A Missouri man who was convicted for the 2021 arson of a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints church has been sentenced to more than nine years in prison.

In December, Christopher Scott Pritchard, 49, pleaded guilty to one count of arson and one count of violating the Church Arson Prevention Act, according to a Department of Justice news release.

On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Matthew T. Schelp sentenced Pritchard to 111 months in prison.

Pritchard was also ordered to pay the church $6,968,223.36 to cover the cost of the damages inflicted on the church.

The church was destroyed by fire on April 28, 2021.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office later arrested Pritchard, who not only smelled like smoke but had various items from the church in his possession.

At the time, Pritchard said he had had an argument with the church’s bishop and threatened to assault the bishop and also burn down the church.

“There is no place in America for criminal acts against houses of worship,” Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division said.

“The Civil Rights Division thanks its law enforcement partners for prosecuting this matter.”

In 2022, as members of the church looked back, they said the fire destroyed their building, but not their church, according to The Church News.

“We stood in the parking lot and watched the church burn, and there were a lot of tears,” said Bishop John Fulton, bishop of the Cape Girardeau Ward.

“Even the neighborhood came and said what a great influence the church had been on them.”

“The building really meant a lot to many of the neighbors,” Cape Girardeau Stake President Kevin Dickson said then. “It was really important to them that the building was there. They felt a connection to it, even though they weren’t members.”

Dickson and Fulton noted that the fire led to an increase in the commitment of church members.

“People are coming to church, and they are digging in and working and getting involved,” Fulton said.

“It’s been exactly what you would expect from people who are recovering from challenges. They are redoubling their efforts and want to make a difference.”

“Had it not been for the fire, they would not have been back at church,” Dickson said.

Singer, songwriter Billy Joel abruptly canceled all upcoming concert tour dates after being diagnosed with a brain disorder.

The 76-year-old made the announcement on social media on Friday.

Billy Joel announced he has been diagnosed with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) which has led to problems with hearing, vision, and balance.

“This condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision and balance,” the statement read. “Under his doctor’s instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period. Billy is thankful for the excellent care he is receiving and is fully committed to prioritizing his health.”

Billy Joel has been diagnosed with brain disorder Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), news that the iconic singer has announced while canceling his upcoming concerts.

Joel added in a statement, “I’m sincerely sorry to disappoint our audience and thank you for understanding.”

His team added that the “Piano Man” singer is “thankful for the excellent care he is receiving and is fully committed to prioritizing his health. He is grateful for the support from fans during this time and looks forward to the day when he can once again take the stage.”

Joel’s upcoming tour included 17 shows in stadiums across North America and England. Fans will be automatically refunded for the canceled shows.

Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus is described as a brain disorder where excess cerebrospinal fluid accumulates in the brain’s ventricles.

A federal judge on Friday turned a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) into a preliminary injunction blocking the Trump Administration’s effort to overhaul and reorganize 20 agencies in the Executive Branch.

In February, President Trump implemented an executive order to completely overhaul the Executive Branch through the work of DOGE.

US District Judge Susan Illston, a Clinton appointee, said in order for President Trump to make such large-scale overhauls, he needs approval from Congress.

Judge Illston blocked any reduction-in-force (RIF) notices to workers in 20 federal agencies.

The judge’s preliminary injunction comes in response to a lawsuit filed by the anti-American AFL-CIO and American Federation of Government Employees.

Judge Illston enjoined DOGE, the State Department, Treasury and other agencies.

A federal judge on Thursday continued to block the Trump administration from moving forward with its plans to lay off thousands of government workers at more than 20 federal agencies, providing federal employees a lifeline as a legal challenge to President Trump’s bid to restructure the federal government moves forward.

The preliminary injunction granted by U.S. District Judge Susan Illston covers 21 federal agencies and the White House’s Department of Government Efficiency and prevents them from implementing reductions-in-force, placing employees on administrative leave and proceeding with job cuts that are already in motion.

The judge, who sits on the federal court in San Francisco, also barred agencies from implementing any orders by the Elon Musk-led DOGE to cut programs or staff in connection with an executive order signed by President Trump in February that seeks to transform the executive branch. The agencies affected include the Departments of Health and Human Services and Veterans Affairs, as well as AmeriCorps and the Social Security Administration, among others.

In the wake of Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential defeat and losing majorities in both houses of Congress, many have wondered who the new face of the left will be.

Is it California Gov. Gavin Newsom? New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg?

In response, I’d say none of the above. In fact, the man I’d say is one of the two faces of the left in 2025 won’t be running for president anytime soon — or doing running anywhere besides the prison yard. His name is Elias Rodriguez.

Rodriguez isn’t old enough to run for president, either. According to various reports, the Chicago man is 31, per the New York Post. What we do know is that he’s roughly the same age as the two Jewish Israeli embassy staffers he allegedly shot and killed — Yaron Lischinsky, 30, and Sarah Milgrim, 26, a couple — outside of the Capital Jewish Museum, then confessed to the killing, yelling “Free, free Palestine!” as he was taken into custody.

And now, an emerging picture of Rodriguez shows that he was a member of a radical left-wing, anti-Semitic socialist group and a supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement.

For instance, he was once allied with the Party for Socialism and Liberation, which routinely spews pro-Hamas, anti-Israeli rhetoric on social media.

After it happened, of course, they made sure to stop the drumbeat of anti-Semitism for a second to try and spin things.

“We reject any attempt to associate the PSL with the DC shooting. Elias Rodriguez is not a member of the PSL. He had a brief association with one branch of the PSL that ended in 2017. We know of no contact with him in over 7 years. We have nothing to do with this shooting and do not support it,” the party said in a statement on X.

This didn’t exactly mollify social media respondents, who noted this was at odds with the party’s rhetoric in the past:

Plus, his association went a bit deeper than that: In an article from the PSL’s propaganda outlet, Liberation, Rodriguez gave a well-received speech during a Black Lives Matter protest in Chicago in 2017 where he compared the death of a 17-year-old black teen at the hands of police to Amazon gentrifying Seattle.

“[Amazon’s] whitening of Seattle is structurally racist and a direct danger to all workers who live in that city,” Rodriguez said.

“So do we in Chicago and all across the country want a nation of cities dominated and occupied by massive corporations where only the rich and white can live and the vast majority of us must live on the edges of the city and society living in deeper and deeper poverty?”

He also had a position with History Makers, a nonprofit which documents black history, as an oral history researcher.

His bio has been deleted there, as well, but this is what the website previously read, per the Post: “Prior to joining The HistoryMakers in 2023, he worked as a content writer for commercial and noncommercial firms in the technology space, both national and regionally based.”

He had left HistoryMakers and was working with the American Osteopathic Information Association, which said it was “shocked and saddened to learn that an AOIA employee has been arrested as a suspect in this horrific crime.”

Furthermore, he supposedly left behind a 900-word manifesto that described his reasons for committing an anti-Semitic terror act, which police were trying to authenticate. Even as he was waiting to be arrested, he continued to advocate for far-left causes, too.

A witness told a local TV station that Rodriguez pulled out a red keffiyeh, which is often associated with the Marxist–Leninist group the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Times of London reported.

How is this not the left in 2025?

We currently have a president that has survived not one but two attempts on his life on the campaign trail, assassination attempts that the media and the left have tried to pretend didn’t really exist. We have a left that refuses to confront the extremist anti-Semites in its midst — so much so that it’ll defend the radicals at Columbia and Harvard, among other institutions, that engaged in systemic harassment of Jewish students and causes.

This is a left that not-so-secretly stans upon Luigi Mangione — another alleged murderer with a political agenda. This is a left that gets annoyed that people intuited problematic messaging from a former FBI director who posted a seashell formation saying “86 47” on his Instagram account after the two assassination attempts against Trump that have already happened.

This is the summer of Floyd, the #Resistance, the casually anti-Semitic embrace of Hamas-loving college radicals, the Black Lives Matter riots, the photo shoot of Kathy Griffin holding up the bloodied effigial head of Donald Trump, then-President Joe Biden saying Hamas supporters “have a point,” this is all of it rolled into one.

This is Elias Rodriguez — the violent end to your violent delights, progressive America.

Look not upon the face of AOC or Gov. Newsom, American left. Look at this man’s mug shot. Look at the photos of the two young lives he cut short simply because he knew those young lives were Jewish and killing them advanced his cause. Look at that mug shot deeply. He is you. You have birthed him. You own him. You own this.

A majority of U.S. voters gave President Donald Trump high marks for upholding the Constitution, according to a new Rasmussen poll.

In so doing, he outperformed former President Joe Biden by a solid eight points, despite receiving nonstop negative coverage from the legacy media.

A bullish 52 percent of likely voters gave Trump a “good” or “excellent” rating for the job he has done in “preserving, protecting, and defending the Constitution,” according to Rasmussen Reports.

The poll — which was conducted May 6 to 8 — surveyed 1,047 likely U.S. voters. It has a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points, with a 95 percent level of confidence.

In May 2024, only 44 percent of respondents said then-president Biden did a good or excellent job at upholding the Constitution.

This isn’t surprising, since Biden rabidly avoided the media during his troubled tenure.

And in the rare instances when he took questions from reporters, they were usually pre-selected, softball questions from liberal outlets that were friendly to the Biden administration.

In contrast, Trump fields questions from reporters on a near-daily basis — including from hostile, left-wing cable networks.

Since leaving office, Americans have also learned that the Biden team repeatedly lied about his deteriorating physical and mental health.

According to a Rasmussen poll released Wednesday, a whopping 72 percent of voters believe the Biden administration’s cover-up of his numerous health problems is a “serious scandal.”

One of the most egregious ways Biden subverted the Constitution was by not ensuring that the laws Congress had passed — notably, the statute banning illegal border crossings — were enforced.

Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution requires the president to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” In this measure, Biden was a woeful failure.

Meanwhile, Trump’s decisive actions to secure the border and remove illegal aliens from the homeland is in line with his constitutional mandate to make sure federal immigration laws are enforced.

Ironically, it is because Trump is trying to ensure compliance with U.S. laws that he’s being viciously attacked by Democrats and their establishment media puppets.

A deranged Florida woman viciously attacked an elderly person because he supported President Trump, and then assaulted a man in blue in the latest act of disturbing violence by the radical left. And she is already out of prison despite facing multiple charges.

FOX 13 Tampa Bay obtained an arrest affidavit on Thursday, which revealed that 33-year-old Laura Elizabeth Garrett was at Northeast Park and Paw Place in Largo on Tuesday when she decided to harass a 72-year-old man for wearing a MAGA hat.

The document shows that Garrett demanded to know why the man, who has not been identified, supported Trump and asked questions about him.

This led to an argument between the two individuals, and that’s when Garrett decided to resort to violence.

The arrest affidavit says that Garrett next smacked the helpless man on the back of the head and shoulder area with a can. Then, like the coward she is, Garrett jumped over a fence and scurried away.

Garrett admitted to police that she approached the man and demanded why he supported the president. She also confessed to pouring the contents of a can on his head, which qualifies as assault.

Garrett, though, denied to police that she ever struck the victim.

But that’s not all. The arrest affidavit also says that Garrett assaulted a police officer while they were trying to handcuff her.

As FOX 13 notes, Largo police attempted to guide Garrett to the front of the park, where their patrol vehicles were located. But the woman attacked one of the police officers by wrapping both of her legs around an officer, causing him to fall and bruise his knee.

Garrett then continued to kick and pull away from the police before they finally restrained her.

FOX 13 reports that Garrett has been hit with the following charges: battery on a person 65 years old or older, battery on a law enforcement officer, and obstructing or resisting an officer without violence.

Jail records obtained by FOX News show Garrett was booked into the Pinellas County Jail Tuesday evening, but was released Wednesday night. The reason for this is not apparent.

Jake Tapper recently tried to cover for MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ host Joe Scarborough’s consistent gaslighting that Joe Biden was fit for office by implying that he, along with other media members, were ‘targeted victims’ of Biden.

In March of 2024, Scarborough chastised Biden’s critics saying at the time, “This version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever. if it weren’t the truth, I wouldn’t say it.”

“He came on this show, and you guys had a robust conversation about this.”

“You largely agreed that you’d been hearing things about this, but that there was really no alternative, that Kamala Harris was not up to the job. That’s what Democrats were telling you behind the scenes.”

“Joe Biden saw that. Joe Biden said to staffers that he wanted to convince you that you were wrong. He focused on you like you were a constituency, like you were farmers in Iowa, like you were the Kiwanis Club in New Hampshire.”

In the past two weeks, two potentially high-profile prosecutions of police officers in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Memphis, Tennessee, have both resulted in rare prosecutorial losses, where police officers accused of murder have been freed at the end of jury trials.

Studies show state prosecutors typically get a conviction or defendants take a plea in over 58% of indictments.

In both Michigan and Tennessee, prosecutors trying to put police in prison after a criminal suspect died during an arrest have been stopped by juries who were not willing to put the officers in prison.

Prosecutors have been steered to the left, some say, by campaign donations from far-left sources. These donations are meant to radically change and upend America’s judicial system by electing lawless prosecutors who are soft on crime but who also aggressively prosecute law enforcement officers.

Prosecutors have also been trying to imprison police officers after the 2020 fentanyl-related death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which set off a series of riots across the country that resulted in billions in property losses. The cultural fallout from the Floyd death, blamed on Officer Derek Chauvin who, it was said, was placing his knee on Floyd’s neck, even though video evidence looked as though it was on his back shoulder blade while three other officers attempted to keep Floyd stable while they waited for paramedics.

President Trump has reportedly been considering a Presidential pardon for Chauvin, currently sentenced to 21 years in a federal trial, alongside 22.5 years in a state sentence.

Leftist media has been indignant about the prospect of Chauvin receiving a pardon on just the federal charges. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) has said he is ‘preparing’ for a Chauvin pardon, even though he has no concrete evidence it is pending.

In Grand Rapids, Michigan, Kent County Prosecutor Chris Becker has decided not to retry Grand Rapids Police Officer Christopher Schurr for murder after a mistrial when the jury deadlocked 10–2 in favor of finding Schurr “not guilty.” The case involved the death of Patrick Lyoya on April 4, 2022. Schurr has been fighting for his innocence since being charged in June 2022.

The New York Times buried the fact that the jury was lopsided in favor of acquitting Schurr into the 6th paragraph of their story.

Video evidence makes clear that Lyoya started running from and fighting Officer Schurr, but left-wing activists were angry that Schurr’s body camera stopped recording and that Lyoya was shot in the back of the head. Body camera footage indicates Lyoya had taken Schurr’s TASER from him and was attempting to use it when he was killed by Officer Schurr.

Becker told local media: “I put the best case I could forward when I tried this case. I did the best I could; I did everything I could. The jury couldn’t reach a verdict. I still stand by the decision.”

This anti-cop and anti-law enforcement Prosecutor does not come from George Soros; however, his funding and background trace back to a different set of left-wing billionaires active in Republican politics.

About 67% of Becker’s campaign funding comes directly from the family of Betsy DeVos, with the rest coming from left-wing Republican campaign consultants. The Michigan-based DeVos family, who make billions from both their multi-level marketing Amway corporation as well as sweetheart deals with the Communist Chinese government,

The DeVos family has historically funded liberal Republican candidates, primarily as a way to advance their family’s key political issues: protecting corporate welfare, promoting gay marriage, and defeating pro-Trump conservatives in primaries.

Grand Rapids’ murder rate is twice the national average.

Two weeks ago, a Tennessee jury acquitted three former Memphis police officers—Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, and Justin Smith—of all state charges including second-degree murder, in the 2023 death of Tyre Nichols. Nichols, a 29-year-old Black man, died after being beaten during a traffic stop by members of the Memphis Police Department’s now-disbanded SCORPION unit. After reviewing the video evidence, the jury found them not guilty.

What made the Memphis case unique was that all of the officers charged were Black, along with the defendant, complicating the media and elite’s attempt to frame Black deaths in police custody as being caused solely by alleged racism.

Two other officers involved, Emmitt Martin III and Desmond Mills Jr., had previously pleaded guilty to state and federal charges and testified against their former colleagues.

The media tried hard to convict the officers, all of whom were Black. Media efforts portrayed Tyre Nichols as wholly innocent and overlooked key facts about the incident, including that Nichols had a prior history of reckless driving and evading police—details largely ignored by national media.

Bodycam footage also showed Nichols fled after being pulled over, escalating the situation and creating confusion that complicated officers’ decision-making in the critical moments that followed.

The Nichols prosecution was led by Shelby County Deputy District Attorney Paul Hagerman. Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy said after the acquittal, “I’m very proud of the work that our trial team has done. They’ve worked very hard for a long time in preparing this case. They were very thoroughly prepared, and they fought really hard to get justice for Tyre Nichols.”

Memphis is the most dangerous city in America. Roughly 14% of reported crimes are “cleared” by the police.

Steve Mulroy has taken a reported $616,100 from George Soros.

When he gets a little break from his almost non-stop warmongering over the Ukraine conflict, French President tries to do a bit of work on his country’s manifold problems – but unsurprisingly, he finds his government to be a mess.

The latest in an endless list of crises is the new report into the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in France.

Expected for publication on Wednesday (21), it has been delayed after the report was leaked to conservative media.

IN the document, it is stated that the Muslim Brotherhood goes to great lengths to push its fundamentalist agenda across France and Europe.

Politico reported:

“A visibly angry Emmanuel Macron blasted his ministers during a defense cabinet meeting Wednesday after a botched release of a report into the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in France, according to a high-ranking government official.

A second official, who, like others quoted here, was granted anonymity to speak candidly, said the French president accused his ministers generally for not coming up with adequate solutions to counter the threat posed by the Islamist group.”

Macron exploded in the Cabinet meeting.

But Macron’s anger seems directed to Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau.

“Many in the French government have attributed the leak to Retailleau, a hardline conservative whose popularity has skyrocketed since joining Macron’s minority government in September. Retailleau on Sunday scored a landslide win to become the next leader of the Les Républicains, the historically dominant French center-right party relegated to political purgatory after Macron’s 2017 election upended French politics. Early polling indicates he could be a serious contender in the 2027 presidential election were he to run.”

Retailleau has publicly accused the Muslim Brotherhood of ‘trying to tip French society into Sharia law’.

Sources tell POLITICO that Macron threw a ‘fit’ at the meeting.

“The bickering is another sign that the attention of those in power has moved away from Macron toward the wide-open presidential election set to take place in fewer than two years, especially with Marine Le Pen of the far-right National Rally’s prospects in turmoil after her embezzlement conviction. She has repeatedly professed her innocence and could be allowed to run if an appeals court rules in her favor next year.”

When will Retailleau break with Macron and start his campaign ahead of the presidential election? Seems like it will be soon.
