‘The King of Kings’ Breaks Record, Proves Young America Has Great Hunger for Christ

To its detriment, Hollywood has discovered in recent years that a four-word law now governs entertainment: go woke, go broke.

Now, the entire film industry would do well to learn a similar and more positive law: audiences crave Christian content.

The latest evidence for this craving appeared with last weekend’s release of Angel Studios’ “The King of Kings,” which, according to The Christian Post, shattered the record for a biblical animated film by taking in more than $19 million, thereby demonstrating that the audience eager for well-made Christian entertainment includes children.

Incredibly, according to industry pollster CinemaScore, “The King of Kings” earned a rare A+ rating from audiences.

Angel Studios’ “Angel Guild” crowdfunding feature makes films like “The King of Kings” possible. In fact, the studio and its supporters backed the 2023 summer blockbuster “Sound of Freedom.”

Brandon Purdie, Global Head of Theatrical Distribution & Brand Development at Angel, credited that crowdfunding model.

“The Angel Guild picks winners. Angel’s revolutionary idea is simple: know your audience — and listen to them,” Purdie said, per the Post. “The CinemaScore for The King of Kings says it all. The film is one of only 128 films to achieve an A+ CinemaScore, and only the fifth animated film to hold that title that isn’t a Pixar/Disney production. Families want quality films to see together in theaters. This weekend simply reflects what audiences are craving.”

Angel Studios co-founder Jordan Harmon also credited the crowdfunding model.

“It’s discouraging to think that people haven’t been fulfilling this massive of an audience for that long in terms of the animated space,” Harmon told Variety. “We less look at things like, ‘What are we missing inside of our slate?’ We look at what the Guild is really resonating with. I think the Guild naturally finds things before even the executives could know that it’s becoming a pent-up demand for the world.”

Meanwhile, on the creative side, South Korean director Seong-Ho Jang saw the film as an opportunity to fill a void and reach young people.

“As a Christian myself, I was a little bit surprised that there aren’t any feature film animations that talk about Jesus’ story,” Jang told the Post through a translator. “So there was big motivation for me.”

“There are a lot of Christians in Korea,” he added. “But sadly, not many young people are going to church. I thought, there’s a need for someone to deliver the message of Jesus in the right way.”

Jang also explained that he built the animated film around the theme of Jesus’ love.

“The Life of Our Lord,” by 19th-century literary legend Charles Dickens, provided the inspiration for the “The King of Kings.”

In the film, Dickens himself, through the voice of British actor and filmmaker Kenneth Branagh, teaches his son about Jesus.

Of course, audience reactions matter most. And here Harmon saw evidence of the film’s impact on children from the beginning.

“This movie is really ‘The Passion’ for kids. We did an early screening, and I watched multiple kids walk out with tears on their face,” Harmon told Variety. “They’re having this massively fundamental, moving moment inside of the cinema and its communal experience, and they’re feeling so much power and emotion that they’re getting this beautiful relationship developed even more towards a love towards Christ. I truly believe this film has the potential to bless millions of kids’ lives where this becomes, for lack of a better term, a core memory.”

Of course, Angel did well to listen to its “Guild” members. After all, those who fund such films also comprise a large part of its theater audience.

Furthermore, the success of “The King of Kings” should raise eyebrows in another context.

Last weekend, Part 3 of “The Chosen: The Last Supper” also hit theaters. That Gospel-based series, now in its fifth season, has emerged as a box-office juggernaut.

Thus, “The King of Kings” drew audiences to theaters despite what one might interpret as competition for Christian audiences.

Then again, perhaps the two films boosted one another. Perhaps adults saw “The Chosen” in the evening and then took their kids to “The King of Kings” the next day.

Either way, substantial evidence suggests that audiences, including children, love Jesus.

It’s Time to Worry About AOC

It’s Time to Worry About AOC

Conservatives doubt Ocasio-Cortez at their own peril.

It’s been nearly 20 years since then-candidate for president Barack Obama spoke before 15,000 people at the Taco Bell Arena on the campus of Boise State University in Idaho. In the years since, no left-leaning politician has been capable of conjuring such a groundswell in a county and a region that voted by a 70 percent margin in favor of President Trump in the 2024 election. But that all changed on Monday.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) spoke before a sold-out crowd of 12,500 people at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa. The last time Sanders swung through the state, during his failed 2016 presidential campaign, he could only muster 7,000 people at the same Taco Bell Arena where Obama had rallied 15,000 years before. But with AOC by his side, Sanders shattered that number in an off-year event in a state that has come to openly embody the core tenets of MAGA conservatism.

In November 2024, the residents of Nampa, Idaho voted overwhelmingly for Republicans to retake the Oval Office. When Joe Biden visited the state as part of his 2020 presidential campaign, only 300 monied donors showed up at a private residence event in Boise. Biden chose to skip the state completely during his (admittedly truncated) 2024 campaign. On Monday, AOC stood before a capacity-crowd in the deep red state and found the sort of super-charged energy that once catapulted Obama on a historic trajectory in the late aughts.

The spirited congresswoman from the Bronx was firing on all cylinders in a performance that mirrored the high energy at multiple other sold-out events during her western swing through Trump Country on Sanders’s “Fight Oligarchy” tour over the last week. Far from the Acela corridor that Northeastern politicians both physically and ideologically represent, the pair were greeted with sold-out crowds wherever they went. Five thousand in Bakersfield, California. Eighth thousand in Missoula, Montana. Twenty thousand on a Sunday in Salt Lake City, Utah. The electric energy at each event was reminiscent of her star turn at the 2024 Democratic National Convention, when supporters chanted her name through thunderous applause inside Chicago’s United Center.

Though Sanders was the ticket’s main draw, the viral videos spreading across X following each event weren’t of the aging socialist but the woman he jokingly referred to as his daughter, AOC. Ocasio-Cortez has long been criticized as a niche politician, a loud-mouthed juvenile fronting wild policies that fail to find broad appeal outside the progressive haunts of her Bronx congressional district. But during the one-week western crawl, AOC in blue jeans and a denim button-down found her footing in true politicking. Far from the madding crowds that bustle through Washington, on the long prairie of America where policy fades, AOC’s star shone brightly for Democratic voters who feel forgotten by the DC consensus.

According to a Federal Elections Commission report filed Tuesday, AOC raised more than $9 million in the first quarter of 2025, an impressive figure for the progressive lawmaker who enjoys a safe house seat and is not a member of the Democratic leadership caucus. AOC has raised that money without receiving a single cent from the American-Israel PAC (AIPAC), which she has characterized as an “extremist organization that destabilizes U.S. democracy.” Her operation has openly rejected corporate PAC money, and 64 percent of contributions came from first-time supporters, with nurses and teachers atop a small-donor base that, on average, contributed $21 to whatever future AOC should wish to pursue. More than a quarter of a million people sent AOC money in the first three months of 2025.

Unsurprisingly, AOC is suddenly showing strength in early predictive polling of the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination race. AtlasIntel, rated one of the most accurate pollsters of both the 2020 and 2024 presidential election cycles, finds AOC with 16 percent support in a crowded field. The only Democrats to receive higher tallies are the former vice president Kamala Harris and the former transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg. New numbers from Yale also suggest AOC’s viability as a dark-horse candidate in 2028. In a poll that sampled 4,000 registered voters, AOC posted the highest net favorability of any Democrat in the prospective field and beat out Buttigieg for second place in a 2028 primary race. Only Harris, who has historically struggled on the campaign trail, sits ahead of AOC by seven percent in the Yale data.

Whether AOC can topple the establishmentarians on the left remains to be seen. It was a task too tall for Sanders, who had the nomination wrestled away twice by DC insiders who refused to afford an unabashed progressive the opportunity to helm the Democratic ticket. But AOC is a younger, fresher version of a man who, with his thin-rimmed glasses, distinctive Brooklyn accent, and silver hair, struggles at times to animate the broad appeal necessary to carry the nomination and perhaps the presidency.

Ocasio-Cortez, who will turn 39 in the fall of 2028, is already showing she can compete with top Democratic leaders. New polling from the liberal firm Data for Progress of the 2028 New York Senate primary suggests AOC holds a remarkable 19-point lead over Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, should she choose to challenge the septuagenarian.

Whether AOC possesses the desire to shake up leadership or possibly launch an Oval Office bid is another question altogether. Her closest allies have repeatedly signaled her laissez-faire approach to ladder-mounting in a city dominated by grinders and climbers. But with Sanders aging out and a void in the progressive power structure, AOC, with her unique star power, is positioned to accelerate above a field of establishment peers in a Trump-era defined by outsiders.

The Democratic power structure has never been weaker. As a party, the Democrats are registering historic lows in the polls, with only a quarter of registered supporters saying they hold a positive view of the party. “The Democratic Party is not in need of a rebrand,” noted Democratic pollster Jeff Horwitt of Hart Research Associates. “It needs to be rebooted.”

Though her path to the nomination likely lies outside the traditional norms of intraparty politicking, AOC cannot win the presidency or the Senate without the big money and power that still fuels the Democrat machine. It’s a thin tightrope, but one she has proven capable of walking, as evidenced by her unexpected support of President Joe Biden during his weakest moments. The real question now, as posed by former representative Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), is whether AOC actually has the desire to seek the nation’s top executive position.

“If the spirit moves her, she’ll do it—but she has to be moved by the spirit,” Bowman recently told POLITICO. If spirit is what it takes, AOC’s western tour through Trump Country could very well be the spark that lights the fire. In the deep mountains of America’s intercontinental West, a place that has largely rejected Democrats of all stripes, AOC found a distinct momentum, one that was all her own. It may just convince the New York congresswoman that the time is now.

A Happy Easter

A Happy Easter

On this most joyous of holidays, having a real community nourishes the soul.

How do we define who and what constitutes our community?

In a curious fluke of my upbringing, my “community” was, for many years, my immediate family: my mother, my father, my younger brother. My parents, who had children later in life, had few friends with children of comparable ages. And because they had waited so long to become parents, they were vigilant about those with whom my brother and I socialized. They were wary of external influences on the family.

I made friends easily during my three years at a small private grade school, but that period turned out to be something of an interregnum. From the third grade onward, I was homeschooled. My brother eventually joined me.

My father was given the impossible task of teaching me math and, later, algebra; my mother gamely handled everything else, including English, history, Greek mythology, and other stimulating subjects. In the 1990s, homeschooling was such a novelty that I became accustomed to not correcting nosey adults when they assumed that I went to a regular school—a sin of omission for which I am sorry. More distressingly, I lied when asked by authority figures—say, the dentist—whether I was making friends at “school.” My father counseled me to respond to such inquiries forthrightly: “I do not have any friends my own age, nor do I want any,” he told me to say. But, with his firm tone and emphatic manner, my father could deliver such lines far better than I ever could.

Don’t misunderstand me: I relished this arrangement because my parents were such smart, funny, caring, and indulgent people. I would have rather been with them than anyone else. I went to the office with my father; I went to the movies with my mother. Who but my father would have humored my literary ambitions so eagerly? Who but my mother would pepper conversations with quotes from old movies that we both knew by heart?

Consequently, I grew up without a strong sense of having any identity but my parents’ son. I did not attend a school from which I would acquire “school spirit,” and I did not have enough same-aged friends or contemporaries from whom I would pick up passing enthusiasms for rock stars or sports heroes. In many ways, my upbringing turned me into a strong critical thinker. I did not carry with me the pieties, platitudes, and prejudices of many of my generation. When, decades later, it emerged as a cultural force, I was not susceptible to wokeism.

Yet I have found that the pull of community is greater than I would have ever guessed as a teenager. One needs to belong to more than one’s family. After all, one’s parents eventually recede from the scene; one cannot spend one’s entire life echoing their views, opinions, and habits of mind—although one should always honor those things.

Even so, throughout my young adulthood, I found myself latching onto the sort of ersatz communities that I had once spurned. There was the community of my chosen profession of journalism. I loved interacting with my fellow ink-stained wretches, whether they were across town or across the country: grizzled, no-nonsense editors who thought nothing of pulling me into an assignment on a day’s notice or emailing me an edit of a story at 3 or 4 o’clock in the morning, as did my favorite editor at National Review, the late Mike Potemra. In my twenties and early thirties, I identified profoundly with the cynical, sarcastic, sensible ethos of the veteran practitioners of my trade.

As the years marched on, my yearning for community intensified, but my definition of it became looser and broader. Could a community somehow revolve around one’s favorite books and movies? I thought so. I sought out quasi-friendships with the clerks at, or proprietors of, my favorite bookshops, who came to know my literary tastes and, thus, me. By the same token, I always considered shared taste in movies to be a strong starting point for any potential friendship; even if someone had nothing else in common with me, if they shared my excitement over the dramatic camerawork in the melodramas of Douglas Sirk or the austere elegance in the Westerns of Budd Boetticher, I imagined they somehow saw the world as I did. I once attended a classic film convention, whose participants attempted to wring community out of a shared interest in obscure black-and-white movies from the 1930s and ’40s.

Looking back on it now, this all strikes me as desperately sad—a pitiful substitution of mere enthusiasms for real fellowship. It is all well and good to share interests with likeminded people, but I recognized that I was identifying with increasingly obscure, specialized, and, above all, superficial groups. Readers of literary fiction? Fans of old movies? Please. Was I so different than sports nuts who imagine they have deep kinship with other sports nuts because they each wear the same jerseys or hats?

It was not until late in my fortieth year, with my parents both gone and my attempts to bind myself to my profession or my interests having left me unfulfilled, that I first perceived myself as being part of an authentic community. That year, having become a confessional Lutheran in the wake of my mother’s death, I received the Sacrament of the Altar for the first time. At the Lord’s Table, I found myself tethered to a community defined by faith—the sort of community that I had been seeking for so long. My parents, with their good but naïve intentions, supposed that they could provide everything for their sons. But they could never provide what is offered in the Lord’s Supper: the forgiveness of sins received by brothers and sisters in Christ. At last, at the altar, I had genuine fellowship with my fellow inhabitants of our fallen world.

The extreme fractionalization in modern American society has many sources, but from where I sit, chief among them is the pull of false community in the absence of real community. We are born wanting to locate common points with each other, but without the true common point of faith, we are left with mere imitations. Membership in a political party (even one sympathetic to MAGA), participation in a protest, intense identification among those with a health issue with other people suffering from the same affliction, obsessive devotion to a particular cause, like climate change—these things are all as appealing, but finally as empty, as attempting to build a network of friends through a mutual love of books or movies.

On this Easter, at last, I am part of a community.

New Poll Shows Voters Are Tired of the Anti-Trump ‘Resistance’ – Even in Blue California

From the moment Trump won the 2024 election, Democrats have done nothing but try to stand in his way. They think it’s still 2016 and they have no new ideas.

One new poll shows that voters are not buying the Dems’ old act anymore. Even in blue California.

Leaders are supposed to offer solutions and find compromises that get things done. Democrats offer nothing but outrage and protests and people are sick of it.

From Politico:

California voters have Trump-resistance fatigue, poll finds

California voters are less keen on fighting Donald Trump than their state’s political elite.

In a dual survey of California voters and political professionals who are driving the state’s agenda, the electorate is strikingly more likely to want a detente with the White House. Voters are also more divided on issues like immigration and climate change, where Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democratic state lawmakers have asserted progressive ambitions that rebuff the president’s agenda.

A plurality of voters is skeptical of legal immigration, and less than half think the state should be able to set its own strict standards on vehicle emissions, an authority California has used for more than half a century.

The results suggest a disconnect between the policymaking class and voters in an overwhelmingly blue state where Trump made broad inroads in 2024 amid widespread frustrations over crime and a prohibitively high cost of living. Registered Democrats, however — who comprise nearly half the electorate — are more enthusiastic about progressive policies and more eager to challenge Trump’s Washington.

Ed Morrissey of Hot Air offered an explanation for this:

This might reflect the recognition by voters — even in deep-blue California — of the intellectual and moral bankruptcy of La Résistance in either iteration. The first time around, Democrats launched their “resistance” on the false claim that Trump won office illegitimately through “Russia collusion.” Voters eventually discovered that was a lie, and those who paid attention now know that the lie came from Hillary Clinton’s dirty-tricks team and Barack Obama’s FBI.

This time around, there’s no question at all about legitimacy. Trump stomped Harris in the election and won both the popular vote and the Electoral College, the first GOP candidate to do so in 20 years.

Democrats are already enjoying a historically low approval rating. If they want it to sink even further, they should just keep doing what they’re doing.

As AOC Flies Around the Country on Her ‘Fight Oligarchy’ Tour, Residents of Her Imploding District Are Begging Kash Patel for Help

Bernie Sanders and AOC claim to fight oligarchy while promoting socialist-fascist policies that reinforce it. Photo courtesy of 9News. Screenshot from video.

While AOC is flying first class around the country with Bernie Sanders to yell about their hatred for rich people, her district is falling apart. People there are so desperate for help that they’re reaching out to FBI Director Kash Patel.

This has always been AOC’s weakest point. She has been in office for years now and no one could point to something, anything that she has done to help the people she was elected to represent.

It’s the same playbook as Elizabeth Warren. They get elected to a local office and then use it to promote themselves on a national level. The local office is just used as a springboard to their real ambitions.

FOX News reports:

Leaders in AOC’s ‘Red Light’ district call on Kash Patel to crush ‘worsening’ gang crime and prostitution

As Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., privately jets across the nation for her “Fighting Oligarchy” tour, residents in her Queens constituency have been calling on the FBI and the DEA to help them crack down on the illegal sex workers and drug dealers that they say have turned their neighborhood into a festering “gangland.”

Last week, local leaders, including a former Democrat state senator, wrote to FBI Director Kash Patel urging him to unleash agents to quell the raging problem along Roosevelt Avenue – a 2-mile commercial strip which has been likened to both a Third World Country and a Red Light district – where scantily-clad women on sidewalks soliciting sex is commonplace.

They also claim the ruthless 18th Street Gang has taken over illegal operations there, filling the void of other gangs like with Tren de Aragua after a massive police operation saw hundreds of people arrested.

Local leaders say the police actions haven’t helped:

“The NYPD’s Operation Restore Roosevelt did lead to arrests, but our street sources say the gangs replaced their foot soldiers within days,” said the advocates, who include former Democrat state Senator Hiram Monserrate.

“The money never stopped moving, the dance floors stayed open, and the prostitutes came back in full force. This isn’t just a Queens problem, it’s a blueprint for how gangs, cartels, and traffickers can take over a community in plain sight.”

AOC has no interest in doing the actual job she was elected to do. That has been clear since the moment she took office. She has much bigger aspirations and the people of her district are nothing more than a stepping stone.

Rep. Jim Clyburn Says Liberal Media is Biased Against Democrats: ‘That’s What’s Killing Us’(VIDEO)

Jim Clyburn / MSNBC

Rep. James Clyburn of South Carolina has said that Democrats have a winning message but that mainstream media is biased against them.

In an appearance on MSNBC, Clyburn explained that Democrats main problem is that they are unable to share their winning message with the rest of the country because the mainstream media is unwilling to amplify it.

He explained.

I think the message that’s coming from the Democratic Party is a good message. The problem we’ve got, honestly, is that we have to depend upon the media to deliver it.

If we have The Washington Post, for instance, caving to this wannabe dictator, and we’ve got other media entities that seem to rather push a narrative that will bring eyes to their newspapers or to their television sets and not really give a fair hearing or reporting to what we’re doing.

I have to rely upon people like [MSNBC]. You do a great job of this. That’s why I like coming on your shows on the weekends, because you do real, good, substantive reporting of what the issues are around us.

But when you’ve got people saying we’re not going to fact-check, we’re not going to worry about whether or not you’re telling the truth and just let the reports go out there. That’s what’s killing us as Democrats, because we don’t have a stomach for just lying.

Watch the clip on Mediaite.

Clyburn’s comments can only be described as gaslighting.

As anyone who has been alive for the past 10 years will known, the vast majority of mainstream media networks and news outlets are actually propaganda outlets for the Democratic Party, all while hiding behind the mask of “impartial, fact-based journalism.”

While it is true that The Washington Post is no longer as antagonistic towards Trump as it used to be, this is merely a reflection of the fact that Jeff Bezos does not want to upset the president so he can maintain his support for his various projects.

Clyburn, meanwhile, is known for making ludicrous comments.

Shortly before Joe Biden left office, he described the former president as one of the greatest presidents in American history.

“I think that he will go down as one of the greatest presidents we ever had,” he said when asked about Biden’s legacy. “I think the same thing about Jimmy Carter, who we just funeralized.”

Peaceful “Free Iran” Protest Held by Large Conservative Group Outside the White House – TGP Footage

James Rose/The Gateway Pundit, White House

More than 100 civilians gathered outside the White House this week to peacefully advocate the overthrow of the brutal, totalitarian Iranian regime.

In place of the tyrannical Iranian regime that has oppressed its citizens for decades – imprisoning and murdering its dissidents, while casting a dark cloud over the Middle East region, at large – these American conservatives assembled to advocate the temporary restoration of power to Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, the political successor to Iran’s monarchy overthrown in 1979.

A fluent English speaker, Crown Prince Reza obtained his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Southern California, after originally residing in the United States in 1978 for his Imperial Iranian Air Force training at Reese Air Force base, Texas.

In 1980, following the death of his father, the Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza, Crown Prince Reza ascended to the head of his royal house, while exiled in Cairo, Egypt.

Although the United States Department of State opted to officially recognize the totalitarian Iranian regime in 1980, Crown Prince Reza formed an Iranian constitutional monarchy-in-exile in 1986.

Nearly 40 years later, the introduction page on Crown Prince Reza’s website quotes Crown Prince Reza as saying, “I will not rest until Iran has a national, democratic and elected government of the people.”

Evidently, Crown Prince Reza’s initiative to restore non-tyrannical government in Iran has built serious momentum over recent years.

On November 14, 2024, only nine days after President Trump’s re-election, Crown Prince Reza wrote on social media platforms that “Iranians should reclaim our beloved Iran,” adding,

“At your call, I am ready to guide this change and lead the transitional period.”

In April, 2025, Crown Prince Reza’s statement was echoed by his faithful American supporters, en masse.

In video footage captured by the Gateway Pundit, one leader of the “Free Iran” protest outside the White House said of Crown Prince Reza,

“His name has echoed throughout Iran, from rooftops to soccer stadiums, reflecting the widespread trust placed in his leadership. He has consistently advocated for a free Iran, and called for a Democratic referendum, empowering Iranians to determine their future. [He is] supported by civic and institutional networks inside Iran.”

You can watch TGP’s footage of the peaceful “Free Iran” protest here.

This protestor from the Gateway Pundit’s footage claimed that Crown Prince Reza’s liberation movement will offer a peaceful transition of temporary power to Crown Prince Reza, at which time he will facilitate democratic elections for a new Iranian government, as decided by the people.

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Reza has curried favor with many influential world leaders. In July, 2024, Crown Prince Reza spoke at the National Conservatism Conference in Washington, DC.

In January, 2025, Crown Prince Reza urged President Trump to refrain from brokering a nuclear deal with the brutal, Iranian government, asking President Trump to instead prioritize the dissolution of the current Iranian government.

In February, 2025, Crown Prince Reza was invited to the Munich Security Conference, and spoke at the Munich Convergence Summit.

Ultimately, the composition of the Iranian government is of utmost, pressing importance on the geopolitical stage.

Unlike most leftwing American protests, fear and negativity did not pervade the “Crown Prince Reza for a Free Iran” assembly outside the White House in April. Instead, various polished speakers took to the podium, while dozens of protestors waved Royal Iranian flags, posing no threat to pedestrians.

As one protestor, who asked to remain anonymous out of concern for her family’s safety, told the Gateway Pundit, “We should expect such protests for a free Iran to continue for a very long time in Washington, DC.”

Watch MSNBC’s Katie Phang Fawn All Over Rep. Jasmine Crockett in a Nauseating Display (VIDEO)

MSNBC host Katie Phang recently spoke to Rep. Jasmine Crockett and the two became emotional in a gross display.

Phang’s show is apparently coming to an end, so she played a clip of Jasmine Crockett appearing on the show three years ago. The two of them then teared up as Phang thanked Crockett for sticking up for democracy.

It’s amazing that some people actually consider this a news network.

In the first part of the clip, Crockett compares the deported MS-13 member Agrego Garcia to Trump.

Via Mediaite:

This is someone who is a Maryland resident. And he decided that he was going to go down there and check on him. And honestly, I don’t know that I was convinced that he was alive. I really don’t. And so I was happy to see that he was alive, number one. But number two, if Senator Van Hollen can get down there, if the president can get up here and get to the White House, then I don’t understand why we can’t get Abrego up out of there.

I mean, we know that they admitted that they were wrong. Now they’re trying to double back and say, well, he’s this terrible person and all this kind of stuff. But here’s the reality. As far as I’m concerned, he’s a lot less criminal than the person that’s sitting in the White House, because last time I checked, he doesn’t have any criminal convictions.

Then the lovefest begins.

Via Colin Rugg:

“That was you and I three years ago. That was your first time on the Katie Fang Show. This is the second-to-last episode of the show.”

“Congresswoman, I wanted to thank you for always getting up early and delivering it, but I also wanna say thank you for your continuing support for democracy. “

Here’s the clip:

JUST IN: Rep. Jasmine Crockett starts crying to the point where she can barely speak during an interview with MSNBC’s Katie Phang.

Crockett had finished saying Trump was a bigger “criminal” than MS-13 gang members when Phang thanked her for her “support for Democracy.”

Illegal Alien and Suspected Tren de Aragua Gangster Cries Like a Baby After Arrest in Florida: ‘Life as He Knew It is Over’

Credit: Polk County Sheriff’s Office

Someone find the world’s smallest violin.

An illegal alien and an alleged Tren de Aragua gangster broke down like a baby being arrested in connection with a violent liquor store robbery spree across central Florida, authorities said.

Ramon Jesus Carpintero-Luna, 26, was caught alongside four other suspects tied to a series of armed heists that targeted more than 30 liquor stores, netting an estimated $30,000 in stolen goods.

Many of the thefts involved threats of violence and a specific focus on high-end liquor, including bottles of premium scotch, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

When confronted by law enforcement, Carpintero-Luna, a Venezuelan national who entered the country illegally, reportedly fell to his knees, begging officers to let him go.

Detectives said he wept uncontrollably while in handcuffs, seemingly overwhelmed by the realization that his crime spree had come to an end.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd explained his predicament during a press conference on Saturday:

Life as he knew it is over. Is he crying because he can’t steal from Americans anymore? Is he crying because he can’t rob people in the middle of the night anymore? Is he crying because he can’t rip off high end liquor?

This is the end of the road for him and his companions. I hope he has his traveling clothes on because we want to charge them with racketeering and send them to state prison for a very long time. And then deport them.

Watch the clip below:

Investigators identified two of the suspects — Samuel Oglis David Anthony Charle, 25, and Alexis Jose Rodriguez-Benavides, 27 — as confirmed members of the notorious Tren de Aragua, a violent Venezuelan transnational gang backed by the country’s socialist regime.

Carpintero-Luna, along with Ildemaro Miguel Escalona Mendoza, 26, and Darwins Smith Vasquez Leon, 28, are also believed to be involved with the group.

According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, all five men entered the U.S. illegally and quickly turned to organized crime.

“They didn’t come here looking for work,” Judd added. “They came here to steal.”
