Democrat Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes has brazenly declared that he will not cooperate with federal government efforts to secure elections and prevent illegal aliens from voting. 

“I would tell them to go to hell,” he said when asked whether or not he would hand over publicly available voter registration data to the Department of Government Efficiency and the Department of Homeland Security to verify the citizenship of voters.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump signed an executive order earlier this week, mandating voter ID and documentary proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections, auditing and improving the security of voting machines, and ordering the DOJ to enforce the law against states that count mail-in ballots received after Election Day. The order also prioritizes the enforcement of laws preventing foreign money from influencing elections and federally funded organizations from lobbying or supporting candidates.

The section, titled Enforcing the Citizenship Requirement for Federal Elections, includes a provision that “the Department of Homeland Security, in coordination with the DOGE Administrator, shall review each State’s publicly available voter registration list and available records concerning voter list maintenance activities as required by 52 U.S.C. 20507, alongside Federal immigration databases and State records requested, including through subpoena where necessary and authorized by law, for consistency with Federal requirements.”

However, Fontes says he will not give any voter information, indicating that subpoenas may be necessary to obtain the records.

When asked about the incoming DOGE voter roll audit, Fontes launched into a tirade about defending democracy. Meanwhile, he intends to stonewall the duly elected President who won an electoral college landslide and the popular vote—all to preserve illegal voting in Arizona. It should also be noted that the people of Arizona overwhelmingly voted for President Trump and his agenda.

It can be recalled that Fontes oversaw the stolen 2020 election in Maricopa County, Arizona, as the county’s top election official, Maricopa County Recorder. He then ran for Secretary of State in the stolen 2022 election, where 60% of voting machines failed on election day, disenfranchising tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of in-person GOP voters.

Fontes sat for an interview with Scripps News reporter Elizabeth Landers to respond to the new law this week and portrayed himself as “absolutely harsh in protection of my voters.”

Landers: If DOGE came to you in your office and asked you to hand over voter rolls/voter information, would you do that? Would you turn over anything to DOGE and to Elon Musk’s team?

Fontes: I would tell them to go to hell. There’s no way in the world that I’m going to turn my voter information over to a non-elected bureaucrat who has no legal authority to have possession of that personal identifying information of Arizona’s voters. I will protect and defend every voter in Arizona, whether they’re of my party or not. This is far too important for the perpetuation of this republic. This is way too important for the nature of our society.

Our democracy is the bedrock of everything that we have in benefit as American citizens. We cannot bend on this one we, you know, might have disagreements on trade policy. We might have disagreements when it comes to other sorts of things like the environment or education. These are spaces where I think some reasonable debate can be had. But when it comes to protecting and defending our democracy, I will be absolutely vigilant, and I will be absolutely harsh in protection of my voters.

A federal Judge in New York has halted the White House and US Agency for Global Media (USAGM) advisor Kari Lake’s efforts to deliver government efficiency to the leftwing agency that oversees the government’s international broadcaster, Voice of America.

Obama appointee James Paul Oetken was the first openly gay man to be confirmed as a federal judge in 2011. Earlier this week, he dismissed racketeering allegations in a $30 million sexual assault lawsuit against rapper P. Diddy involving allegations of sexual assault, harassment, and sex trafficking.

On Friday, he granted a temporary restraining order, enjoining them from implementing the President’s March 14 executive order, titled “Continuing the Reduction of the Federal Bureaucracy.”

This comes after a lawsuit by from six leftist VOA reporters backed by Reporters Without Borders and several labor unions, who alleged First Amendment violations over attempts to dismantle the broadcasting agency by firing current staff members.

According to the New York Times, “A separate lawsuit, brought by the director of Voice of America, Michael Abramowitz, is also pending.”

Does it make any sense that a single district court judge, one out of 677 across the nation, can dictate the President’s policy or the executive branch’s HR department based on his own radical views?

Will the judge go through the job applications and interview the candidates? Will he also do the firing and disciplinary actions?

Kari Lake responded to the order, telling The Gateway Pundit, “As we try to effectuate President Trump’s executive order involving our agency, the US Agency for Global Media, Judges in the DC District Court and the District Court of NY are saying they get to run the Executive Branch.”

“This is the true ‘threat to Democracy’ we have been hearing so much about,” she added.

President Trump, in response to a different case on Thursday, slammed the “broken” and “rigged” court system, calling Washington, DC, and New York, where the VOA case was filed, “the most preeminent of all in their Corruption and Radicalism.”

Lake told The Gateway Pundit she agrees with the President. “DC and NY are the worst,” Lake said. “These judges were not elected by We the People. President Trump was.”

On Friday, Lake sent out a mass email to USAGM employees offering a “fork in the road” deferred resignation buyout. This came after she issued reduction-in-force notifications to government worker unions, putting them on notice that mass firings were pending.

In a dramatic turn of events at one of America’s most elite universities, Columbia University’s interim president Katrina Armstrong has resigned, marking the second leadership shake-up at the Ivy League school in under a year.

The move comes as Columbia faces mounting pressure from the Trump administration over campus antisemitism, federal funding, and controversial protest policies. Stepping into the role as acting president is Claire Shipman — a longtime liberal journalist, elite insider, and wife of former Obama press secretary Jay Carney.

Columbia has been the epicenter of far-left views and organizing efforts to hurt Israeli interests and, many Jewish groups claim, target Jews nationwide for violence.

Protesters last May had said “Zionists don’t deserve to live” and their protest movement was spreading nationwide. The protester organizers blamed Israel for the Oct. 7th attacks.

Protest leaders asked to be thanked for not going out and killing Jews.

Three Columbia Deans had to resign last year because of anti-Jewish messages.

Many wealthy Jews, several worth billions, announced that they were subsequently pulling donations from Columbia.

President Trump also used the power of the Presidency to ensure that $400 million in federal funding was at risk unless Columbia addressed the Anti-Semitism of its students, faculty, and staff.

That demand is causing the college’s administration to collapse, again.

The resignation of Armstrong, who had served as interim president since former president Minouche Shafik stepped down in 2024, follows a contentious back-and-forth with the federal government over campus unrest. In recent months, Columbia has been accused of turning a blind eye to rising antisemitism, disorderly protests, and escalating threats against Jewish students — triggering a firm response from President Trump’s Department of Education.

The Trump administration had threatened to pull more than $400 million in federal funding unless Columbia implemented strict reforms.

Among the demands from Trump to Columbia:

an end to campus policies that allegedly allowed masked protestors to intimidate and disrupt,
enforcement of civil rights protections, and
clear consequences for student groups promoting so-called “hate speech.”

Detractors of President Trump’s initiatives have suggested that these efforts are an affront to free speech protections. Columbia is a private college, however, so it is not under the same free speech requirements as other colleges.

Additionally, respected free speech groups indicate that Columbia has an awful track record at protecting campus free speech. The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education says that Columbia regularly ranks second-to-last in protecting campus speech, in the organization’s 2025 College Free Speech Rankings.

Columbia doesn’t allow free speech, it punishes conservatives, it promotes far-left views, and it specifically encourages and amplifies far-left violent rhetoric against Jewish students.

After weeks of internal turmoil and widespread criticism of Armstrong’s handling of the situation, Columbia’s Board of Trustees reportedly agreed to the federal demands from President Trump — including a full ban on masks at protests and a restructuring of how student groups are supervised and funded.

Armstrong, who also serves as the CEO of Columbia University Irving Medical Center, quietly announced she would step down and return to her former position.

Stepping in as acting president is Claire Shipman, a longtime Columbia trustee since 2013 with deep connections to the Democratic political machine. Shipman is a former ABC News and CNN correspondent and has served on Columbia’s Board of Trustees since 2013, including as co-chair since 2023. She holds degrees from both Columbia College and Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs.

Shipman is the co-author of three books: Womenomics (2009), The Confidence Code (2014), and The Confidence Code for Girls (2018).

Shipman is married to Jay Carney, the former White House press secretary under Barack Obama, and has long been a fixture in elite media and academic circles. Critics are already questioning whether her elevation to the presidency is an ideological doubling-down rather than an effort to de-politicize the university’s leadership.

Shipman is now tasked with leading Columbia through what may be the most politically fraught period in its modern history. Under pressure from alumni, donors, federal officials, and student activists from both the right and left, the university is at a crossroads. With a growing number of parents and taxpayers demanding accountability for elite institutions, Columbia’s leadership crisis may only be a preview of what’s coming for the rest of the Ivy League.

Historically, Columbia has produced far-left radicals. Among its most infamous alumnae is Elizabeth Bentley, a former Soviet courier who studied at Columbia before becoming a key figure in Soviet espionage in the United States. Known as the “Red Spy Queen,” Bentley eventually defected and exposed dozens of communist agents embedded in the federal government. She wasn’t alone—Columbia was a recruiting ground for left-wing intellectuals sympathetic to Marxism, many of whom passed through its corridors during the height of Stalinist infiltration. Known Soviet spies including Julian Wadleigh, Victor Perlo, Nathan Silvermaster, Harry Dexter White, were all students of Columbia. This ideological breeding ground mirrored broader trends in the Ivy League, where communist sympathies flourished under the guise of academic freedom, leaving another indelible stain on Columbia’s legacy.

This marks the third presidential shuffle at Columbia in just nine months, a stunning sign of instability at a university that once branded itself as the academic home of future presidents and Nobel laureates. But in the age of Trump — and with higher education increasingly exposed as a political and cultural battleground — even Columbia’s ivory tower can’t escape the reckoning.

The unhinged leftist who went viral after receiving instant karma for trying to steal a Trump fan’s MAGA hat on a NYC subway has been identified.

The New York Post revealed this morning that Alberta Testanero, a 55-year-old dual Italian-American citizen residing in Murray Hill, a Manhattan neighborhood, is responsible for this humiliating incident.

The paper also notes that she is an “agitated” creative director for several luxury brands, including Tiffany & Co., Coach, Bergdorf Goodman, and Kate Spade.

Testanero describes herself on her since-deleted Linkedin account as “an award-winning creative director, photo art director, and designer with over 20 years of experience in the industry.”

She also calls herself “an experienced team leader” who has “a keen understanding of the relationship between corporate strategy and creative vision” and maintains “the highest standards.”

The Post also notes that there appears to be a Facebook account belonging to Testanero, which shows her as a fan of the Obamas and Joe Biden. She allegedly shared a family photo of the Obamas and an image of “Joe” and “Barack” friendship bracelets.

One of Testanero’s former co-workers spoke to the New York Post about the woke leftist and had nothing nice to say about her.

“Testanero has gone off the deep end when it comes to politics,” the former colleague revealed to the Post. “She and I stopped being friends a while ago, as she became extremely liberal and very agitated.”

“I see nothing has changed, but now she’s gotten into the extreme, doing things like this,” the coworker added.

Then, all hell broke loose once the woman tried to steal the man’s hat.

Once they both exited the train, the man started running to get away from the leftist as the train’s passengers began hooting. Then the lady fell flat on her face trying to catch up, making her an instant internet meme.

Florida Rep. Cory Mills has introduced legislation to block illegal aliens from ever obtaining U.S. citizenship.

The No Citizenship for Alien Invaders Act aims to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to “protect American sovereignty by ensuring that illegal immigrants cannot exploit the U.S. immigration system,” according to Rep. Mills.

If passed, the bill would add the line, “No alien who enters the United States unlawfully shall be eligible for naturalization, notwithstanding any other provision of the immigration laws,” to the end of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

“Under the Biden administration, we saw more than 10 million encounters at our borders, a crisis exacerbated by reckless catch-and-release policies that allowed criminals who broke our laws to remain in the United States,” said Congressman Mills in a press release.

Mills continued, “President Trump has made it clear that anyone that tries to unlawfully undermine, exploit, or bypass our immigration system is a criminal. The No Citizenship for Alien Invaders Act will ensure these criminals will never be granted U.S. citizenship, that privilege will be reserved for those who respect our laws.”

The bill’s cosponsors include Reps. Josh Brecheen, Andy Harris, and Anna Paulina Luna.

Rep. Brecheen said of the bill, “America is a nation of laws, and if we allow those laws to be subverted by illegal aliens who have no constitutional right to be here in the first place, then we will cease to be a nation. The No Citizenship for Alien Invaders Act prevents illegal aliens from being rewarded with citizenship after breaking our laws. It’s time we get back to common sense policies that restore law and order to America.”

Illegal aliens can currently pursue citizenship through various pathways, such as marriage to a U.S. citizen, asylum claims, or special programs like Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). This bill would eliminate those options.

According to Pew Research, over 22 million illegal aliens are living in the U.S.

Counter-protests organized by Trump supporters are expected at several of the anti-Elon Musk “Tesla Takedown Global Day of Action” protests at Tesla dealerships across the country on Saturday.

Democratic Party politicians and progressive activists are trying to ruin Musk’s electric vehicle business over his leadership of DOGE, President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency aimed at reforming and streamlining the federal government.

A Trump supporter in Columbus, Ohio is organizing a peaceful counter-protest Saturday afternoon starting at 4 p.m. at the Tesla dealership in the Easton shopping district in suburban Columbus.

The anti-Musk Columbus protest is a weekly permitted rally that runs from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Last Saturday the protest drew between 400 and 500 mostly older progressives–and one obnoxious Antifa activist with a bullhorn.

Columbus police are expected to be on hand to keep the peace between the two sides on Saturday. One thing that will help keep everyone in line is that the Tesla dealership is located on Easton shopping mall property. Worse than being arrested, protesters who act up could be banned from shopping and dining at the popular Easton Town Center.

NBC News reported on the efforts to organize counter-protests for Saturday (excerpt):

Trump supporters are mobilizing, too. NBC News found posts on Facebook and X for 10 counterprotests that his supporters are trying to organize, saying they wanted to counteract progressives and support a Trump ally. Some are billing their events as a “Tesla Shield.”

Terry Beck, a pro-Trump organizer in northern New Jersey, said she’s trying to line up a caravan of Trump-supporting vehicles including trucks and motorcycles to greet anti-Tesla protesters in Lawrenceville, near Trenton, on Saturday. Though not a long-standing Tesla supporter, she said she backs Musk because of his work for Trump.

“He’s proven his record. I look up to him. Every person should look up to him,” she said. She added that even if the Saturday protests are entirely peaceful, her opinion is that the anti-Tesla protesters are still “backing the crime” of vandalism committed by others.

Nationwide, at least 11 Tesla dealerships, charging stations and other facilities have been hit in reported attacks, including the incendiary devices found at an Austin, Texas, showroom Monday. The reported incidents have involved Molotov cocktails, graffiti, gunshots and suspected arson. Individual Tesla owners have also reported being targeted including with keying and graffiti. The Justice Department last week announced charges against three people, and this week the FBI said it was launching a task force to investigate attacks targeting Tesla.

On Friday, radical far-left Judge Amy Berman Jackson blocked the dismantling of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She is one of the rogue district judges who is stripping power from the executive branch.

Berman Jackson, like many of her Obama-appointed peers, has worked day and night to torment and harass Republicans and Trump supporters through her power as a District Court Judge.

In February, after the Trump administration gutted the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Berman Jackson temporarily halted the mass firings. Berman Jackson also ordered defendants to preserve all of their data and records. Berman Jackson believes she knows better what is good for America.

In February, Elon Musk’s DOGE team entered the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau headquarters – and staffers were “mad as hell.”

As Cristina Laila reported earlier – President Trump began cleaning house earlier this month after he fired Rohit Chopra, the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Rohit Chopra was a toxic Biden holdover who previously threatened banks that refused to give credit lines and loans to illegal aliens.

Now, this rogue judge is blocking the dismantling of this corrupt government body.

If Confucius did not say anything quite like that, he should have.

In a clip posted Friday to the social media platform X, Democratic Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota, the comically overmatched and often creepy 2024 running mate to former Vice President Kamala Harris, told what looked like a small gathering of supporters that Democrats needed to form a “shadow government” in response to President Donald Trump’s administration.

“We see one of the first things they do is try and restrict the vote,” Walz said.

He did not specify, but apparently Walz meant that as a reference to Trump’s executive order earlier this week designed to enforce federal laws by preventing non-citizens from registering to vote and making sure that only mail-in ballots received by Election Day will count toward final totals.

Democrats, of course, hate anything that makes election fraud more difficult.

Walz then admitted that he did not know exactly what to do about it, but he offered a potential strategy.

“I think we need a shadow government,” he said. “So when all these things come up every single day, we’ve got an alternate press conference telling the truth about what things are happening.”

By “shadow government,” which sounds treasonous, Walz almost certainly had in mind a “Shadow Cabinet.” In the United Kingdom’s parliamentary system, the leader of the opposition party organizes a “team of senior spokespeople” to counter the party in power and thereby “present itself as an alternative government-in-waiting.”

In other words, Walz believes that Democrats’ problems lay not in their unpopular policies but in their unstructured messaging.

For instance, in that same speech the failed vice presidential candidate argued that Democrats needed louder and more strident defenses of policies Americans have rejected.

“We’ve been talking about this for years as a country of immigrants,” Walz said in a separate clip on X. “And we let them define the issue on immigration.”

Apparently Democrats “allowed” Republicans to point out the border invasion that millions of Americans also noticed.

But Walz went further. He insisted that Americans will also really love DEI and wokeness if only Democrats defend them with pride.

“We let them define the issue on DEI. And we let them define what woke is. We got ourselves in this mess because we weren’t bold enough to stand up and say ‘You’re d*** right, we’re proud of these policies. We’re gonna put them in, and we’re gonna execute them.’”

Aside from Walz’s proud endorsement of his party’s disastrous ideas, by far the most laughable part of his entire speech was his assertion that Democrats needed what they apparently lacked: an organized messaging apparatus that can reach the masses.

As every honest person knows, the exact opposite has held true for years. Democrats have enjoyed a virtual monopoly on the dissemination of information and opinion. Nearly the entire establishment media carries water for Democrats’ preferred policies. Hollywood and the universities do likewise.

By all means, though, put the same group of unpopular elected Democrats in front of cameras every day. Have them say what Walz said. It can only help their chances, right?
