PressTV is the Iranian regime’s propaganda channel, which broadcasts in both English and Hebrew, vilifying the U.S. and Israel.

When mass protests erupted across Iran in late December 2025, driven by economic collapse and public fury at the regime, the Islamic Republic responded on two fronts simultaneously. Security forces killed thousands in the streets. But the regime’s propaganda apparatus launched an equally aggressive campaign, designed not just to survive the crisis, but to turn it into a weapon against its foreign enemies.

A detailed analysis published in February 2026 by the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) documents how Tehran deployed a structured, phased information warfare strategy during the December 2025 to January 2026 protests. The findings reveal a regime that treats narrative control as essential to its survival and never stops targeting Israel and the West. At the same time, many of its own citizens despise the government so much that they are willing to risk being shot for a chance to speak out against it.

Iran’s information warfare apparatus developed as a practical response to the country’s conventional military limitations. Iran’s primary enemies are the US and Israel, and it has long been believed that Iran could not beat the US in a direct military conflict. Consequently, the regime has made information warfare a central strategic pillar of its survival.

The system combines ideological messaging, psychological pressure, targeted disinformation, media management, and digital network coordination to shape how domestic and foreign audiences perceive events. Its goals are consistent: to portray the United States as hypocritical and aggressive, to frame Israel as the primary enemy in a broader civilizational struggle, and to maintain the regime’s grip on power against any challenger.

The machinery is organized in a clear top-down structure. Khamenei or senior officials issue the core narrative. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and its media divisions translate those directives into operational content, arrests, confessions, documentary videos, and alleged field evidence.

A sprawling network of semi-official Telegram, Twitter, Instagram, and other channels in multiple languages, operating under the banner of the “axis of resistance,” then amplifies the message globally.

When protests first broke out, the regime’s initial response was carefully calibrated. Pro-government channels largely avoided the subject, apparently hoping the demonstrations would simply fade. When that failed, Khamenei addressed the situation directly on January 3, acknowledging that economic frustration was legitimate, while drawing a sharp distinction between peaceful protesters and what he characterized as “mercenaries” seeking to destabilize the state.

By conceding that some grievances were valid, the regime insulated itself from accusations of complete indifference. By defining violent protesters as rioters rather than dissidents, it established the justification for lethal suppression. The message was aimed primarily at the Iranian public and at security forces who needed ideological cover for the crackdown to come.

By January 9, as the protests intensified and international attention grew, the regime shifted from vague references to “mercenaries” to explicit accusations against the United States and Israel. Khamenei’s speech that day established what would become the dominant narrative for the remainder of the crisis: the protests were not an organic expression of Iranian discontent but a coordinated foreign operation, a covert act of war by Washington and Tel Aviv against the Iranian people.

The IRGC followed with what it presented as supporting evidence: arrested agents, confessional videos, and alleged documentation of foreign weapons distribution. The narrative divided protesters into two categories: paid foreign operatives at the top, and manipulated, innocent young Iranians who had been deceived into serving enemy agendas.

This framework accomplished several things at once. It delegitimized the protests. It allowed the regime to position itself as the defender of ordinary Iranians against external predators. And it provided retroactive justification for the massacre of thousands.

Three sub-themes ran through this phase. First, American hypocrisy: the United States, which had struck Iranian territory during the 12-Day War of June 2025, was now presenting itself as a champion of the Iranian people’s freedom. The regime hammered this contradiction relentlessly, packaging it in visually striking Telegram posts showing Trump being compared directly to the suffering of Iranian civilians.

Second, economic motivation: U.S. interest in Iran, the regime argued, was always about oil and resources, not human rights, drawing explicit parallels to American actions in Venezuela days earlier. Third, domestic U.S. instability: pro-government channels amplified footage of anti-ICE protests in American cities, suggesting that Trump had no standing to lecture anyone about governance.

Once the protests had been bloodily suppressed, the regime pivoted to a victory narrative. Beginning around January 12, official and affiliated channels shifted their messaging to portray the crackdown as a historic triumph of the Iranian nation over foreign conspiracy. Pro-government rallies were staged and filmed. Senior officials made public appearances projecting confidence. The “great Iranian nation,” in the language of state media, had faced down its enemies and prevailed.

The victory narrative served the domestic audience primarily, providing psychological closure, reinforcing the regime’s claim to popular legitimacy, and shutting down any remaining space for organized resistance. For external audiences, it was designed to rebut Western media coverage of the massacre, presenting a stable government with broad public support instead.

In the final phase, following Khamenei’s January 17 speech, the regime moved to recontextualize the entire episode within its broader confrontation with the West. The protests were no longer a domestic disturbance that had been suppressed; they were a new front in a war that had never actually ended. The June 2025 twelve-day conflict with Israel, in this telling, was merely a tactical pause. The unrest of December and January was the enemy’s next offensive, and Iran had repelled it.

This reframing served a crucial mobilization function. Casting the protests as an act of war transformed what had been a crisis of legitimacy into a national security emergency requiring unified public support. It also served as a warning to the international community: any future Iranian retaliation for the protests, against U.S. or Israeli targets, would be framed as a continuation of legitimate self-defense.

One of the report’s most significant findings is that throughout this entire domestic crisis, Iran’s foreign influence operations against Israel and the West continued uninterrupted, and in some respects intensified.

PressTV’s Hebrew-language channel sustained a steady stream of content designed to portray Israel as economically declining, politically fragmented, and morally discredited. Press TV is a state-owned media organization directly funded and controlled by the Iranian government. It operates as the English-language division of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), which is the only legal broadcaster within Iran. The Hebrew-language service is the latest expansion of this state media apparatus targeted at Israel. The head of the IRIB was appointed directly by the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, until his death on February 28, 2026. The content is unsurprisingly pro-regime and anti-U.S. and anti-Israel.

Hebrew-language articles highlighted coalition instability, internal protests, ultra-Orthodox confrontations with security forces, and demographic pressures, all framed to erode Israeli public confidence and sustain a sense of internal decay.

English-language channels targeted American audiences with footage of domestic unrest, framing U.S. political divisions as evidence of systemic collapse. Iranian-affiliated networks also sent threatening text messages directly to Israeli civilians’ phones, urging recipients to watch the sky at midnight in anticipation of strikes, a psychological operation designed to induce fear and undermine civilian morale without firing a single missile.

The regime’s ability to sustain coordinated foreign influence operations while simultaneously managing a catastrophic domestic uprising suggests that this system is deeply institutionalized and not easily disrupted.

For the United States, Israel, and allied governments now engaged in Operation Epic Fury, this has direct implications. Iran’s capacity to shape narratives about the current conflict, framing military strikes as atrocities, portraying Western governments as aggressors, mobilizing proxy audiences from Nigeria to Pakistan, is not a secondary concern. It is an active component of the battlefield.

Palantir CEO Says AI Will Take Power Away From Democratic Voters and Toward Working-Class Men (VIDEO)

Alex Karp, during an interview with CNBC on Thursday.

Palantir CEO Alex Karp has said that artificial intelligence (AI) could shift economic influence away from highly educated voters who tend to support Democrats and toward vocationally trained, working-class men.

In an interview with CNBC, Karp discussed the broader societal impact of artificial intelligence and how it is expected to transform employment.

“This technology disrupts humanities-trained, largely Democratic voters, and makes their economic power less.”

“And increases the economic power of vocationally trained, working-class, often male, uh voters,” Karp said.

“So these disruptions are gonna disrupt every aspect of our society,” he said.

“To make this work, we have to come to an agreement of what it is we’re going to do with the technology; how are we gonna explain to people who are likely gonna have less good, and less interesting jobs.”

The data analytics and artificial intelligence company, which was founded by Trump backer Peter Thiel, builds platforms designed to analyze enormous datasets and is widely used by governments, intelligence agencies, and major corporations.

Palantir first gained prominence for its work with U.S. intelligence and defense agencies, including the CIA, the Department of Defense, and other national security bodies.

Its software has been used for counterterrorism analysis, military planning, and intelligence operations.

In recent years, the company has also expanded into commercial sectors, providing data and artificial intelligence platforms to companies in industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, finance, and energy.

However, Karp insisted that the technology still carries serious risks but that America must win the AI race against adversaries such as China.

“These technologies are dangerous societally,” Karp said.

“The only justification you could possibly have would be that if we don’t do it, our adversaries will do it,” he continued. “And we will be subject to their rule of law.”

“Why is it that we’re absorbing the risk of disrupting the very fabric of our society, including the most powerful parts of our society, if it’s not because it’s about maintaining our ability to be American in the near term and long term?” he said.

Karp has previously suggested America has empathy for everyone except for working-class white males.

New Bill to Ban Abortion Pill Hits Senate

Microscopic view of a developing embryo in a gestational sac, showcasing early stages of human development surrounded by maternal tissue.

Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri on Wednesday announced he is introducing a bill that would ban the abortion pill on the grounds that it is a danger to the women who take it.

“The science is clear: the chemical abortion drug is inherently dangerous to women and prone to abuse. Yet major companies like Danco Laboratories are making billions off it,” the pro-life senator said, according to a news release on Hawley’s website.

He said the bill would not only ban mifepristone, but also “empower women to sue its manufacturers. Congress must act now to protect the health and safety of women.”

Republican Rep. Diana Harshbarger of Tennessee said she would introduce a companion version of the bill in the House.

“Evidence now suggests that the real-world risks to women are far greater than the federal government has acknowledged,” she said in the news release. “That’s why I’m proud to join Senator Hawley in introducing the Safeguarding Women from Chemical Abortion Act, to restore accountability and help ensure that women’s health — not politics — guides federal drug policy.”

The release stated almost 11 percent of women who use the drug have a serious health complication within 45 days.

“Because the drug comes in capsule form and because it is at this juncture almost completely unregulated, it is inherently prone to abuse,” Hawley said, according to WGN-TV in Chicago.

“Over the years, one liberal administration after another, President Obama and then President Biden, removed almost all of the safety protocols around mifepristone such that today it is almost wholly unregulated,” he said. “They did it because of abortion politics. They did it because they wanted to turn mifepristone into the driver of abortion on demand.”

During a Wednesday media event, several women who took mifepristone said the drug multiplied the effects of killing their babies, according to a report about Hawley’s bill published by the World News Group, an explicitly Christian news organization based in Asheville, North Carolina.

One woman quoted in the World New Group’s report said the bleeding she experienced was so intense that she was put on life support.

“I developed a severe infection behind my uterus that went undetected until it became life-threatening. My condition deteriorated so rapidly that I was rushed into the ICU,” she said, according to WGN, noting she had a partial hysterectomy.

“I was [in a] medically induced coma for a month. During this time, I required several blood transfusions,” she said.

Hawley’s website included statements from pro-life leaders praising the bill, noting that mail-order abortion is one reason the United States actually saw an increase in abortions after the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade:

“The Biden-era policy that enabled the abortion industry to adopt an ‘Amazon-style’ model—shipping abortion drugs directly to doorsteps across America, even into states where unborn life is protected—has contributed to a dramatic increase in the killing of unborn children following the overturning of Roe v. Wade, rather than the decrease many expected,” said Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council.

Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of SBA Pro-Life America, said the bill addressed the biggest issue in abortion availability.

“The number 1 factor making abortion America’s top cause of death is mail-order abortion drugs, a dangerous relic of the Covid and Biden era that inexplicably continues to this day. This makes it impossible for states to protect women and children, creating a severe public health crisis,”  Dannenfelser said.

Lila Rose, Founder and President of Live Action, said the bill is overdue.

The abortion pill “has fueled a deadly and deeply inhumane abortion industry that has killed millions of preborn babies and leaves women abandoned to suffer the physical and emotional consequences alone,” she said.

“For years, the abortion lobby has marketed these drugs as safe and easy while concealing the truth: nearly every time a pregnant mother takes the abortion pill, it ends the life of her living human child, and far too many women are left without real medical care when they are hemorrhaging or have a blood infection due to the abortion pill.”

As noted by KMOV-TV in St. Louis, Hawley introduced the bill last year, but it did not pass.

Senate Democrats Block DHS Funding Bill as Jihadists Attack Homeland

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer delivering a speech on the Senate floor, wearing glasses and a suit, with an American flag pin on his lapel.

Senate Democrats on Thursday once again blocked funding for the Department of Homeland Security as Islamic terrorists attack the homeland.

The motion to proceed failed in a 51-46 vote.

Democrat Senator John Fetterman voted with the Republicans to advance the DHS funding bill.

The Hill reported:

Senate Democrats on Thursday defeated a motion to proceed to a House-passed bill to reopen the Department of Homeland Security and end the 27-day shutdown that has hampered the functions of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and other critical agencies.

The motion failed by a vote of 51 to 46. Centrist Sen. John Fetterman (Pa.) was the only Democrat to vote with Republicans to advance the funding bill. It needed 60 votes to advance.

It marked the fourth time since Feb. 12 that Democrats have voted to block Homeland Security funding legislation.

The vote capped a day of skirmishes on the Senate floor between Democrats and Republicans on how to break the funding deadlock.

Democrats voted against the Homeland Security appropriations bill because it includes funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), two agencies they say need reforms after immigration agents shot and killed two U.S. citizens in Minneapolis.

On Thursday, there were two separate Islamic terror attacks in the US.

36-year-old Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, who was previously convicted of providing material support for ISIS, opened fire at Old Dominion University on Thursday morning.

One person died, and another was wounded.

According to reports, Jalloh shouted Allahu Akbar as he opened fire.

Later Thursday, a naturalized US citizen from Lebanon attacked a synagogue in Michigan.

41-year-old Ayman Mohamad Ghazali rammed his vehicle into Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township and opened fire.

Armed security engaged him, and he was found deceased and badly burned in his vehicle.

The FBI said both attacks are being investigated as terrorism.

CNN’s Hack Abby Phillip Forced to Issue Humiliating On-Air Correction After FALSELY Claiming Islamist Terror Attack in NYC Targeted Socialist Mayor Mamdani

CNN news anchor delivering live coverage with a professional backdrop, highlighting current events and news updates.
CNN host Abby Phillip delivers an on-air correction after falsely claiming an ISIS-inspired bombing attempt in New York City specifically targeted Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Far-left host Abby Phillip was caught red-handed spreading a massive lie this week, forced into a humiliating on-air correction after she shamelessly lied about an Islamist terror attack in New York City.

In a desperate attempt to smear House Republicans, Phillip claimed that an ISIS-linked bombing was targeted at NYC’s socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the chaos unfolded on Saturday when 18-year-old Amir Balat and 19-year-old Ibrahim Nick, launched homemade bombs during an anti-Islam protest organized by former January 6 political prisoner Jake Lang, who was pardoned by President Trump last year.

According to the New York Post, authorities said the homemade device was constructed using sports drink bottles packed with triacetone triperoxide (TATP)—a highly unstable explosive widely favored by terrorists and often referred to as the “Mother of Satan.”

Federal authorities are digging deeper, revealing that these aren’t just misguided kids; they’re part of a broader network with alarming links to foreign radicals.

Following the attack, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) responded with an extremely provocative comment that infuriated the left: Muslims do not belong in the United States.

“Muslims don’t belong in American society,” Ogles wrote on X. “Pluralism is a lie.”

This remark came less than one month after Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) set the Internet on fire with his comments toward a Muslim leftist who called for banning dogs as indoor pets.

“If they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one,” Fine wrote.

Phillip seemingly saw an opportunity to smear Fine and Ogles while insinuating they were partly to blame for the terror attack. And she did so by outright lying about Muslim NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani being the target.

“Two Republicans say Muslims don’t belong here after an attempted terror attack on New York City’s mayor, Zohran Mamdani. And the House Speaker, Mike Johnson, says nothing to really condemn these comments,” Phillip said to her dwindling audience.

WATCH:

After getting blasted on X, Phillip frantically tried to do damage control on X. She corrected the despicable lie but said her wording was merely ‘inaccurate’ and an ‘error.’

“I want to correct something I said last night,” Phillip wrote. “The bombs thrown in New York City over the weekend by ISIS inspired attackers was thrown into a crowd of anti-Muslim protestors and not specifically targeted at Mayor Mamdani.”

“That wording was inaccurate and I didn’t catch it ahead of time. I apologize for the error.”

Was it really a misreport, or did she deliberately twist the facts on purpose?

Then she was forced to retract it live on air.

“But first, this morning, I issued a correction first thing in the morning on X for a mistake that I made in last night’s show, but I also wanted to do so on air as well. I incorrectly said that the bombs that were thrown by ISIS-inspired suspects in New York over the weekend were directed at Mayor Mamdani. They were not. I failed to catch and correct that mistake in real-time, and I take full responsibility for that. While we do make mistakes, it is important to acknowledge and correct those errors when they happen.”

WATCH:

Classic CNN. A “hack” host like Abby Phillip doesn’t just “misspeak” when it comes to smearing conservatives and shielding radical Islamists, she pushes a narrative until she gets caught red-handed.

The attack wasn’t some random act against the socialist mayor; it was ISIS-inspired thugs targeting Americans brave enough to protest the Islamic takeover of New York City right outside Mamdani’s own mansion.

Yet Phillip couldn’t resist framing it as an attack on the mayor to score cheap political points against Republicans. Only after the backlash did she scramble to “correct” it while still downplaying the Islamist motive and the real victims, the anti-Islam protesters.

Zelensky is becoming unhinged for all to see.

With the crisis in Iran and the closure of the Hormuz Strait taking up all the oxygen in the news cycles, the war in Ukraine has lost space in the headlines and in the hearts and minds of Western countries.

And that is making Volodymyr Zelensky, the ‘cStrait taking up all the oxygen in the news cycles, the war in Ukraine has lost space in the headlines and in the hearts and minds of Western champions of democracy, whose presidential term ended back in 2024, a very irritable person.

And he is making fewer and fewer efforts to conceal his impatient state of mind.

Politico reports:

“In recent weeks the Ukrainian president has sharpened his rhetoric toward both critics and allies, rebuking European leaders for moving too slowly on support, trading barbs with Hungary’s Viktor Orbán, and openly questioning Donald Trump’s approach to the war.”

When the Politico report says ‘trading barbs’ with Orbán, you can read: ‘Ze’ threatened to unleash his military on him – a member of NATO.

“’Zelensky’s comment was stupid’, said Peter Krekó of Political Capital, an independent political research consultancy in Budapest. […] The Ukrainian leader’s comment was highly irresponsible.”

“The tougher tone reflects mounting frustration in Kyiv as peace talks stall and financial support hangs in the balance — but even those close to Zelensky warn the rhetoric risks alienating the very partners Ukraine relies on for money, weapons and diplomatic backing.”

Ex-Miss California Booted from Trump Religious Liberty Panel After Allegedly Trying to “Hijack” Antisemitism Hearing — Immediately Turns on Trump in Bitter Public Attack

Woman with long hair in a green blazer uses a smartphone during a meeting, with a man in a suit seated beside her.

The Trump administration swiftly removed former Miss California USA winner Carrie Prejean Boller from the White House Religious Liberty Commission after officials accused her of attempting to “hijack” a hearing on antisemitism to advance a personal political agenda.

The dramatic fallout has quickly turned into a public feud, with Prejean Boller launching a blistering attack on President Donald Trump and members of the commission after her removal.

According to Fox News, the decision to remove Prejean Boller was praised by multiple religious leaders and conservatives who argued that the commission’s purpose is to defend religious liberty, not serve as a platform for controversial personal activism.

“Carrie Prejean was thrown off the Religious Liberty Commission, and thank God,” a former Trump White House official told Fox News. “These commissions exist to advance the President’s agenda, not to serve as a personal Jew-hating platform.”

The controversy began during a hearing on antisemitism in the United States when Prejean Boller reportedly clashed with witnesses and other participants.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, who chairs the commission, said she attempted to derail the proceedings by steering the discussion toward unrelated political issues.

Patrick said she sought to “hijack a hearing” on antisemitism in order to promote “her own personal and political agenda.”

During the hearing, Prejean Boller said, “I am a Catholic, and Catholics don’t embrace Zionism.”

More from Fox News:

Conservatives and others on social media celebrated her ouster while condemning her remarks at the hearing.

“The only one who brought up Zionism at the event was… Carrie Prejean Boller,” account Bonchie posted. “Classic grifter play happening here. Cause a scene of her own making, claim to be the victim, profit. A story as old as time.”

“Whatever you think of the rest of Carrie Prejean Boller’s views, wearing a Palestinian flag to a hearing on religious liberty is disgraceful,” Jim Hanson, president of WorldStrat information warfare firm and chief editor of the Middle East Forum, posted.

[…]

Patrick said he personally made the decision to remove her, while Prejean Boller responded on X that only the president could order her removal.

“You did not appoint me to the Commission, and you lack authority to remove me from it,” Prejean Boller wrote on X in response to Patrick. “This is a gross overstepping of your role and leads me to believe you are acting in alignment with a Zionist political framework that hijacked the hearing, rather than in defense of religious liberty.”

Cruz shot back on X: “Let’s be clear: it was President Trump who fired her.”

Prejean Boller also publicly praised the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Prejean Boller has refused to back down and has instead launched an extraordinary public attack against the Trump administration.

In a lengthy open letter addressed to the president, she accused the commission of being controlled by what she called a “Zionist political framework” and claimed her removal violated her religious freedom.

She also alleged that the commission had been “hijacked” by foreign interests and accused Trump of betraying the MAGA movement.

Prejean Boller also declared that she would “never bend the knee to the state of Israel.”

Read her open letter below:

“I’m shocked that the removal of the only Catholic woman on the Religious Liberty Commission was handled through a brief email from a staffer rather than a direct conversation with the President who appointed me. This is the same staffer who called me back in August asking for my resignation at the behest of Zionist heretics Dan Patrick and Paula White. This is when the witch hunt against me began.

For someone who served faithfully and defended religious liberty I believe I deserved at least the basic respect of a phone call or formal letter from you. After all, you’re not bashful about firing people. I guess American citizens are treated with less dignity than a foreign leader accused of war crimes.

I will never forget the day I got the call you were appointing me to the Religious Liberty Commission. Standing in the Oval Office the day you signed the executive order establishing this commission was one of the most memorable moments of my life.

I served in this position with great humility and honor. I believed in the mission. I believed in protecting religious freedom for all Americans. I believed you cared about protecting religious freedom here in America, not forcing Americans to adopt a political ideology that serves a foreign country.

For months I spent time away from my family and countless hours preparing reports after each hearing. looked forward to meeting with you in May to present my recommendations for strengthening religious liberty in America. Instead, I now find myself fighting for my own religious freedom while serving on the very commission created to defend the religious freedom of every American.

During my time on the Commission, I stood up for Americans whose voices were not being heard. I stood with desperate mothers whose religious exemptions were denied and whose children could not attend school due to a vaccine mandate.

I spoke at school board meetings defending parental rights for families whose children should never be forced to read material that contradicts their faith. I met with nurses who lost their jobs for refusing the COVID vaccine because of their religious convictions. I stood with Navy Seals who lost their pensions simply for standing by their religious beliefs. Many pleaded with me for help.

I stayed up late at night burdened by the religious liberty violations I was witnessing with my own eyes. Many of them were discarded by our government for standing by their faith. Now it appears I am being discarded the same way.

Likewise, I wept with Americans watching a genocide unfold before their very eyes, feeling hopeless as their tax dollars were going to fund this genocide. I consoled Palestinians who have lost everything in their homeland. Their houses, land, and property stolen by foreigners claiming a right to colonize and occupy them.

I spoke to mothers whose children were starving, pleading for food and water, a desperate plea to show the world their lives are worth defending. I couldn’t stay silent, in the midst of thier suffering.

In Matthew 25:35-40 Jesus equates service to the hungry, thirsty, naked, sick, and imprisoned with service to Himself, stating that helping the vulnerable is helping Him. I am a follower of Christ, and I live my life to do the will of Him.

I spoke with students who were protesting the grave suffering of Palestinians at the hands of the Israeli government in Gaza. Many of them were using their First Amendment rights to peacefully protest, only to be labeled terrorists and antisemites.

I met with Christian and Muslim Palestinians who were displaced into an open air prison in Gaza. They continue to pray for truly free Palestine someday. I pray along with them. All they want is freedom.

Antisemitism cannot be used as a shield to silence speech. This is a dangerous threat to our First Amendment rights as Americans. My faith has always been central to who I am.

You stood by me in 2009 when I lost my title as Miss California after publicly standing for my Christian beliefs. I was only 21 years old when I gave that speech with you standing next to me.

I shared in my speech something my grandfather always told me: “You’re an American, Carrie. I fought for your freedoms. Don’t ever let anyone take them away from you.” Those words I cherish onto today.

My deeply held religious beliefs define who I am and who I have always been, which is why I will now allow my religious freedom to be taken from me.

You knew exactly who I was when you appointed me. I may not have a prestigious title or a large organization behind my name, but I have conviction, heart, and an unwavering commitment to the Christian principles I stand for.

I stood on that commission stage with some of the most well-respected people in America. What I realized is that many of them are too afraid to speak out and be labeled an antisemite simply for not supporting the political state of Israel.

None of them were willing to speak up and defend my religious freedom to not support a political ideology and false theology. But the Lord knew why He put me on that stage once again, to stand for Him, even if it means standing alone.

My faith in Christ means more to me than any position or title. I have not changed one bit since the day you stood beside me in 2009. That is why it is so shocking to now be removed from a Religious Liberty Commission for doing the very same thing you once defended.

I stood firmly by the Catholic Church’s perennial teachings and I was punished for it. I’ll never forget when Paula White and Dan Patrick told me I was not allowed to post on social media or speak in interviews about Israel and Gaza.

He told me I had to stay off social media and my job on this commission is to protect the President. I disagree. My job on this commission is to protect religious freedom.

My tamily has served this country with honor. We are a family of Italian immigrants. My great-grandparents came to America with little but faith and determination to work for the American dream.

I am the product of those hardworking immigrants who were proud to become Americans and helped build the backbone of this nation. My grandfather fought in World War Il and earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.

My sister served two tours in Afghanistan and even missed the birth of her niece, my daughter, while she was deployed. Service to this country runs deep in my family. That is why this moment is such a betrayal.

My Catholic faith is not something I hide. It is part of who I am, and it is woven into the story of America itself. Catholics helped build this nation.

For generations Catholics faced discrimination and hostility in this country simply for their faith. In many places Catholics were barred from political office and excluded from schools because they were Catholic. Catholic churches and convents were even burned in anti-Catholic riots in cities like Philadelphia and Boston in the 1800s.

Yet Catholics stayed, worked, and built. Catholic immigrants laid railroad tracks, labored in steel mills, worked in factories and mines, and raised families rooted in faith and sacrifice.

They built churches, hospitals, schools, and charities that continue to serve Americans today. I am a product of those Catholic Italian immigrants.

My confirmation saint, Mother Frances Xavier Cabrini who came to America with nothing and spent her life serving immigrants, the poor, and the forgotten. She built hospitals, schools, and orphanages because she believed every human life had dignity.

That is the Catholic faith I am proud to stand for today. Which is why it is unacceptable that a Catholic voice defending Church Tradition would be removed from a Religious Liberty Commission. Why are my first amendment rights not being upheld?

For nearly twenty years I have stood by you. I attended both of your inaugurations. I went to your rallies. I defended you publicly when it was not popular to do so. I stood by you when you were called every name imaginable.

I wore the red Make America Great Again hat proudly when it was not popular, or even safe, to do so because l believed in what you were fighting for. Now, I don’t even recognize you.

At the February hearing I was accused of “hijacking” the proceedings with my own political agenda. The truth is that a foreign political agenda hijacked what was supposed to be an American religious liberty hearing. I did exactly what commissioners are supposed to do. I asked questions.

Those questions I asked came from a real concern for defining the definition of antisemitism, as well as my Catholic religious beliefs. Also, my deep concern for the dignity of innocent human life being killed in Gaza.

Innocent Palestinians who have been starved, gunned down, bombed, limbs blown off, children orphaned, all with the support of our own government. Catholics do not believe the modern state of Israel fulfills biblical prophecy.

The Church teaches that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Old Covenant and that through Him the People of God are gathered into the New Covenant. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches, “The Church is the new People of God.”

Asking me to deny that Catholic teaching in order to satisfy a political ideology is itself a violation of my religious freedom. I have a duty to defend the religious liberty of Catholics in United States of America, and I cannot assent to a heretical theology my Church rejects. My Christian faith does not allow me to ignore human suffering.

I have a duty to speak for the lives being killed at the hands of the Israeli government, while the United States and my tax dollars are paying for it.

President Trump, I thought MAGA stood for defending Americans who speak their convictions without fear of punishment. I thought MAGA was putting America first, not Israel.

Today, I struggle to recognize the movement you started. It appears to have been hijacked by a foreign government and religious zealots attempting to fulfill their heretical end times fantasy.

The MAGA I knew would never allow American troops to die for a foreign government.

America’s sons and daughters are being sent to the Middle East to be sacrificed at the alter of heresy and false prophesy. Are we truly still a sovereign nation, Mr. President? or do foreign interests, and an errant singular interpretation of scripture now dictate who is allowed to have religious liberty here in America? You were supposed to be the President of peace, not the President of war.

George Washington warned against “permanent alliances” with foreign nations, urging the young U.S. to maintain neutrality and avoid becoming involved in wars.

Our founders would never grant one denomination supremacy over all the others. In fact our government prohibits that. This is un-american.

I have been unjustly removed and my religious freedom has been violated, and most Catholics who voted for you feel the exact same way. Why have you betrayed us? You have betrayed your mission to make America great again.

If being a Catholic and refusing to adopt a political and theological framework costs me my position, then religious freedom means nothing. As an American who knows my rights, dissent. I Will never surrender my rights.

Ever.It is unacceptable that a Catholic voice defending Church Tradition would be removed from a Religious Liberty Commission.
For nearly twenty years I have stood by you. I attended both of your inaugurations.

I went to your rallies. I defended you publicly when it was not popular to do so. I stood by you when you were called every name imaginable.

I defended you against the Never Trumpers you surround yourself with today. I wore the red Make America Great Again hat proudly when it was not popular, or even safe, to do so because I believed in what you were fighting for.

Now, I don’t even recognize you.

At the February hearing I was accused of “hijacking” the proceedings with my own political agenda. The truth is that a political and theological agenda hijacked what was supposed to be an American religious liberty hearing.I did exactly what commissioners are supposed to do. I asked questions.

I asked for the definition of antisemitism, which I was shocked to hear the witnesses say that not supporting a political Ideology is considered hatred of Jewish people. This is obviously absurd, and something I pushed back on.

The questions came from Catholic teaching and my deep concern for the dignity of innocent human life in Gaza.

Whether I serve on this Commission or not, my voice will only grow louder for those who are persecuted for their faith.

I believe this appointment was ordained by God, and I will not abandon my Catholic faith to keep a position on a commission which has abandoned its mission. If my religious freedom is not protected, then no one’s is.

We the People, must take our country back. We will never stop fighting for America.

Your religious liberty commission has been hijacked by heretics and cold-blooded ethnonationalists. To say your Presidency is a disappoint to your supporters is an understatement. We believed in you, and you have betrayed us. I am praying for our nation and for you Mr. President.

As Pope Leo XIII warned, “To recoil before an enemy, or to keep silence when from all sides such clamor is raised against truth, is the part of a coward… Christ will certainly not recognize such men as His followers.” Your eternal legacy is dependent on you entering the Kingdom of heaven, and I sure hope that one day, I will see you there.

Christ is King.”
