooter would know that Mr. Gu was leaving the club because the Honda, where the shooter waited prior to committing the murder, was parked in an area with an obstructed view of the door of the club and the area was poorly lit.

This trial also was marked by grave government misconduct.

Even before the trial started, the defense lawyers challenged government search warrants that contained multiple lies by the FBI agent in charge of the investigation. Defense lawyers argued that the FBI agent used false information to get the judge to issue the warrants. The agent also omitted crucial facts which made his affidavit knowingly false.

First, FBI Agent Lin included in his affidavit to the Court a shocking lie that David Yu, a government witness, had been cooperating with the FBI and gave truthful information that had been corroborated by other evidence. At the time of Lin’s affidavit, however, David Yu had only been interviewed once at the time of his arrest on a narcotics charge.

At that time, Yu denied participating in the murder of Mr. Gu and gave no information to the FBI at all. Lin made that all up in his affdavit. Also, Lin did not include in his affidavit the fact that he had another cooperating witness, Carlos Senquiz, who earlier told Lin that David Yu confessed to being the shooter of Mr. Gu. This was nowhere in Agent Lin’s affidavit to the judge in support of the search warrants.

Despite these lies and omissions, the judge upheld the lawfulness of the search warrants.

Defense lawyers for Mr. Zhang and Mr. Allen Yu filed a series of post-trial motions after the guilty verdicts. The judge just denied these motions on Monday evening.

Defense lawyers requested the Court to order the government to unseal grand jury testimony, which led to the Indictment in this case. The judge refused. Defense lawyers argued that these grand jury transcripts would show that the Indictment relied on testimony that Allen Yu allegedly promised to pay Mr. Zhang and You You largel sums of money for the murder of Gu. In fact, this is what the government was saying in pretrial submissions to the Court.

However, in the middle of trial, You You gave surprising testimony that money was never paid to him or Mr. Zhang for the murder of Mr. Gu. Instead, he changed his testimony to say that Mr. Zhang wanted to get involved in the murder-for-hire in exchange for receiving the business contacts and lists of suppliers, contractors used by Allen Yu in his Amoco business.

This was strange because Mr. Zhang was not in the construction business and testimony at trial showed Mr. Zhang was looking to legitimize his marijuana business. If the government changed its theory at trial from the one presented to the grand jury, under constitutional law, the case would have to be thrown out.

Also, the government admitted to hiding evidence from the Zhang defense team before trial. After the guilty verdicts, the government produced evidence of grand jury testimony and FBI interviews with a witness who clearly contradicted one of the government’s cooperating witnesses.

The government had one witness, Roberto Burbano, who was not involved in the murder-for-hire, who testified that he saw a Chinese male driving a white Mercedes with a black top pull over and stop and talk to Antony Abreu on the same night of Mr. Gu’s murder.

Other than David Yu and You You, who admitted to being involved in the murder, Mr. Burbano’s testimony was the only witness who identified a car the government proved was connected to Mr. Zhang and someone who looked like him together with the alleged shooter, Abreu.

However, the government never told Mr. Zhang’s defense team before or during trial that they interviewed another witness who contradicted Mr. Burbano’s account.

This witness testified before the grand jury that Burbano was not present with Abreu at the time of the alleged encounter with the man who resembled Mr. Zhang. This misconduct by the government, known as a Brady violation, should have led to a new trial for Mr. Zhang. But the judge incredibly denied the defense motion.

It seems unfair for the Government to base its conviction or Mr. Zhang and Allen Yu solely on the testimony of the perpetrators, You You and David Yu.

Mr. Zhang and Allen Yu’s sentencing hearing is scheduled before the Hon. Carol B. Amon on May 22, 2024. The law requires Judge Amon to sentence each of these men to a life sentence without parole

The View’s Sara Haines smears Catholics.

The bitter ladies of ABC’s The View had a complete meltdown over Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s recent commencement speech at Benedictine College, a Catholic institution.

Co-host Sara Haines put her anti-Catholic bigotry on full display, calling Butker and those who share his Catholic faith “extremists” and “cult-like.”

Haines said Butker is part of “a very extreme religion” because he attends a traditional Latin mass.

She added that a Latin mass is similar to the “cult-like and extremist like some religions in the Middle East and Asia.”

This is someone practicing what is called the traditional Latin Mass, which is divergent from the majority of Catholics and compared to being cult-like and extremist like some religions in the Middle East and Asia.

So this is a very extreme religion.

She also lectured Butker about how he doesn’t “walk with Jesus” or oppressed people:

So, what I can say to him, as a Christian, is if you’re using this to oppress people or hold them down you’re not walking with Jesus. If you are using the religion, if you’re more obsessed with the religious rituals and practices than you are with the word of Jesus, you’re not walking with Jesus. And if you’re using it for the judgment of others and as a weapon to beat people down you’re also not walking with Jesus.

Butker’s crime was suggesting some women find fulfillment in being homemakers.

After a Nashville hotel got cold feet and sought to cancel a pro-Israel event, Christian finance expert and syndicated radio host Dave Ramsey stepped in to be sure the event went on.

The Sonesta Nashville Airport hotel was scheduled to host the pro-Israel event until an anti-Israel group made noise. The group Palestine Hurra Collective Nashville claimed on Instagram that the purpose of the event was to “celebrate the death of civilians and recruit new Zionists!”

“Call relentlessly until this event is shut down!” the post urged.

The pressure worked. The hotel canceled the event.

“I think that the hotel jumped the gun and decided that they were going to just sort of dump this Israel event a week before it was going to happen, which is very unfortunate for the hotel because that’s in violation of Title II of the Civil Rights Act as well as Tennessee state law,” Hiram Sasser, executive general counsel at First Liberty Institute, said, according to Fox News.

But Ramsey, who runs Ramsey Solutions in nearby Franklin, is not among those giving in to fear.

“Dave Ramsey reached out and said, ‘You’re going to have it at my place and we’re going to take this event to a whole new level and make it 10x what it was before. All of the details have come together and the event is skyrocketing in numbers.” Joshua Waller, a host of the Israel Guys podcast said, according to The Daily Wire.

The podcast and HaYovel, a ministry that connects Christians who want to volunteer with farmers in Judea and Samaria, are among the sponsors of the event.

“Ramsey Solutions is proud to stand beside our friends from Israel by providing them a safe place to hold their event as our gift to them,” Ramsey Solutions said in a statement.

“We will move forward with this event at a different venue and show these thugs that they will not be rewarded for their unconstitutional, hateful actions,” HaYovel announced, according to the Daily Wire.

A news release on the First Liberty website said the hotel told HaYovel,  “We have received credible threats regarding the safety of your group, our guests and employees, our hotel and sister property, and to businesses in our neighborhood. Those threats were confirmed by law enforcement officials in the last 24 hours.”

The release said hotel officials said police told them the cancel the event.

Nashville police said that is not true, according to WZTV-TV.

“The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department did not advocate, in any shape or form, for the cancellation of the conference at the Sonesta Hotel. Any inference to the contrary is false. Equally false is the assertion in an on-line article that this police department voiced concerns about persons being in physical danger,” the statement said.

“In fact, members of the police department did, indeed, meet with hotel management at its request to talk about the conference. We let it be known that we were absolutely prepared to help the hotel create a safety and security plan, as we would with any of our city’s hotels, and offer additional support if needed.

“At the same time, I am aware that the Sonesta was receiving a number of external messages urging that it not host the event. In the end, the Sonesta Hotel made a corporate decision to cancel. This police department was in no way a party to that decision,” the statement said.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Nashville sent a statement saying “Harassment and intimidation are unacceptable and have no place in our community. We have registered our concerns and are in close contact with our law enforcement partners and continue to focus with determination and vigilance on keeping our community safe.”

After her verbal lashing courtesy of Mumford & Sons banjo player Winston Marshall in April at Oxford, Rep. Nancy Pelosi is not excited about President Joe Biden’s decision to debate former President Donald Trump before the two square off in November.

In an interview with CNN‘s Manu Raju posted to X on Wednesday, Pelosi explained her disapproval of Biden’s choice to debate.

“I myself would never recommend going on stage with Donald Trump, but the president has decided that’s what he wants to do,” Pelosi began before proceeding to offer her own method for how CNN should spotlight the two candidates, albeit in a format where they aren’t in the same room.

“I think you all [CNN] should have separate townhall meetings with them. Let them, challenge them with questions about the future, and let the public make its decision.”

You couldn’t blame Pelosi for her cynicism for Democrats taking the debate stage.

Just last month, Pelosi debated Marshall at Oxford University where she took the stance that “populism is a threat to democracy” and Marshall argued the contrary.

Although her side received a favorable vote of 177-68, it was Marshall who made the most memorable quotes while she appeared to babble with the usual left-wing rhetoric.

Marshall told the audience, “Mainstream media elites are part of a class who don’t just disdain populism, they disdain the people,” while Pelosi countered, that populism is “the misrepresentation of people who exploit the populist attitude of ‘I want to have my say’ and then use it to get elected and then hurt those people the most.”

Such dialogues prove that Pelosi is not equipped to handle discussions of political theory, and that the Democrats don’t really have much ground to stand on when it comes to views on democracy — considering their suppression of it.

That all being said, you can see why Pelosi would not be elated with Biden’s choice of taking the debate stage.

Putting her recent experience aside, there are two more explanations for her apprehension towards Biden’s decision.

Obviously, the president is in a state of severe cognitive decline.

He did not handle his debates with Trump in 2020 well. Four years later, his state continues to worsen as countless examples show a man who repeats easily disproven lies, slurs his words together, wanders around aimlessly, and appears lost, tired, and totally incapable of the nation’s highest office.

While even sympathetic voices would not accuse Trump of being the most eloquent speaker, his energy is even higher now for the executive officer than it was in his first re-election bid.

Trump has plenty to attack Biden for during the last four years, and the president will surely struggle to keep pace.

This leads to the other reason why Pelosi does not want a Biden-Trump debate.

Biden’s presidential record has been absolutely abysmal by every measure. The border crisis continues while rampant inflation and reckless spending hamstring the American voter. The list of Biden’s problems — the problems the Democratic party must juggle before November — seem endless.

If Democrats hope to hold their own in November, Biden must not debate. The American people are already familiar with his many shortcomings in office, but Biden trying to defend that record is only going to salt the wound.

Pelosi knows this and couldn’t be more worried about Biden’s decision.

As previously reported, conservative Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito flew an upside-down American flag at his Alexandria, Virginia home after the fraudulent 2020 presidential election.

According to the far-left New York Times, neighbors confirmed that Justice Alito’s home displayed the inverted flag on January 17, 2021 — just days after the January 6 Capitol protest and shortly before Joe Biden’s inauguration.

According to Alito, the flag was a reaction to “F*ck Trump” yard signs posted by neighbors and verbal attacks toward his wife, rather than a political statement.

“I had no involvement whatsoever in the flying of the flag,” Alito told the Times. “It was briefly placed by Mrs. Alito in response to a neighbor’s use of objectionable and personally insulting language on yard signs.”

According to Fox News anchor Shannon Bream, Alito’s nasty leftist neighbor also called his wife Martha-Ann a “c*nt.”

CNN’s Anderson Cooper said Thursday has admitted that he would doubt the credibility of Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, after he provided testimony during the president’s criminal trial in New York.

Discussing the trial with CNN legal analyst Elie Honig, Cooper agreed with the prevailing view that Cohen had crumbled under cross-examination from Trump’s defense lawyer, Todd Blanche.

COOPER: Throughout the day, Michael Cohen, when cornered, he found himself in a corner he does have a pattern of suddenly not understanding the question being asked are seemingly kind of, I mean, one could say buying time to try to figure out what, how he wants to answer. But he definitely suddenly starts to have Todd Blanche repeat questions saying, ‘I don’t quite understand what you mean, I’m confused by the question.’ But this time, Michael Cohen was cornered in what appeared here to be a lie, I think to many in the room.

You could tell the import of the moment and everyone in the courtroom could tell and if you were unaware of it, the clicking of every of every reporters’ in the room typewriters, it was like a crescendo because the drama of the moment was so clear to everybody.

HONIG: Let me ask you if if I can put you in the jury box, having just witnessed that piece of cross-examination, do you have doubts that that conversation happened the way Michael Cohen testified?

COOPER: Absolutely. Absolutely. I think it’s devastating for Michael Cohen’s credibility on this, I mean on this one particular topic. It’s hard too, I don’t know. Yes. I think if I was a juror in this case watching that, I would think, this guy’s making this up as he’s going along or he’s making this particular story up.

In a separate clip, Honig concurred that Cohen, himself a convicted perjurer, had had his “knees chopped out” by Trump’s attorney.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a star cooperating witness get his knees chopped out quite as clearly and dramatically as what just happened with Michael Cohen,” he explained. “I’ve certainly seen very effective cross-examinations of cooperating witnesses. I’ve seen aspects of their story cut into and called into question.”

If even far-left CNN are doubting credibility of their star witness, this does not bode well for the prosecution led by the Manhattan’s leftist District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

There are three key issues that are being leveraged by those seeking to compromise Elections in America.  The threat actors will constantly evolve to evade the security and remediation established to address the last successful play – so expect something different in 2024.  Vigilance, awareness, and publicly addressing matters in a vigorous manner are a deterrent.  The perpetrators behave differently when they know they are being watched.

The most important factor in the November 2024 election will be the involvement of the citizen.  For those wanting election integrity, the best thing is to become a sworn election officer and work behind the counter counting votes.  How do you do this?  Go to the website for your county, city, township, or whatever the administrative structure is in your state and sign up to be a sworn election official.  I’ve done this for many elections since 2000.

It’s hard to put out tactical guidance on exactly what to look for in election misappropriation because of the different election laws in each state and the roughly 3,300 counties and county equivalents across the country.  But there are three issues that stand out as common opportunities for mischievous behavior by those intent on throwing elections.  Arabella, Soros, and China have the money to buy elections, but we have most of the population behind us.

Failure of States to validate that voters being registered at the time of Driver Licensing are Lawful Voters

Common to many states is the failure of State and County Officials to establish that names derived from those seeking Drivers Licenses are eligible to vote in a Federal Election.  County Officials most often called “Registrars” are normally the responsible, legal, sworn, constitutional official for ensuring a voter is a lawful voter.  The National Voter Registration Act Of 1993 (NVRA) (often called “Motor Voter”) mandated the option to register to vote when applying for a Driver’s License in 44 states.  The first line of most states’ driver license form is a selection for yes/no on whether the registrant wants to register to vote.  All else on the form must be RealID Act compliant.  The RealID Act requires hard to counterfeit Identification such as a passport.  Maybe that’s why the Federal Government has allowed delays of RealID Act compliance until 2025.

There is no demonstrable process in any state I am aware of where County Registrars have a trusted methodology or capability to assure that names being projected or shared from the State Department of Motor Vehicles data bases from that first line of the form, are vetted to ensure the lawful nature of the registering voter.  There are at least two basic facts to be established when that name comes to the County Registrar from the State DMV data base – they must be a US Citizen (18 U.S. Code § 611 – Voting by Aliens) or not already being a registered voter in another state.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) and State GOPs should demand that State Election Commissioners and County Registrars demonstrate a trusted process to ensure proper validation that ensures only eligible voters for Federal Elections are transmitted in Department of Motor Vehicle database exchanges with State and County voter rolls.  Local activists at the County or Township level should form Citizen Grand Juries to compel the Registrar to demonstrate a trusted process for vetting names from the DMV database.  Fractal Analysis can play a key role in validating the names at cyber speed.

Transparency, accuracy, and accessibility to Voter Rolls

Voter rolls, which are essentially data bases, have no demonstrable process to validate authoritative source of truth and accuracy.  They are updated countless times daily with no public official being held accountable for these matters.  Often, the rolls are considered restricted access or very expensive to obtain.  This is public information that should be available, accurate, and incur a very nominal charge for access.  Closely tied into integrity is the ability to match drop off/mail in ballots with a trusted roll.  Two things could make drop off/mail-in ballots acceptable:  accurate rolls and trusted ballots.

The Republican National Committee and State GOPs (or other national groups) should demand that State Election Commissioners and County Registrars demonstrate a trusted process to ensure accuracy of the rolls, appoint a legally responsible official, and make rolls available for a fraction of the normal cost.  Local activists at the County or Township level should seek to compel action out of their Election Board and Election Registrar on this matter.

Illegals voting and inflating census counts

The strategy for the Biden illegal alien surge is to drive them through the Motor Voter Registration process.  With no legitimate capability in place to validate the names being generated by State DMVs, the illegal aliens seeking a driver’s license will become part of the voter rolls.  This is a twofer – the illegals in addition are being counted by a weaponized Census Bureau which drives the apportionment of House Seats in Congress.  Texas, Florida, and other Red States were robbed of multiple House Seats with the 2020 fake Census Count.  The Census Bureau is one of those obscure but heavily weaponized government entities that must be de-weaponized.

This issue is a national focus and the RNC should lead the charge to petition and compel the Census Bureau to separate out illegal residents and use only legal citizens as the correct count for the apportionment of House Seats and related matters.  There are Federal and national level issues, state matters, and also county and local actions to take well before November 2024.  The voting season begins in September for some states.  We have to play the ball where it lays when it comes to election matters and the imperative is to stop bellowing on social media, put down the bowl of loudmouth soup, get off the couch, get in the game, and compel action by your county/township Election Board and the Election Registrar.  Also work behind the counter and count the votes as an Election Officer (which is not poll watching – don’t waste time with that canard).
