Trump supporter and music icon Kid Rock posted videos on Saturday showing him saluting a military helicopter hovering near his Nashville, Tennessee, area home located on a high hilltop, prompting an investigation by the Army. Rock spoke with a local TV station about the Army investigating the flyby, saying of those involved, “I think they’re gonna be alright, my buddy is commander-in-chief.”

Reportedly, a pair of AH-64 Apache attack helicopters were on a training mission Saturday, flying by Rock’s home and also over a Nashville ‘No Kings’ rally.

Rock calls his home the Southern White House and modeled it after the real one in Washington, D.C.

CBS News reported on the Army investigation (excerpt)

Maj. Montrell Russell, a spokesman for the Army, said in a statement the Army is aware of the video that shows AH-64 Apache helicopters operating near Kid Rock’s house, located near Nashville.

“Army aviators must adhere to strict safety standards, professionalism, and established flight regulations,” Russell said. “An administrative review is underway to assess the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements. Appropriate action will be taken if any violations are found.”

Maj. Jonathon Bless, a spokesperson for the 101st Airborne Division, said the command has opened an investigation “to review the circumstances surrounding this activity.”

“The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell maintain strict standards for aviation safety, professionalism, and adherence to established flight regulations,” he said in a statement. “We take all concerns regarding aircraft operations and their impact on the surrounding community seriously.”

An Army official later confirmed to CBS News that the helicopters were conducting a training flight. The Army is reviewing why the helicopters appeared at Kid Rock’s house while on the training mission.

Rock did an interview with WKRN-TV about the flyby. Rock said he spoke with troops at Fort Campbell during a Thanksgiving visit with Vice President JD Vance last year about seeing them fly by his home and invited them to “cruise by” anytime. Rock said he had waved and cheered them before as they passed nearby. Rock said Saturday’s flyby was not planned and that he isn’t worried about the helicopter crew facing repercussions, saying, “I think they’re gonna be alright, my buddy is commander-in-chief.”

Even the propaganda masters over at CNN are starting to realize that the Radical Left’s war on border security is a losing battle.

CNN’s Brianna Keilar actually did something resembling journalism, cornering the disgraced Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) over the Democrats’ shameful obstruction of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding.

As The Gateway Pundit has been reporting for weeks, radical Democrats in the Senate and House have been holding the entire Department of Homeland Security hostage, refusing to pass a clean funding bill that fully supports ICE and CBP while the partial shutdown drags on.

Keilar pressed Swalwell on a basic and devastating question: if Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) already has sufficient funding to continue operations, then what exactly are Democrats accomplishing by blocking full DHS funding?

Clearly caught off guard by receiving a real question from a friendly network, Swalwell resorted to the most deranged rhetoric we’ve heard since the J6 committee disbanded.

The man who was famously compromised by a Chinese spy (Fang Fang) claimed that funding ICE and CBP is “essentially sanctioning or signing off on more public executions.”

Brianna Keilar:
House Republicans want DHS fully funded, including ICE. Democrats want to fund DHS minus ICE and some CBP. Realistically, though, ICE does have enough money to operate through the end of Trump’s term already, even without that funding the Democrats object to. What are you gaining as a party, uh, for the American people, if ICE is still going to be funded to operate either way here?

Eric Swalwell:
Well, the White House, by funding ICE and CBP, is essentially sanctioning or signing off on more public executions. You know, we saw what happened with a nurse named Preeti and a mom named Good, and I’m not going to co-sign on that. And I’m with 100 members of the Senate—Republicans and Democrats—who voted to fund every part of Homeland Security, including TSA, but not give more money to CBP or ICE.

That’s what Speaker Johnson should have done. I should be sitting in Washington voting on this right now, but instead Speaker Johnson sent Republicans home. And it doesn’t even make sense—he can’t even be on the same page with the Senate Republican leader, who recognizes it’s absurd to have millions of Americans wait in line at airports when the solution was passed 100 years ago.

Brianna Keilar:
Do you disagree with what I laid out there—that ICE has enough money, that there is enough money without the money that Democrats are objecting to? Because what are—what—

Eric Swalwell:
That’s why I don’t want more money.

Brianna Keilar:
But if they have enough, then how is it not just symbolic? Because at this point, you have a lot of people who are paying the price, right? A lot of attention has been paid to TSA—they, of course, are now getting paid because of the executive order. But it’s not just them, right? Civilians in the Coast Guard—they are going without, many of them in California. How long should they be prepared to work without a paycheck?

Eric Swalwell (00:01:57.08):
It’s not symbolic to a 6-year-old boy named Joseph in my district. A couple weeks ago, he and his family were arrested and deported, and he’s deaf, and he goes to a school for the deaf. ICE wouldn’t even allow him to take his assistive hearing devices with him. They sent him to Colombia within days.

My staff flew to Colombia and took the assistive living devices. So for Californians, you know, this is anything but symbolic—it’s real, it’s present. And I cannot sanction what they’re doing, co-sign on what they’re doing, or even symbolically give them more support, because these are people scared for their lives.

And the solution was right in front of us: do what the Senate did—don’t give them any more money, but fund everyone else like TSA. We can do that right now in the House of Representatives. Speaker Johnson should.

Brianna Keilar:
And how long do you think folks should expect this shutdown to continue?

Eric Swalwell:
It can end right now. You know, Brianna—and the president, if he says he’s paying TSA, who the hell knows? He doesn’t even seem to believe in Congress anymore. He’s in defiance of the Republican leader in the Senate.

Brianna Keilar:
Let me rephrase it: how long are Democrats prepared—how long are Democrats prepared to hold the line on where they are if there isn’t a change from Republicans?

Eric Swalwell:
I will continue to support paying TSA. I cannot support more public executions or deporting more little children like the 6-year-old in my district who was sent without his hearing devices to Colombia. I’m not in for that, and most Americans aren’t either.

Federal authorities have officially determined that the violent attack on a Michigan synagogue earlier this month was not random, but a calculated act of terrorism inspired by the Iran-backed terror group Hezbollah.

Detroit FBI Special Agent in Charge Jennifer Runyan dropped the bombshell at a press conference Monday, declaring the March 12th ramming attack on Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township a clear act of terrorism motivated by Hezbollah’s militant ideology.

“Based on the evidence gathered to date, we assess this attack to be a Hezbollah-inspired act of terrorism purposely targeting the Jewish community and the largest Jewish temple in Michigan,” Runyan stated.

“The FBI defines terrorism as a violent criminal act by an individual who is inspired by or associated with a designated foreign terrorist organization. We do not make this characterization lightly without a thorough review and keen evaluation of the facts. In this case, the evidence shows the attacker was motivated and inspired by Hezbollah’s militant ideology.”

Runyan continued: “Although the assailant’s attack planning and mobilization to violence began in earnest on March 9th, which I will fully detail here shortly, a review of his online activity since January 2026 revealed a recurring search history of pro-Hezbollah news channels, Iranian news channels, and videos about shootouts and bullets.

“He regularly consumed breaking news and statements and live coverage of the current Secretary General of Hezbollah, Na’im Qassem, and viewed news coverage about an Iranian fatwa for total jihad against the US military.”

The attacker has been identified as 41-year-old Ayman Mohamad Ghazali.

Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a Lebanese national who first entered the U.S. in 2011 on an IR1 immigrant visa as the spouse of a U.S. citizen. He was naturalized as a U.S. citizen in 2016 during the Obama administration.

Ghazali rammed his pickup truck loaded with gasoline, fireworks, and explosives into Temple Israel, exchanged gunfire with security, and ultimately died by suicide after his vehicle caught fire.

As The Gateway Pundit reported previously, Ghazali was no stranger to terror ties: his brother, Ibrahim Muhammad Ghazali, was a Hezbollah commander killed in an Israeli airstrike just days before the attack.

Second Lady Usha Vance sat down with NBC’s Kate Snow to discuss her growing family, her new podcast, and her political past.

In the interview, Snow stated, “In 2014, you were a registered Democrat.”

Snow continued, “You’re now clearly a Republican, you voted for your husband for Senate as public knowledge, I wonder if you feel fully comfortable in this universe you are in now?

The Second Lady replied, “What do you mean?”

Snow clarified, “In the political universe you’re in.”

Vance answered, “I do feel very comfortable in that no one has ever asked me to engage in any kind of litmus test on anything, and I feel very comfortable in that world.”

“I don’t feel like I have to walk around pretending anything of any sort. Sometimes I have thoughts that fit very comfortably into one side or another, sometimes I have views that are idiosyncratic,” concluded Vance.

The second lady, who was registered as a Democrat until at least 2014, told NBC News she and her husband don’t see eye to eye on every issue.

“I’m not his staffer. I’m not involved in this in any professional sense. … There’s no expectation that we are going to see eye to eye on everything,” Vance said.

“The expectation is that we are going to be open-minded and have a conversation, and that I’ll provide meaningful input from the perspective of someone who loves him and wants him to succeed. So even if we don’t agree, it’s − I think it’s always very productive,” she said. Vance shared her husband will seek her perspective on an issue that is troubling him or is personally important to him.

The second lady was also asked by NBC if she feels fully comfortable in the political universe she’s in now. Vance said she’s never felt pressure to conform to any policy ideas, even though her views don’t always fit neatly on the political spectrum, NBC reported.

Snow, who appeared to have a political agenda during the interview, later asked Usha whether she owned a MAGA hat.

The Second Lady, finding the question humorous, responded, “I don’t really own any hats. I think I have a, uh, a Disneyland hat, I wanna say. Not a hat lady.”

A number of people who were present at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th are seeking tens of millions in damages from the federal government.

Filed this week in Florida, the lawsuit targets the actions of the U.S. Capitol Police and Washington, D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department.

It alleges that law enforcement used excessive and “indiscriminate” force against protesters, resulting in physical and emotional injuries.

Officers allegedly fired rubber bullets, chemical spray, flashbangs, and other crowd-control measures in a reckless manner, affecting individuals who were not engaged in violence.

Attorneys argue that the response failed to distinguish between peaceful demonstrators and those involved in confrontations.

The lawsuit states:

This is a Federal Tort Claims Act (“FTCA”) class action seeking money damages for injuries caused when the police indiscriminately launched explosive munitions, chemical agents, and impact projectiles into a peaceful crowd and physically assaulted members of the crowd that was assembled on the west side outdoor terrace and grounds of the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The actions of the police caused physical and emotional injuries, including but not limited to chemical burns, concussive trauma, emotional distress, and other damages to plaintiffs, class members and thousands of other protesters.

…

The indiscriminate shooting of munitions into the crowd went on for well over an hour. The police admitted on video an hour after the shooting started that the munitions being shot into the crowd were “hitting innocent people.”

Among the lead plaintiffs is A.J. Fischer, an Air Force Veteran who was previously charged with assault before receiving a pardon from President Trump.

He is joined by Patrick and Marie Sullivan, who were present in the crowd and were struck by pepper balls and exposed to chemical agents, despite not facing any criminal charges.

The legal action seeks to establish a broader class of plaintiffs, potentially including dozens of others who were present on the Capitol’s West Front.

The case comes as the Trump administration has already reached settlements in other high-profile cases involving supporters.

These include a multimillion-dollar settlement with the estate of Ashli Babbitt, who was shot inside the Capitol, and a $1.25 million settlement with former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

A beautiful 16-year-old girl was gunned down in Glenview, Illinois, on Saturday morning.

According to reports, Lilly Bova, a high school sophomore, was fatally shot at an apartment complex where she lived with her older sister.

Law enforcement officials are refusing to release any information about the person of interest they are searching for amid reports the suspect is a “Hispanic male.”

A police scanner revealed the suspect was described as “armed and dangerous” and “male Hispanic.”

Police however are remaining mum on any details about the person of interest.

Glenbrook South High School is grieving one of their own.

Lilly Bova, a 16-year-old sophomore, was shot and killed Saturday.

The Cook County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to an apartment complex on Salem Walk in unincorporated Glenview.

Officers said they found the teen with a gunshot wound. First responders did CPR on Bova and took her to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where she later died.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt went off on the leftwing media during a press briefing on Monday, highlighting their refusal to cover illegal alien crime, namely the murder of 18-year-old Loyola University student Sheridan Gorman in Chicago. 

The teenage girl was shot and killed near campus in Chicago, Illinois, about a week ago by a 25-year-old illegal alien who entered the US under the Biden Regime and was later arrested, then released from local custody under Chicago’s sanctuary city policies.

Amid the ongoing Democrat-led shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security, it makes sense that the liberal media does not want to cover a story that alerts the American people to dangerous illegal aliens and warrants more ICE agents and deportations.

“It’s despicable that Democrats are currently defunding the department that’s responsible for removing illegal aliens like that,” Leavitt said on Monday. “And I would also add, it’s despicable that the lack of coverage of this young woman’s case, of her life, and the way that it was tragically cut short.”

She then pointed to a survey showing that ABC spent just over one minute covering the story on its network, while CBS had two minutes of coverage, and NBC gave Gorman’s tragic murder only 23 seconds of airtime.

“I think her life was worth more than 23 seconds on cable television, and I think the people in this room have a responsibility to report on cases like this because it just exemplifies why the President believes so strongly in deporting illegal aliens from our communities,” Leavitt said in her brutal takedown of the biased press.

Worse than ABC, CBS, and NBC, CNN and MS NOW haven’t even touched the story or mentioned Gorman’s name on their networks outside of carrying live speeches where her name was mentioned!

While ABC, CBS, and NBC have shown scant interest — just three minutes and 43 seconds — on their lead morning and evening shows in covering University of Loyola Chicago student Sheridan Gorman’s brutal March 19 murder, CNN and MS NOW have been even less interested in reporting on the murder allegedly at the hands of an illegal alien from Venezuela as neither has dedicated a single on-air story to this crime.

While there hasn’t been a single news report or dedicated segment to Gorman and the case, she has been either directly or indirectly mentioned 11 times on CNN and once on MS NOW in live remarks from the White House or Capitol Hill, or statements by Republican guests. In other words, Gorman’s name has not once been uttered by a host, reporter, or even paid network contributor.

Media Research Center analysts searched CNN’s transcripts page, Nexis, and Snapstream closed captioning searches from the evening of March 19 (specifically 8:00 p.m. Eastern, the first full hour after news broke of the suspect’s identity) through March 30, looking for mentions Sheridan Gorman (including separate searches for her first name, last name, and both), Chicago, and Loyola.

As of this story’s publication, these searches spanned 186 possible hours of news programming on CNN and 151 hours on MS NOW.

The only time MS NOW viewers might have been inclined to research for Gorman’s case came Friday afternoon when it carried remarks from Speaker Mike Johnson about Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding

A Pakistani Christian is awaiting a possible death sentence after allegedly downloading “blasphemous material” on social media.

Ishtiaq Saleem, 34, is a father and a sanitation worker from Islamabad. He was arrested in November 2022 for allegedly downloading the material, and has languished in prison as his case proceeds, according to a March 10 release from ADF International.

The legal advocacy group said that Saleem fell victim to the “Blasphemy Business Group” — a network accused of “fabricating blasphemy accusations to entrap individuals for the purpose of blackmail and extortion.”

The entity reportedly works with Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency to pin blasphemy charges on Christians and other religious minorities.

Rao Abdur Rahim, the lead prosecution counsel in the Saleem case, also happens to be the leader of the Blasphemy Business Group.

In Pakistan, blasphemy laws are a major threat to Christians, violating their right to freely and peacefully worship.

Ishtiaq Saleem, a Christian father, has been imprisoned for 3 years and could soon be given the DEATH PENALTY, all because of his faith.

That raises “serious concerns about the fairness of the proceedings,” ADF International noted.

Saleem’s trial is now over, but Muhammad Umair, who is accused alongside Saleem, still has ongoing court proceedings.

That means a verdict will likely be decided when those proceedings are over as well.

“Ishtiaq committed no wrong and was simply living his life as a Christian in Pakistan when he was arrested. He has now spent three years behind bars, separated from his family,” Tehmina Arora, the director of advocacy at ADF International for Asia, said in the release.

“No one should face the threat of death or years in prison based on fabricated accusations of blasphemy. Cases like this illustrate the immense pressure faced by Christians and religious minorities in Pakistan.”

While awaiting a verdict, Saleem has appealed numerous times for bail, but his applications have been denied by lower courts and even the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

While Saleem remains under tremendous threat because of his Christian faith, ADF International is “hopeful that the trial has exposed significant weaknesses in the prosecution’s case and the misuse of the blasphemy laws to exhort and harass religious minorities.”

They are hoping for an acquittal so that Saleem can return to his family.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the President is calling on Congress to return to Washington, DC, to “do its job” and reopen the government after lawmakers fled town on vacation, leaving many Department of Homeland Security employees without a paycheck. 

This comes after the Senate passed a garbage funding bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security, but without funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and ditched town.

President Trump on Sunday called the Senate’s funding measure “a shame” and said the Senate Republicans need to stop “playing it too soft” and terminate the filibuster while speaking to reporters on Air Force One. Of Senate Leader Thune, Trump said, “I like him so much. He’s a high-quality person,” but added that he needs to step it up and lead in order to pass the SAVE America Act and reopen the government with full funding for DHS.

Trump on Friday signed an executive order authorizing pay for TSA agents to alleviate the chaos at airports, but other functions of DHS, including the Coast Guard, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Administration, remain defunded.

When asked by a reporter how long Trump’s funding for TSA can last, Leavitt slammed Congress, stating, “the President just can’t keep signing presidential memorandums and proclamations every time Congress fails to do its job and every time Democrats are holding our entire country hostage, picking and choosing which programs and agencies they want to fund just because they don’t like this administration’s policies.”

“That’s not how it’s supposed to work,” she said, adding that Trump is “encouraging Congress to come back to Washington to permanently fix this problem and to fund and reopen the Department of Homeland Security entirely.”

Leavitt: Well, we certainly hope so. I mean, of course, the President just can’t keep signing presidential memorandums and proclamations every time Congress fails to do its job and every time Democrats are holding our entire country hostage, picking and choosing which programs and agencies they want to fund just because they don’t like this administration’s policies.

That’s not how it’s supposed to work. They voted seven times against funding DHS over partisan and political reasons, and so again, the President has stepped in to do the right thing at this moment in time, but the President is also encouraging Congress to come back to Washington to permanently fix this problem and to fund and reopen the Department of Homeland Security entirely.

Leavitt later went off on Congress again, calling the need for White House intervention to fund critical agencies “ridiculous” and demanding that Congress “come back” to “do its job.”

The President will always look into ways that we can make sure that the American people are being taken care of and doing what’s right by the American people. But again, it’s ridiculous that the President even has to go to the length of working with the legal team and the Office of Management and Budget to identify these funds. It is the job of Congress to fund these agencies. And Democrats in Congress have voted seven times against funding the Department of Homeland Security. Congress should come back, and they should get it done. The President, again, made the decision to prevent this existential crisis we were seeing at our nation’s airports across the country that was only going to get worse, and that’s why he wants Congress to do its job.

She further confirmed that President Trump has urged Congress to cancel Easter recess and is even offering to hold an Easter dinner at the White House if Congress returns to session over the holiday.

Leavitt: He said it repeatedly. I think you recall he said that he’ll host a big Easter dinner here at the White House if Congress will come back and fight the Democrats on this issue, which we should do because, again, the Democrat Party is in the wrong here. They have voted seven times against funding the Department of Homeland Security, which is completely egregious with everything we have going on in the world, and these brave men and women who serve DHS deserve to get their paychecks. The President wants to see that happen, and he wants Congress to come back to get it done.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Lindsey Graham was spotted at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, over the weekend, strutting around with a toy bubble wand in hand, as DHS employees are trying to figure out how they’re going to eat with no paycheck.

Golf legend Tiger Woods is dating President Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law, Vanessa, but is barred by the Secret Service from driving her children around due to his apparent substance-abuse issues.

That’s what a source told the New York Post in the wake of Woods’ latest car crash and DUI arrest in Florida last week.

Woods, a longtime friend of the president, has been dating Vanessa Trump since 2024.

Vanessa has five children with Donald Trump, Jr. The couple divorced in 2018.

Despite his friendship with the president, the Secret Service agents tasked with guarding Trump’s family won’t allow Woods to drive the President’s grandchildren around.

The agents are “certainly not letting Tiger Woods — even without the DUI” drive the kids, the source told the Post.

Woods was arrested and charged with driving under the influence on Friday after clipping another vehicle and rolling his car on Jupiter Island, Florida.

The golf great was previously arrested for DUI in 2017, after being found asleep at the wheel of a running car.

After crashing his car last week, Woods passed a Breathalyzer test — registering 0.00 percent for alcohol — but refused to provide a urine sample, evidently because he has been taking prescription pain medication for years to treat chronic injuries.

The president offered nothing but support for his “very close friend” when asked about Woods’ accident on Friday.

“I feel so badly. He’s got some difficulty. There was an accident and that’s all I know. Very close friend of mine,” Trump told reporters.

“He’s an amazing person, amazing man. But some difficulty,” the president added.

Trump, who has been friends with Woods for two decades, has golfed with him numerous times and hosted him at the White House.

At a time when celebrities cravenly cave to pressure from liberal mobs, Woods has been a steadfast Trump supporter for 20 years.

Like everyone else, Woods, 50, is clearly wrestling with some personal demons.

Hopefully, he can channel his legendary self-discipline to conquer his substance issues and emerge healthier and more resilient than ever.
