Catholic parishioners in Mozambique recently shared their stories of the violence and murders that have been perpetrated against them by Muslims for daring to profess their Christian faith.

Catholics of Chipene in Nampulam, a province in northern Mozambique, told ACI Africa they spoke with a delegation of the Episcopal Conference of Mozambique (CEM) with disturbing details about how deadly the ongoing insurgency by militant Islamists in the region is for Christians.

They shared details of the murder of Sr. Maria De Coppi, an 84-year-old Italian Comboni missionary sister who served malnourished and orphaned children there almost 60 years after she was reportedly shot dead by insurgents who attacked the Comboni Mission of Chipene in Mozambique’s Nacala Diocese.

After Sr. Maria’s murder, the terrorists then went on to vandalize the church and set fire to the sisters‘ house and the priests’ house. They then set fire to the house where Sr. Maria cared for orphaned and malnourished children.

As insurgents passed through Nantaca, they asked Silvano Valentim about his religion, to which he proudly affirmed his Christianity. He was told by the terrorists to sit down, and he was beheaded, according to the parishioners who spoke with ACI Africa.

When the Islamists moved to Tataulo, they forced locals to separate into groups of men and women, as well as Muslims and Christians.

A parishioner recounted, “When the first three Christians bravely came forward, they were tied up and beheaded.”

“While they were killing the first, named Francisco Rimo, baptized and married in the Church with nine children, they put the book of the liturgy (Masu Apwiya) on his chest. The second, known as Celestino Santos Mitupiya, was baptized, married in a church, father of seven children, and a catechist, and had the Bible placed on his chest. The third, named Silva António, was a catechumen and father of two children, who were given the catechism of the third stage,” the parishioners recounted.

ACI Africa reports:

Speaking with Bishops in Mozambique who visited that parish that has been experiencing insurgency that started in neighboring Cabo Delgado province in 2018, the parishioners who did not give their names for security reasons said Christians in Mozambique have undergone horrible persecution, and that those killed are the country’s martyrs.

“Since these men and others who we have previously mentioned were killed in hatred of the faith, we believe that they are our martyrs who did not refuse to bear witness to their faith and courageously gave their lives,” read the statement that a parishioner read to the Bishops who visited that Catholic community on June 2.

The Biden DOJ convicted Paula Harlow last year of federal conspiracy against rights and FACE offenses for peacefully protesting an abortion clinic in DC back in 2020.

US District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, a Clinton appointee, sentenced Harlow to 24 months in prison.

She was the tenth defendant to be sentenced by the Biden Regime related to the peaceful abortion protest.

Paulette Harlow, who is 75 years old, participated in a peaceful protest at an abortion clinic in 2020 and didn’t hurt anyone.

According to Catholic News Agency, Harlow has significant health issues. Her husband fears she may die in prison.

“Paula Paulette Harlow, 75, of Kingston, Massachusetts, was sentenced in U.S. District Court today to 24 months incarceration for her role in a conspiracy that created a blockade at a Washington, D.C. reproductive health care clinic to prevent the clinic from providing, and patients from receiving, reproductive health services.” the DOJ said in a press release earlier this month.

Judge Kotelly mocked Paula Harlow’s Christian faith when she sentenced her to prison as her husband begged for mercy expressing his fear his wife would die alone in prison.

The judge taunted the elderly woman and mocked her Christian faith and told her to honor the “tenets” of her religion and not die in jail.

Kotelly sentenced Harlow to 24 months in prison.

At the end of the hearing, Kotelly advised Harlow to honor the “tenets” of her religion and not die in jail.

Two other elderly defendants in their 70s were sentenced to more than 2 years in prison each.

Joan Bell, 76 was sentenced to 27 months in prison and three years of supervised release and Jean Marshall, 74, was sentenced to 24 months and three years of supervised release.

The FBI recently released 55-year-old documents regarding Native Americans occupying Alcatraz Island in 1969

The released files published in the FBI’s Vault revealed the inner communications of the FBI when over 200 Native Americans occupied Alcatraz island as a form of protest.

The occupation lasted for 19 months between the years 1969-1971.

The FBI, in its internal communications, stated that the Indians were “very friendly” and further wrote that ” the demonstration and occupation have been and continue to be peaceful.”

Shortly after the Indians were removed from the island, a group of Native Americans decided to occupy the inactive Nike nuclear site in San Pablo, California.

On page 23 of the FBI’s declassified file was an FBI memo explaining how the U.S. Army refused to participate in providing logistical support to the Chief of Police of Richmond as his department planned to make arrests.

The memo stated, “On June 15, 1971, Chief of Police, Richmond, California, advised the Indians at the Nike missile site were not arrested as planned because he had expected the U.S. Army would supply logistical support and have refused to do so.”

“Officials and local authorities of Richmond, California, are unhappy that they are being required to function alone,” the memo continued.

The FBI also noted, “The Chief of Police, Richmond, indicated on June 15, 1971, he may make a press release about the lack of cooperation of the military.”

The move by the U.S. Army to refuse to participate in the arrest of the protestors was a wise choice, considering the occupation came just one year after the Kent State shootings.

After the Indians were dispersed and arrested by local authorities for trespassing on the Nike missile site, the U.S. Army deployed sentries and secured the site.

A new congressional report has uncovered disturbing details about a research project conducted at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Daily Mail reported.

The investigation, spanning over 18 months, revealed a pattern of obstruction and misinformation by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the NIH, and NIAID regarding the transfer of genes between different strains of the Monkeypox virus.

According to the report, spearheaded by the Republican members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, NIAID scientists were found to have transferred genes between different clades of the Monkeypox virus, potentially enhancing its lethality and transmissibility.

According to the interim report:

The proposal to transfer genes from the deadlier clade I into the more transmissible clade II alarmed some scientists who believed a more potent version of the mpox outbreak strain could spark an epidemic that would be substantially more lethal.

In multiple letters and other communications, HHS and the NIH repeatedly told the Committee the most dangerous MPXV experiments had not been “formally proposed” or “planned,” had never been approved or conducted, and were not currently under consideration. The NIH also issued public statements making the same assertion and even forced Science magazine to issue a clarification for one article on the experiment.

HHS’s repeated assertions that the risky transfer of clade I material into clade Il virus experiment was never proposed or approved were false. Internal NIH documents show this experiment was formally proposed and received approval before the NIH’s Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) on June 30, 2015 seven years before the Committee first asked about the MPXV experiment. With the IBC’s approval, researchers could have conducted the proposed bidirectional experiment at any time after June 2015, until May 2023, when the approval was effectively revoked by the NIH (approximately seven months after the Committee’s initial letter that raised concerns about conducting the experiment described by Dr. Moss).

These infections are more transmissible but less severe and nearly 100 percent of people survive.

Investigators said this would be classified as gain-of-function, which is research that can result in deadlier and more transmissible viruses and is thought to be behind the creation of Covid-19.

It was estimated the new Mpox virus would have had a fatality rate of up to 15 percent and a reproductive rate of 2.4, meaning one sick person could infect more than two other people.

At this rate, the hybrid strain would have had pandemic potential.

New details about Senator John Fetterman’s recent car accident have emerged.

Democrat Senator John Fetterman (PA) and his wife Gisele Fetterman, were injured in a car crash Sunday morning in Maryland and transported to a nearby hospital.

According to reports, John Fetterman was driving and crashed his vehicle into the back of a Chevy Impala.

“According to a preliminary investigation, a Chevrolet Traverse and a Chevrolet Impala were both traveling west on I-70 when for unknown reasons, the Traverse struck the rear of the Impala,” Maryland State Police said in a statement.

“A passenger in the Traverse and the operator of the Impala were transported by ambulance to War Memorial Hospital in West Virginia for treatment of their injuries,” authorities said.

John Fetterman suffered a bruised shoulder.

Senator Fetterman and his wife were released from the hospital after treatment for minor injuries.

According to a Maryland State Police report, Senator Fetterman is ‘at fault’ for the car accident. The report stated that Fetterman was traveling “at a high rate of speed, well over the posted speed limit” when he slammed into the Chevy Impala.

The posted speed limit was 70 miles per hour and a witness said Fetterman flew by her at a high rate of speed!

Fetterman was NOT tested for drugs or alcohol. No citations were issued. Both vehicles involved in the accident were towed away.

USA Today reported:

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., was speeding and “at fault” for the car accident that landed him, his wife and another driver in the hospital on Sunday, according to a Maryland State Police report obtained by USA TODAY.

Fetterman, driving a Chevrolet Traverse, passed a witness on I-70 in northwest Maryland “at a high rate of speed, well over the posted speed limit” before rear ending a Chevrolet Impala around 7:45 a.m. near the exit to I-68, the six-page report said. The speed limit was 70 miles per hour.

Fetterman and the other driver were not tested for alcohol or substance use, the report said. No citations were given and an investigation is ongoing, according to a Maryland State Police statement to USA TODAY earlier this week. A spokesperson for Fetterman did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.

Both vehicles were towed from the site of the accident and Fetterman, his wife Gisele Fetterman, and the driver of the other car, a 62-year-old woman from Pennsylvania, were taken to War Memorial Hospital in West Virginia in ambulances.

Neil Cavuto, during his show on Fox News, read out a post from Trump where the President lambasted Ryan. “Rupert Murdoch should fire pathetic RINO Paul Ryan… Ryan is a loser, always has been, always will be,” Trump’s post read.

“I got death, taxes and weird stuff from Donald Trump—these are the three certainties in my life. So to me, it’s just another day in a life,” Ryan said.

The globalist RINO attributed his decision to withdraw support from Trump partially to the Jan. 6, 2021 protest at the Capitol.

Ryan, who has also ruled out voting for Joe Biden, plans instead to “write in a Republican” candidate:

At one point in the interview,  Ryan awkwardly responded to his unpopularity among pro-Trump Fox viewers and agreed that it was “the unspoken issue” between Rupert Murdoch and him. It was hilarious!

The former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy delivered a speech Wednesday at the Heritage Foundation to an audience of young professionals working in Washington, D.C. 

Notable attendees included Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), who gave an introduction for Ramaswamy, President of The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) Roger Ream, COO of TFAS Steve Slattery, and President of the Heritage Foundation Kevin Roberts. Over 300 Capitol Hill interns, an overflow crowd, attended the event.

The central question Ramaswamy sought to address was whether one could consider America a united nation in 2024. 

“Are we actually one nation or not?” he asked. “If I had asked that question 20 years ago, when I was in high school, when I was in college, when I was many of your ages, that would have been a silly question to ask. Of course, we were one nation.”

Ramaswamy argued that today the answer may be more complex. In a society plagued by social and political divisions, Americans are finding it more difficult than ever to come together in all aspects of their lives. Such a predicament threatens the future security of our country, according to Ramaswamy, and necessitates action from America’s younger generation, whom he implored to follow in the steps of our Founding Fathers to lead America.

Ramaswamy argued that, in order to win future elections and motivate voters, Republicans must become less reactionary and establish a concrete vision that they could convey to and actualize for their supporters. 

“What is that vision? What is the country that we are running to?” he asked.

Ramaswamy concluded by saying that it is necessary for the next generation to not be intimidated by what others may think when expressing their ideas. 

“Part of respect is that you respect your neighbor enough to tell him what you actually think,” he said. “If you’re willing to step up and do that, then I’m confident that our country’s best days can actually still be ahead of us.”

Lia Thomas, a transgender swimmer who created controversy during the 2022 season with a win at the NCAA championships, lost a legal battle over rules that prevented trans swimmers who have been through male puberty from competing in elite women’s events.

The Court for Arbitration of Sport dismissed Thomas’ request for arbitration with World Aquatics, according to a ruling released Wednesday. The governing body in swimming made its ruling in 2022, which essentially banned transgender swimmers from competing in female events. World Aquatics also created an “open” category for transgender athletes.

Thomas asked the Switzerland-based court to overturn the rules, saying they were invalid, unlawful and discriminatory.

“The panel concludes that she lacks standing to challenge the policy and the operational requirements in the framework of the present proceeding,” the court said in a ruling.

The three-judge panel said USA Swimming had no authority to “to modify such scope of application” of its rules.

Lia Thomas, a transgender UPenn swimmer who competed for two full seasons as a man before ‘transitioning’ into a female, shattered women’s records in Akron, Ohio in 2021.

Thomas also finished one of the races 38 seconds ahead of the woman who finished in second place.

The Victims of Communism Museum (VOC) Tuesday unveiled a new pop-up exhibit entitled, “Belene–A Bulgarian Resistance Story.” This effort was spearheaded by the Sofia Platform Foundation with support from the America for Bulgaria Foundation.

This experience provides visitors to the VOC with the unique opportunity to speak “with” Nikola Daskalov, a survivor of the Belene labor camp, through AI technology. By adapting over 120 hours of in-person interviews, the organizations have made it possible for museum visitors to sit in an interactive booth and ask Daskalov’s AI simulacrum questions about his experiences in the Bulgarian gulag, receiving answers in real time. 

The exhibit seeks to shed light on this dark period of Bulgarian communism, which is often ignored even in Bulgaria, where over 40 percent of the Soviet-era archives were destroyed.

Present at the event were the American ambassador to Bulgaria, Kenneth H. Merten, and the Bulgarian ambassador to the United States, Georgi Panayotov. Both spoke about their support for NATO, highlighting that this year marks the 20th anniversary of Bulgaria’s accession to the alliance. Panayotov also described Russia as a “menace” and a “threat” in the context of the current war in Ukraine.

Panayotov highlighted the patriotism of Bulgarian resistance against communism going back over a century, saying, ​​“Bulgaria was a democracy, even before the First World War. So we know what democracy is, we know what is to be free.” Panayotov also compared Bulgarian resistance to communism to Bulgarian resistance to the Ottomans, without mentioning that Bulgarian liberation was affected by the Russian Empire.

Merten acknowledged that “none of this would have been possible without the difficult but necessary transition some 35 years ago, and those courageous leaders and people who resisted the communist regime.”

The exhibit is open to the public until June 14, 2024 at the Victims of Communism Museum in Washington, D.C.
