FBI & PA State Police Refuse TGP Access to Trump Assassination Site & Locations

FBI Agents working hard to solve the case from their iPhones, on scene at the AGR Industries location in Butler, Pennsylvania

It has been several days since bullets rang out at last Saturday’s Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

America’s favorite President nearly lost his life and the last third of his skull, except for the last-second head movement by Trump that spared his life.

The FBI claims they know of no motive for the alleged shooter, Thomas Crooks, despite the fact they have full access to his phone, emails and other devices.

When a TGP reporter arrived on the scene to take photographs of the scene from a distance Tuesday, a mischief of FBI Agents were lingering around playing on their phones outside of the building where Thomas Crooks is alleged to have fired upon Trump, hitting his right ear, killing Corey Comperatore, who was heroically shielding his family, and wounding David Dutch and James Copenhaver, who are both now in stable condition.

A fundraiser for the families of the victims has raised over $5 million in four short days since the shooting.

A Pennsylvania State Police Officer came running over to the FBI Agents and could be overheard apologizing to the FBI for not stopping the TGP reporters driving onto the parking lot.

Corey Comperatore, a victim of the shooting

The Pennsylvania State Trooper deferred all on-site questions to the Public Affairs Officer at the Central Command Tent by the entrance to the Butler Air Farm. The Pennsylvania State Trooper guarding that entrance said that there was no Public Affairs Officer on-site, and would not be engaging with media at this time.

Media access to the scene and situation has been aggressively policed and controlled. Law enforcement has put yellow police tape all around the paved Butler airport runway and blocked all entrances to the site.

All local law enforcement is deferring all statements and requests to the State Police. The State Police are all deferring all statements and requests to the FBI. The FBI is refusing comment, through its Pittsburgh field office.

The FBI refuses to provide any access to the scene to TGP, and refuses to provide any photographs from the area or allow access to take such photographs.

Even after the case is ostensibly ‘solved’ and ‘closed’ it is common practice for federal law enforcement to deny open records requests as products of ongoing law enforcement investigations. And when forced to make disclosures, it is also common for federal law enforcement to redact any and all information in the released documents.

Meanwhile federal law enforcement, the FBI and Secret Service, are using compliant media by quietly blaming local law enforcement for supposed failures to protect the perimeter of the rally and failing to shoot the alleged sniper on the roof, to friendly mainstream media outlets.

The corrupt FBI has covered up for many other past shootings, and blurred the motives of many past shooters. The FBI has also chronically lied about cases involving political violence, including those involving Antifa.

The FBI Director even regurgitated Antifa’s talking points to Congress saying that it has no members, “it is just a position.” The FBI repeatedly claims there was no Antifa presence on January 6th, despite people like John Sullivan who clearly has Antifa ties. The common thread is that the FBI will lie and cover up evidence in order to protect one political ideology, and to hurt another.

Alleged Trump rally shooter Thomas Crooks, according to federal authorities

It seems increasingly unlikely that Thomas Crooks acted alone, or acted at all, to try and assassinate the President. There wasn’t the time and information to determine for Crooks to determine the proper shooting locations, and Crooks would benefit from repeated careless security protocols at the rally location. Crooks had no ability to direct the Secret Service to provide a clean line of sight to the President, and had no ability to change the security protocols protecting Trump.

This all suggests that the official story that Crooks, a registered Republican nursing home attendant suddenly, one day, with no prior warning and zero social statement or manifesto, drove an hour out of his way to kill the nation’s Presidential candidate at the most politically opportune time, when left-wing billionaires were publicly lamenting their inability to talk Biden out of dropping out of the Presidential race, is a false narrative propped up by federal interference in the public’s ability to unveil the truth.

‘The Final Straw’: Elon Musk Confirms SpaceX and Twitter/X Are Leaving California For Texas

Elon Musk has announced that SpaceX and Twitter/X will move their respective headquarters from California to Texas.

Posting on the X platform, Musk said that the passage of a California law that bans schools from making rules requiring parental notification if a child identifies as transgender was the “final straw” and he would be moving the company out of the state.

“This is the final straw,” Musk wrote. “Because of this law and the many others that preceded it, attacking both families and companies, SpaceX will now move its HQ from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas.”

“I did make it clear to Governor Newsom about a year ago that laws of this nature would force families and companies to leave California to protect their children,” he later followed up.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott was understandably delighted by the move, which will bring thousands of jobs to the Austin area.

“[Elon Musk] announces the move of SpaceX headquarters to the great state of Texas,” Abbott wrote. “This cements Texas as the leader in space exploration.”

Musk’s decision comes days after he officially endorsed Donald Trump’s presidential campaign following the assassination attempt against him. He also indicated he was happy with Trump’s choice of running mate J.D. Vance.

TGP Photos: Trump Butler, PA Rally Part Two-After

President Trump took the stage just after 6 p.m. at his Butler, Pennsylvania rally on Saturday. An hour late, but he was in a good mood and so were the tens of thousands who had waited in the 90 degree heat of a sunny summer day.

Only a few attendees on the far left side of the crowd had a sense something was wrong. Everyone else, including Trump, was unaware a gunman had been seen crawling on the roof of a building just outside the fence line stage right soon after Trump had taken the stage to Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the U.S.A.

A woman on a camera riser partially blocks the view of a jumbo TV screen at the Trump rally in Butler, PA, July 13, 2024.

A few minutes into his speech, Trump called an adlib and asked for a chart on illegal immigration to be posted on the giant TV screens above the bleachers on either side of the stage. The chart appeared and he started explaining it, turning to look at it as he spoke.

Several loud popping noises were heard, then a burst of popping noises and after a long pause, one last pop. All the pops came from the left front from where I stood. At the same time the hydraulic lines in a lift holding up a speaker column blew out, noisily spewing a large plume of fluid. From my vantage point to the right of the stage but about a hundred and thirty feet back, the noise was either gunfire or the hydraulics blowing out, but likely gunfire that caused the hydraulics to blow out. I did not see Trump get hit and go down. Most attendees did not either as the TV screens still had the immigration charts displayed. It’s my belief that not seeing Trump hit and then falling kept the crowd far back from the stage from panicking.

I took video immediately after the gunfire burst stopped. The last shot can be heard in the distance a few seconds in. Most people stayed. There was no stampede even as some made their way to leave. After a minute or so, a loud cheer erupted from the bleachers around the stage followed by chants of “USA! USA! USA!” Word soon got back to those of us in the rear that Trump had stood up, had blood on his right ear and had raised his fist. It appeared he was okay but we couldn’t be sure. We did not know about the others who had been hit and seriously (one fatally) wounded until later.

If I had not been caught in a two-hour traffic backup to get into the rally, I would have been in the press pen at my usual post in the center of the fencing in front snapping close-up photos of Trump and the crowd in the bleachers around him. “The Daily Show” Cancels Plans to Film at Republican National Convention

In a controversial decision, “The Daily Show” has canceled its plans to film at the upcoming Republican National Convention (RNC). The show’s producers cited concerns over safety and the political climate, sparking outrage among conservatives who view this as another example of liberal media bias.

The RNC, set to take place in Milwaukee, is a critical event for the GOP as it gears up for the 2024 presidential election. “The Daily Show,” known for its satirical take on politics, has traditionally covered both Democratic and Republican conventions, often highlighting the contrast between the two parties.

https://x.com/IndieWire/status/1812849333588426901

Conservative commentators argue that the cancellation reflects a broader trend of media hostility towards conservative viewpoints. They contend that “The Daily Show” and other left-leaning outlets are increasingly unwilling to engage with or understand conservative perspectives, opting instead to create an echo chamber for liberal ideologies.

The show’s decision not to cover the RNC comes amidst a backdrop of heightened political polarization. Many Republicans feel that their voices are being marginalized by mainstream media, leading to growing distrust and calls for more balanced coverage.

https://x.com/pajiba/status/1812654083070939303

Supporters of “The Daily Show” argue that the decision was made purely out of concern for the safety of the show’s crew, citing recent incidents of violence and threats against journalists. However, critics remain skeptical, seeing it as a convenient excuse to avoid covering an event that might challenge the show’s liberal narrative.

The RNC organizers have expressed disappointment over the cancellation, emphasizing their commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for all media outlets. They argue that “The Daily Show’s” presence could have fostered important political discourse and offered viewers a unique perspective on the convention.

As the 2024 election approaches, the decision by “The Daily Show” highlights the ongoing challenges in bridging the divide between conservative and liberal media. The cancellation underscores the need for open dialogue and mutual understanding in an increasingly fractured political landscape.

While “The Daily Show” may have opted out of the RNC, the event is expected to draw significant attention from other media outlets. The GOP aims to use the convention to solidify its platform and rally support, hoping to present a unified front heading into the critical election season.

STONE COLD SILENCE: Journalist Savanah Hernandez Confronts CNN Hosts on Why They Covered Up Biden’s Dementia (VIDEO)

CNN journalists are rarely held to account on their own network, which generally means they can only be challenged in public.

Journalist Savanah Hernandez confronted all the CNN hosts attending the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, asking them questions as to why they tried to cover up Biden’s cognitive decline.

The footage uploaded to the X platform shows hosts Chris Wallace, Dana Bash, and Jake Tapper leaving the convention center.

“I was just wondering, you guys refused to report on the incompetence of Joe Biden, and I was just wondering whether you were told not to report on that or if you guys were really that ignorant,” Hernandez asked.

“The entire American public was able to see that Joe Biden was grossly incompetent and has been in cognitive decline for a long time; however, you guys only just started reporting this.”

Her questions were met with stone cold silence, while the team’s security guards attempted to push her out the way.

Watch the clip below:

I just confronted the entire CNN team about why they only started reporting about the cognitive decline of Joe Biden last month when the entire nation could see it for years

Earlier on in the day,  Hernandez also confronted NBC host Kristen Welker with similar questions about her network’s reporting and the look on her face was priceless.

Biden’s cognitive decline became a question of widespread media speculation following his disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump last month, even though left-wing networks such as CNN attempted to cover it up.

Despite numerous calls for him to step aside, Biden has repeatedly refused to do so, insisting that he is the only man who can defeat Trump in November.

Trump Assassination: Security Left the Gates Wide Open, Anyone & Anything Could have Gotten In (VIDEO INTERVIEW)

Jim Hulings is the Butler County GOP Chair. He had only recently been elected to the volunteer position when, on Saturday, he found himself in the VIP section of the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, as shots rang out during the nation’s most recent presidential assassination.

“It was the worst moment of my life, to think that President Trump had come here, to Butler, and was being killed in front of us. I just couldn’t believe it.

And that was then matched by the greatest moment possible when Trump emerged, bloody but triumphant, and told us to fight! It was the greatest feeling to see that in person, and thank God they didn’t kill our President,” Hulings said.

“We did not run, they had to tell us to leave,” he added.

“When they opened up (security) at 1:00PM, they let the General Admission people go. We had to go through the checkpoint, we had to go through the magnetometers, and we had to turn over things that weren’t on the list. Umbrellas, chairs. The General Admission… I don’t think there was any security there… We were going through one at a time, they went down 30-40 at a time… I’m thinking… that doesn’t seem very secure to me because they didn’t check those people.”

Hulings said he felt the security at the event was “bizarre” because it closely searched and inspected some in the crowd, but let others in with no security whatsoever.

Hulings said he could not see the normal detachments of snipers throughout the rally.

“The security at the event, however, was letting people into the event without any screening and I knew that that was a major security lapse. Someone could have gotten a gun into the event very easily.”

What Hulings is describing is that Trump rallies typically have two entrances: general admission and expedited entry, which is typically for elected officials and others.

Both groups are subject to the same security screenings, including metal detectors and pat downs, to ensure that nothing is brought in that might be dangerous to the President or attendees. But what Hulings explains is that security in Butler, Pennsylvania let in at least hundreds of General Admission attendees with no screening.

“They found a money clip in my pocket that I didn’t even know I had,” said Hulings. But then I saw people in the General Admission line who were being let in without any screening whatsoever. We were at the front of the expedited entry line, and by the time we got through security there were already hundreds who were down there from general admission. They were just letting them all in.”

The U.S. Secret Service has received the brunt of public criticism about their handling of security at Butler. The criticism has blamed the Secret Service for allowing a situation to develop where a potential shooter had the ability to take a shot at a President. But what Hulings and others tell the Gateway Pundit is that the security failures were more systemic than just with the Secret Service.

WATCH THE TGP INTERVIEW WITH JIM HULINGS BELOW:

These statements by Hulings match separate but similar security failures observed by Lori Levi that allowed an impermissible “line of sight” to Trump at Butler, unlike any other Trump rally. This ‘line of sight’ allowed an unbroken line for a sniper to get a clear shot. At past rallies, Levi has told the Gateway Pundit, obstructions were always placed in the way of such lines-of-sight to prevent the ability of long-range assassin shots.

Hulings relates that he has given almost non-stop interviews about the Trump assassination, and that requests from the media came in before he got in his car after the incident.

“By the time I was walking up to my car after leaving the rally, I was already getting calls from the New York Times and the New York Post and even People magazine. Later I received multiple calls from CNN, but I let them know very clearly that I would never, ever, speak to them because they are fakenews but I enjoyed that they kept calling so I could keep telling them that.”

Hulings claims he heard three shots, while other sources claim 8–10 were fired.

David vs. Goliath Election Case Update: Colorado Secretary of State Redacts Exculpatory Evidence and “Civil Rights” NGOs’ Attorneys Coached a Witness

Leftist NGO Free Speech For People, founded by John Bonifaz, is spearheading the legal battle against Colorado Grassroots organization

Yesterday, The Gateway Pundit reported on the beginning of a little-known election case where well-funded non-governmental organizations (NGOs) were suing grassroots activists over voter canvassing efforts in Colorado to ensure accurate voter information following the 2020 election.

David vs. Goliath – an NAACP Faction Faces Off Against Grassroots Canvassers in an Election Case Few Know About

The case was brought by the Colorado NAACP, the League of Women Voters, and Mi Familia Vota as plaintiffs represented by a slew of attorneys led by Amy Erickson, all from Free Speech For People, an organization founded by John Bonifaz, the founder and former executive direct of the National Voting Rights Institute.

Day 2 wrapped up yesterday with the Free Speech For People legal team finally calling their one and only witness to the “voter intimidation” this lawsuit was based upon.

The Legal Director for Free Speech For People, Courtney Hostetler, called Yvette Roberts from Mesa County, CO to the stand.  Roberts is so-far the only witness presented by plaintiffs that claims to have been intimidated from the canvassing organized by the USEIP, as alleged in the lawsuit.

This testimony was such a disaster for Hostetler, Erickson and the rest of the Free Speech for People legal team that the judge had to interrupt questioning to ask the gallery to refrain from laughing at one point.

On June 23, 2021, Roberts filed a complaint with local authorities claiming that she was intimidated by a man and a woman who came to her door earlier that day to ask her questions about the 2020 election.

The older man, apparently around 60 years of age, was intimidating to an old lady, however, much younger solicitors selling solar panels and other goods coming to her door were not, as she would testify to.

Roberts originally stated in her complaint to law enforcement that the man and woman canvassing her neighborhood had “homemade looking badges,” however, during testimony today, she stated that the badges were “official looking.”

She stated they didn’t have any seals or emblems on them to distinguish them as Secretary of State’s office or any other governmental entities and looked to come from “an office supply store.”

Roberts opened her front door to the canvassers and willfully answered their questions, none of which invaded the privacy of her secret ballot (who she voted for) according to testimony.

In the previous article, The Gateway Pundit discussed the questions asked by USEIP canvassers.  Roberts ultimately testified that the canvassers did, in fact, stick to that script.

However, during testimony today, but never before previously in any statements or declarations, Roberts claimed the man at some point  randomly said, “Republicans!” in an unknown context.  Roberts couldn’t remember at what point in the questioning he made the assertion to a political party.

It’s worth noting the canvassers that came to her door, as testified to earlier in the case, were not USEIP canvassers as USEIP did not canvass in Mesa County where she lived, according to testimony from defendants Colonel Shawn Smith and Ashe Epp.

After asking questions that seemed to be personal, Roberts assumed that the male canvasser had a voter roll, which is publicly available, and that was “fine and dandy” with her.  She also testified that they wanted to impress her by looking official based off “their stance and how he held his clipboard.”  Whatever that means.

After answering several questions, she was asked how she submitted her ballot (by mail, dropbox, or in person). Roberts said she grew uncomfortable at that point and asked the canvassers to leave.  And so they left without question.

She alleged that they walked away talking to one another but had no idea what they were saying.  This apparently concerned her.  She watched them turn the corner at her property before returning to her normal activities.

Roberts felt something was wrong with this confrontation, so she called the local authorities so that others wouldn’t be subjected to the same experience.  The sheriff responded, made a report, investigated, and found no criminal activity in what the canvassers were doing.

During earlier testimony from Deputy Secretary of State Michael Beall, pro se defendant Ashe Epp revealed that the Secretary of State’s Office had redacted this critical information from emails obtained through discovery and open records request.  Beall had testified just moments earlier that, regarding CORA (Colorado Open Records requests), “the buck stopped with [him].”

Not trusting the redactions from the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office, Epp also did a CORA request with the Mesa County District Attorney for the same exact documents.

The Mesa DA’s office, fortunately, did not redact most of the parts the Secretary of State’s Office did, which revealed that exculpatory evidence had been hidden unnecessarily under those little black boxes.

Why was this critical information that would have exonerated all three defendants redacted by the Secretary of State?  This is a massive violation of the public trust and possibly a criminal conspiracy to withhold exculpatory information from defendants in a civil proceeding.

Later during questioning, counsel for Defendants asked how Roberts concluded it was the USEIP that was canvassing her home, which she stated definitely in her sworn declaration.

This is where the bomb dropped.

Roberts claimed it was plaintiff’s counsel who informed her it had to be the USEIP.  Roberts had never heard of the USEIP prior to that consultation. USEIP did not canvass in her county, as was repeatedly stated throughout the case.

Why did counsel from Free Speech For People coach their witness into believing that USEIP was the culprit?

Furthermore, Roberts added in her declaration, the same declaration she was coached into saying it was USEIP that canvassed her, that she was “half Native American.”

This was omitted from her initial statements and reports.  Why would organizations like the NAACP, Mi Familia Vota and the League of Women Voters want a minority status attached to a witness?

Before Epp began her cross-examination (the last of the defendants), the judge told her that she had heard enough and that she didn’t have to question her, but that she was free to do so if she chose to.

This afternoon, the Colorado League of Women Voters Executive Director was testifying.  Tomorrow’s write-up will cover her extraordinary testimony in full.

TRUMP ASSASSINATION: Pro-Trump Mayor Who Shielded Pregnant Wife, Criticizes Security Lapses During Assassination Attempt

Mayor of Slippery Rock, PA, and Marine Jondavid Longo spoke with the Gateway Pundit about the attempted assassination of President Trump on July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“I covered my wife up, who I just recently found out was pregnant. And I started scanning behind me because I wasn’t quite sure where those rounds were coming from. I just knew they were coming from behind us because the rounds were going right over us,” Mayor Longo said.

“Through the bleachers. But in the direction of the President. At first, I thought, God forbid, someone seated behind us with a gun. That sound, that I recognized, didn’t sound like it was coming from a concealed pistol. Rather, it sounded like something that was coming from a long distance. You can kind of hear that whiz.”

Mayor Longo only heard three gunshots from the gunman.

“I only for certain heard three gunshots from the gunman.”

“Despite being a Marine, and being in combat situations, when you’re at home, and keep in mind I’ve been home since 2011, was the last time I was in Afghanistan, so, I’m still vigilant and still cautious I’d like to think but the fact is that you’re not primed in that moment, when you’re at home and at a rally like this and Donald J. Trump and a bunch of other members of government are in attendance, you just don’t think that that could have been a possibility in 2024, and in Butler County, which is this staunch-red conservative County that adores Donald Trump.”

Mayor Longo also witnessed the aftermath of the murder of Corey Comperatore.

Longo says that the crowd was remarkably calm under fire.

“We all tried to do our part. I didn’t do anything special, I did what any father or husband would do in that situation and in that time.”

“When President Trump stood back up again, it was a weird set of emotions, it was pure elation in that moment. It was relief. Thank God they didn’t kill him. It was inspirational. He wrangled his arms from the Secret Service.”

“It was triumphant defiance.”

Former President Donald Trump after being shot at a Pennsylvania rally in July, 2024.

Trump was last in Butler on Halloween 2020, October 31, 2020.

In 2020, the Trump Rally took different security measures than what was in place in 2024, according to Mayor Longo. The security in 2020 was in a more secured area.

“At the Butler Airport in 2020, the venue was a lot more closed off, there were a lot of airplane hangars around us. There were law enforcement agents and Secret Service agents, and I remember teams on every one of the hangars around us. All of the buildings were covered. If you compare that to the Butler Air Show in 2024, we’re out in the middle of the field. Lots of openness. It was a very open venue. Driving into the place, you saw a lot of police officers, Secret Service, and orderly attendees. Everyone thought that there’s no way this could be gunfire. How could anyone get to a point where you could fire into this venue…”

BLUEANON Conspiracy: Democrats Accuse Trump of Staging His Own Assassination Attempt — Claim Trump Uses ‘Fake Blood’ with the Help of Secret Service

Members of the Democrat Party, who are clearly suffering from severe TDS and are victims of fake news propaganda, have accused President Trump of staging his own assassination attempt.

Conservative content creator and political commentator James Klug recently visited Huntington Beach, California to gather public opinion on this contentious issue.

The assassination attempt, which tragically resulted in the death of one Trump supporter and left two others critically injured, has stirred a hornet’s nest of conspiracy theories.

Some Blueanon insists that the incident was a ‘false flag,’ alleging that Trump himself orchestrated it to garner sympathy and political support.

Among the respondents was an older Democrat:

Old Dem with TDS: I thought it was magnificently staged. It was professionally done. It almost looked real.

James Klug: Wait, staged by who?

Old Dem: Oh, by Mr. Trump, of course.

James Klug: So you just thought it was fake?

Old Dem: Of course.

James Klug: One person died in the crowd, two critically injured. What happened there?

Old Dem: We had a small price… It wouldn’t matter to Trump. Do you think he cares if people die for him to be elected? Death doesn’t mean anything to Trump.

James Klug: What is our evidence for suggesting that it was a staged, a fake assassination attempt?

Old Dem: I think that he walked away alive with perhaps a scratch on his ear at most… Of course, behind the scenes, that was fabricated… some noise. They put a little scratch on his ear, threw a little blood on his face.

James Klug: Now, so you think that they planned from 130 yards away to shoot off the corner of his ear?

Old Dem: They never shot off the corner of his ear. That was all done by the people hanging around him. Nobody ever shot off his ear.

James Klug: If we’re not paying attention, is the right move to say that Donald Trump staged the assassination and faked an assassination against himself? Is that the right move or is the right move just to say, I don’t know?

Old Dem: Oh, well, you’re against the fake news, Donald. How about against all this other fake crap that you pulled? If Trump is involved, it’s a fraud.

James Klug: What are your thoughts about those people? Were they foolish for believing that this is a real assassination attempt? Were they foolish?

Old Dem:  A lot of people were originally fooled by Donald Trump. Yeah, they’re foolish.

WATCH:

BLUEANON: A shocking amount of Dems are fully on board with “Trump staged the assassination”, blaming him for casualties at the rally.

Is This the Reason Why Trump Chose J.D. Vance for His Vice Prez?

The key to any politician’s mindset is to understand that, first and foremost, they seek to stay in power. They want to get elected. If they are elected, they want to get re-elected. This is the central thesis of the political science classic, “The Electoral Connection” by David Mayhew.

Former President Richard Nixon summed this up well when he said, “Losers don’t legislate.”

For Trump to win in 2024, not only does he need to overcome the overwhelming media bias from the fakenews complex, but he is also battling various deep state forces organizing against him. Those deep state forces are willing to lie, cheat, and steal in elections in order to defeat him. The selection of Ohio Senator J.D. Vance makes a lot of sense from Trump’s electoral needs, and the deficits of the other options for Vice President become more clear.

J.D. Vance helps Trump in key states, with a key constituency, that is also key to winning national elections again for Republicans: disaffected white voters.

Trump published a list of his preferred picks as Vice President. The list included:

Florida Senator Marco Rubio, age 53
North Dakota Governor Doug Burghum, age 69
Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, age 39
South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, age 58
New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, age 40
Dr. Ben Carson, age 72
Florida Congressman Byron Donalds, age 45

Trump has publicly said that he wanted to choose someone who could obviously take the reigns of the government and the nation in the case of a crisis. Privately, Trump has said that he did not want someone who was going to seek the limelight and overshadow Trump.

The experience and lessons learned from traitor Mike Pence seem unclear. It’s obvious now that Pence was busily undermining Trump and the Trump agenda from the start, and Pence was always, quietly, working his own separate agenda from the first Trump administration.

Yet many still expected Pence as Vice President to do the right thing when the moment came to challenge the votes and the voting process used in the stolen 2020 election. Instead, Pence chose to validate and affirm the deep state.

Pence as a 2024 Presidential candidate had been pathetic and low energy, and he dropped out after 143 days, lasting only from June 7 through October 28, 2023.

The shift in choosing Vice Presidents matches a shift in the Republican Party about how to win national elections. In 2000, George W. Bush ran as a solid conservative except on a ‘humble foreign policy’ and on school choice.

No Republican won a national election again, except for Bush’s 2004 re-election, until Trump won in 2016. Trump’s win was despite the conventional wisdom among the consultant class in Washington. Trump took a signature issue loved by the grassroots but loathed by the beltway establishment, immigration restriction, and made it a winning issue.

In doing so, Trump tapped into the base of the party. The left decried this as racism. The left wants Republicans to campaign as moderate liberals. The left tries to reduce every candidate and cause to simply their racial class or economic class.

The left assumes that simply running a black candidate means that blacks will largely vote for that person. The left assumes that running someone with a life story of poverty, will cause poor people to vote for that person.

J.D. Vance, then, by a left-wing analysis of how people vote, would appeal to younger individuals in Ohio who are white and in racially-mixed marriages.

By a left-wing analysis, the various candidates considered for Vice President were geographically useless because none were from a true battleground state that is likely to be competitive in 2024. Several of the candidates were black, which might appeal to black voters, but is not a surefire way to win the black vote due to a variety of factors.

In addition, research shows that Republicans would have to substantially win more of the black vote in order to shift election results, whereas the GOP needs to only shift a few points of the white vote in order to win many more elections.

The surprising conclusion is that unreliable white voters, who do not reliably support the Republican Party, are the greatest source of political opportunity.

This was team Trump’s great realization and mobilization in 2016 to defeat Crooked Hillary: speak to issues that matter to rust belt white Americans. This is a population that has real political problems and who are ignored by both parties.

In 2016 Trump only won 54% of the white vote, but the media makes it seem as though the parties are completely racially polarized.

The media completely confuses elected Republicans about who the Republican base really is, and where it could come from. Various data visualizations over the past decade have further illustrated that there are viable paths forward for a Trump-like candidate for Republicans nationwide, but that the era of RINO Republicans winning with Bush-family-approved low-energy messages is over.

In addition, in the electoral college, the biggest source of these disaffected whites are in the rust belt states. These disaffected whites are hated by progressives, constantly mocked and ridiculed and otherwise abused by left-wing thinkers and left-wing politicians.

To the extent they are tolerated, they are simply ATM’s for low-dollar Democratic causes and a constituency of dying unions who are continually taken for granted by Democrat politicians.

As well, the party’s endless outreach to minorities risks alienating dispossessed and demoralized whites who are constantly ridiculed and race-shamed by the media.

Feeling that the Republican Party is even abandoning at least a position of race-neutrality in favor of endless race favoritism and pandering to minorities risks pushing away whites who are simply tired of radical left-wing racial politics infecting every aspect of their lives.

Trump, a savvy businessman, clearly sees the opportunity to take the key to national elections away from Democrats by choosing someone who can uniquely relate to, and connect with, the struggles of Americans in rust belt states like Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Minnesota.

The main disadvantages to Senator Vance, in that he was young and had previously made anti-Trump comments, in addition to mishandling several policy issues such as vaccines and the Ukraine, were minor in comparison to the negatives for Trump’s other choices.

The other candidates offered no serious advantages, and many had serious disadvantages.

Senator Marco Rubio had been a Trump-hater in 2016, and was the originator of the weak attempt in 2016 to say Trump had “tiny hands” which was a Jeb-tier dig at Trump’s sexual prowess.

But over time, the two had warmed to one another, with Trump endorsing Rubio’s re-election in 2022. But Rubio was not especially popular among Hispanics, he was not key to any state, he was not seen as an especially prolific fundraiser. Rubio had no serious strong positives agitating in his favor as a Vice Presidential choice, and his prior betrayals of the Trump base would have been a complication.

Mega RINO Karl Rove, the architect of Republican electoral failure for the last 25 years by repeatedly screwing over the conservative base of the party, heavily pushed Doug Burgum of North Dakota.

Burgum was seen by many in the grassroots as a man made a billionaire by Microsoft and Bill Gates buying his company. His record in North Dakota was not inspiring, and his experience clearly made it seem like he was akin to Mitt Romney and felt entitled to elected office by simply paying for it.

Senator Tim Scott is a consistent conservative voice in the Senate, but he has not had a prominent opportunity to get a bigger platform. It was also notable that, at age 57, Scott was still unmarried until getting engaged for a wedding next month.

Sen. Scott has a good voting record, according to Heritage Action, but not a solidly consistent conservative one. Scott also opposed the Trump agenda on a variety of signature issues, which is hard to reconcile and hard to justify to the grassroots base of the party.

Cong. Elise Stefanik was a reliable defender of the President in his faked impeachment trials, but that is counterbalanced by her time spent with the George W. Bush White House, and also working in a senior role with cryptoRINO Paul Ryan. Stefanik was appealing for the long-tail chance that Trump could win his home state of New York, but that is practically impossible.

Dr. Ben Carson is a smart and capable manager, who did a great job running Trump’s Housing and Urban Development Office in the first term. But Dr. Carson is also aged, and while he has an inspiring personal story about becoming a neurosurgeon, isn’t seen as bringing a great deal of votes, white or black. Dr. Carson’s story is an American success story, but unfortunately it isn’t seen as an especially resonant one among black Americans.

Cong. Byron Donalds is 45 years old, and has been in Congress for three years. His past includes involvement in finance and banking. Donalds is a great emerging leader, but he’s also relatively unknown and lacks the specific credit for accomplishments, legislation, elections, or achievements, to make him more viable as a national contender. His geographical base in Florida, as well, provides no big clear benefit to the Trump campaign.

Trump was faced with a variety of good options. Some of the candidates for Vice President had other strengths and weaknesses, but none were as clearly positive and resonant with the coalition Trump needs to win America. The opportunity for these emerging leaders on the right to develop the name and notoriety needed to be contenders in the future is also obvious.
