Chinese companies have been leaping ahead in the race to develop the best, most useful (and most lethal) humanoid robots in the planet, clearly taking the lead in this flourishing industry.

But now, the Chinese droids face a major obstacle in their path, as they lose access to the planet’s largest and most robust market.

Today, it’s been reported that the Donald J. Trump administration has banned imports of humanoid robots made in China.

Officials warn they pose ‘unacceptable risks’ to US national security.

The Telegraph reported:

“US regulators barred imports of advanced Chinese robotics on Tuesday, including bipedal robots and four-legged devices, arguing they could be used to spy on American citizens or controlled remotely.

Officials at the Federal Communications Commission said: ‘Foreign-produced advanced robotics devices present an unacceptable cybersecurity and safety risk. Advanced robotic devices collect data that could be leveraged by malign actors to surveil Americans, enhance the capabilities of foreign intelligence services, or to remotely commandeer the robots’.”

The FCC also banned imports of Chinese power inverters, the ‘link renewable energy systems, batteries, and data centers to the electricity grid’.

“The measures apply only to robot and inverter models that have not yet reached the market, although officials still have the power to ban products already on sale in the US.

Chinese technology companies sold around 12,000 humanoid robots last year, which are being marketed for work in factories or as domestic helpers, representing about 90pc of global sales.”

President Donald Trump used the rescheduled White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in Washington to launch a blistering attack on woke Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. Speaking at the Waldorf Astoria ballroom, Trump mocked a viral clip in which Omar appeared to refer to World War II as “World War 11” and segued into a series of personal insults.

“Ilhan Omar and her brother are thinking about moving together — very much in love,” Trump said, before calling the congresswoman “a low-IQ person” and “very dishonest.” He went on to tell the audience that Omar “oughta get the hell out of our country,” repeating that “she shouldn’t be here” and “she shouldn’t be in our country.”

Trump also hit her with the claim that Omar once married her biological brother and joked that she calls him “husband number one,” while suggesting she was worth “much more than $30 million” before revising a financial disclosure to less than $18,000.

Within hours of the dinner, Omar fired back on X, posting a three-sentence response that called Trump “the idiot who runs our country” and said he lacked “the courage or evidence to come after me.” “This should tell you how low IQ he is,” she continued, adding, “Trump is who needs to get the hell out of our country because he is destroying it and making us the laughing stock of the world.”

Clips of Trump’s remarks and Omar’s post quickly circulated on social media, shared by political reporters and commentators who highlighted the latest escalation in a feud that has simmered since Trump’s earlier “send her back” rally chant and his more recent controversial comments about Somalia.

In November 2021, investigative reporter and Fox News contributor Lara Logan responded to Dr. Tony Fauci’s statement that he was the “science” and that “challenging him is challenging science.”

Lara Logan had other thoughts on Dr. Fauci, comparing him to notorious Nazi Dr. Josef Mengele.

Logan said Dr Anthony Fauci “represents Dr Josef Mengele” – known for his cruel experiments during the Holocaust.

The comments were made on-air during a Fox News Primetime discussion about the Omicron variant.

Logan was born in South Africa and previously worked for CBS News as a chief foreign affairs correspondent and was on “60 Minutes.”

Logan was widely criticized – and fired from FOX News for her public statements on Fauci.

It now appears, without question, that Lara Logan was correct.

This week we found out that Dr. Fauci lied to the American public without hesitation about the COVID virus, its origins, effective treatments, and his historic policies that destroyed tens of thousands of businesses, ruined families, and took millions of lives here at home and abroad.

We know this because Dr. Fauci’s private messages or “diary” entries were released this week that show the wicked man was saying one thing in private and something entirely different to the American public in his numerous interviews during the pandemic.

Saudi Arabia and the U.S. carried out airstrikes against Iraq’s Popular Mobilisation Forces overnight, in response to attacks on Saudi oil facilities the U.S. and Saudi Arabia say originated from Iran-aligned Iraqi militants. AP, citing two Iraqi militia officials who spoke on condition of anonymity, reported that six Iranian advisers were killed in the U.S.-Saudi strike.

A senior Iranian official told Reuters on Wednesday that his country had rejected Oman’s proposal for joint management of the Strait of Hormuz. Reuters also reported that Yemen’s Houthis are considering tolling maritime traffic in the Red Sea.

Senator Rand Paul on Wednesday announced the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee will hold a vote to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt for refusing to answer any questions during the hearing.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former NIAID director and face of America’s disastrous COVID response, finally appeared under subpoena Wednesday morning before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

After enjoying his celebrity status and appearing on all of the networks during the Covid pandemic, all of a sudden Fauci doesn’t want to talk.

Dr. Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment in his opening statement in front of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on his actions that led to the COVID pandemic and his many lies told to the American public.

Fauci destroyed lives and crushed countless businesses during the Covid pandemic.

People died alone because of Fauci’s Covid policies and now he believes he doesn’t have to answer for his actions despite having a BLANKET pardon.

Senator Paul said the Committee will vote on a resolution to hold Dr. Fauci in contempt for pleading the Fifth Amendment more than 80 times despite having blanket immunity.

“Because you refuse to answer citing a privilege that is unsupported because of your pardon and after being denied to do so, this committee has scheduled to vote next week on a resolution certifying your contempt,” Rand Paul told Fauci.

After the hearing, Rand Paul went off on Fauci for unlawful use of the Fifth Amendment.

“This has probably never been tested legally. If you’ve been granted complete immunity…do you still need Fifth Amendment protections, or do they apply? All you had to do today was tell the truth!” Rand Paul told reporters.

“If he testified and told the truth, even if he admitted to destroying thousands of records, which we think happened, there’s no penalty that attaches, it would just be the truth,” Rand Paul said.

In a fiery interview during Wednesday’s Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing, Sen. Tommy Tuberville unloaded on Dr. Anthony Fauci, demanding the former NIAID director be arrested and imprisoned on the spot for his role in the COVID-19 pandemic response.

Sen. Tuberville made the comments during an appearance on Newsmax from Capitol Hill.

“He should be locked up before he leaves this building today and put in prison and then put on trial in front of the American people!” Tuberville declared. “We lost 20,000-30,000 people in Alabama alone, and I hope every damn one of them sues this Dr. Fauci and puts him in court. If we can’t put him in prison, lets put him in court every day for the rest of his life where he has to be punished and listen to the death he caused!”

Tuberville later added, “He killed people!”

Tuberville noted that people are still dying because of Fauci’s actions.

The hearing, chaired by Sen. Rand Paul, is ongoing at the time of publishing and has been extremely contentious.

Paul had released more than 1,100 pages of Fauci’s personal diary notes from late 2019 through 2022 in the days leading up to the hearing.

Those entries covered Fauci’s private thoughts on virus origins, his public profile, interactions with the Trump administration, lockdowns, and other matters.

The private writings deeply contradict Fauci’s public statements.

Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, appeared with multiple attorneys.

In his opening statement, Fauci accused Paul of an “unhinged obsession” and claimed the hearing’s sole purpose was to try to get him to say something that would put him “behind bars.” He then repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment, declining to answer questions on the advice of counsel.

Chaos erupted early when one of Fauci’s attorneys, David Schertler, repeatedly interrupted proceedings and insisted on sitting at the witness table despite instructions to sit behind.

Paul warned him multiple times, “You are not recognized… If you are unruly, you will be removed… Another word and you’re gone.”

When Schertler continued, Paul ordered Capitol Police to eject him from the room.

Paul noted for the record that Fauci still had the advice of his remaining half-dozen lawyers.

Ranking Member Sen. Gary Peters, a Democrat, objected and said he wanted to hear the attorney, but Paul insisted the testimony was from Fauci alone.

Throughout the hearing, Fauci declined to answer questions on gain-of-function research, Wuhan lab funding and oversight, the Proximal Origin paper, lockdowns, school closures, vaccines, and other topics.

Republicans noted the Biden autopen pardon does not shield against lying to Congress or certain state-level actions.

Fauci REFUSED to testify pleading the 5th Amendment out of the gate.

The hearing, titled “Testimony of Anthony Fauci,” began at 8:30 a.m. ET on July 29 in Room SD-342 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building, according to the official committee notice.

Committee Chairman Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) had to force him there. After months of negotiations, Fauci agreed to testify, then backed out. Paul issued the subpoena. “He will testify in July,” Paul announced. Accountability is coming.

But Fauci refused to testify.

The monster is guilty as sin.

During the hearing after Senator Paul was finished with his questioning, Fauci’s unruly attorney decided to take over the hearing.  Senator Paul told him he was unrecognized and must remain silent.

The attorney would not listen and Paul had him removed from the room!

The entire hearing room started applauding!  

Senator Rand Paul: You’re not recognized! You’re not recognized! If you are unruly, you will be removed from the proceeding. You are not recognized. And you are not recognized, sir. Sir, you are not recognized. You are not recognized. Security. We’ll hold off, but you will respect these proceedings.

…He is not recognized by the committee or the chair. If he speaks again, he will be removed from the room. This testimony is from Anthony Fauci. This is not a game with his lawyers. He can advise, his lawyers can give him advice. He’s got a half dozen here. They are all allowed to talk to him. Yes. All right. But the attorneys are not recognized. In fact, the attorney was told not to sit at the table and he’s not obeying that recommendation.

There’s a row behind you, sir. That’s where you were told to sit and you’re not. And now you’re disrupting the proceedings. Michigan U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed was caught on a leaked donor Zoom call openly discussing putting a fellow Democrat’s head on a pike to terrorize the rest of the party into submission.

El-Sayed, the far-left progressive challenging Rep. Haley Stevens in the August 4 Michigan Democrat primary, told donors exactly how he plans to remake the party if he wins: by making an example of anyone who dares stray from the progressive orthodoxy.

“Ideally, you put one ogre on a pike, and then everyone else gets the message, and all of a sudden starts to sound a lot different,” El-Sayed declared, according to audio obtained by Politico.

When the comments exploded and even some Democrats called them “violent” and “vulgar,” El-Sayed doubled down.

After being exposed, El-Sayed’s campaign later insisted he was speaking metaphorically about defeating Fetterman in a Democrat primary, not advocating physical violence.

But during Monday night’s final Democratic Senate primary debate, El-Sayed refused to apologize for the inflammatory remark.

Moderator Roop Raj pressed El-Sayed over the statement, noting that many people had taken offense and asking whether he regretted his comments.

El-Sayed responded by revealing that the “ogre” he wanted metaphorically placed “on a pike” was Fetterman.

“I was referring to a guy named John Fetterman,” El-Sayed insisted. He claimed the Pennsylvania Democrat was elected as a liberal candidate before “completely throwing those values in the mud.”

John Fetterman (D-PA) has become public enemy number one among the progressive left for refusing to abandon Israel, for criticizing the pro-Hamas wing of his own party, and for occasionally sounding like a normal American instead of a campus radical. Fetterman has repeatedly clashed with El-Sayed and the DSA-aligned crowd over their hostility toward the Jewish state.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune just admitted the ugly truth that America First voters already knew: a large bloc of Republican senators is standing in the way of President Trump’s top priority, the SAVE America Act.

During an appearance on Fox News with Sean Hannity, Thune revealed that President Trump’s team personally met with approximately 20 Republican senators to discuss eliminating the filibuster.

The overwhelming majority reportedly refused.

“I’ve had this conversation with the president many times, I think as you know. And I actually suggested at one point that his team come up and sit down and visit with some of my colleagues. So, they came down — came up, met with about 20 Republican senators and 15 were a no on getting rid of the filibuster,” Thune said during interview with Sean Hannity.

He then insisted that the votes were not there despite President Trump’s ongoing pressure campaign.

“The votes aren’t there to do it. I know [Trump] thinks he can persuade people. But there are a lot of folks who are very — this is a — this is a hard position for a lot of Senate Republicans.”

Fifteen Republican senators are flatly refusing to nuke the filibuster so the Senate can finally pass the SAVE America Act with a simple majority. The bill requires proof of citizenship to register to vote, photo ID to cast a ballot, and major restrictions on mail-in voting. The House has already passed versions of it multiple times. Democrats are unified in opposition because they want the chaos and fraud. And now we know a critical mass of Senate Republicans is joining them in the blockade.

This is not complicated math. Republicans hold the majority. The only real obstacle left is the filibuster and the RINOs protecting it.

As The Gateway Pundit has repeatedly documented, Thune has spent months making excuses. He has claimed the votes “aren’t there,” refused to even try a talking filibuster in any serious way, rejected attaching the bill to must-pass legislation, and publicly told the White House to “get on the phone and get the votes” after Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the president’s patience was running out.

Now the numbers are out in the open. Twenty senators were polled. Fifteen said no to ending the 60-vote threshold that has turned the Senate into a graveyard for election integrity.

President Trump has made the SAVE America Act a non-negotiable priority for a reason. Secure elections are the foundation of everything else.

Without it, the midterms become a free-for-all of non-citizen voting, ballot harvesting, and the same fraud tactics Democrats perfected in 2020 and 2022.

Trump has demanded the Senate stay in session, terminate the filibuster if necessary, and deliver the bill. Thune’s response continues to be institutional surrender dressed up as realism.

The American people demanded election integrity. The House delivered. The president is fighting for it. A critical mass of Senate Republicans is choosing the filibuster and the swamp over the country.

Liberal lawmakers in true-blue Massachusetts are creating a new commission which is essentially a DEI hiring program that will benefit Muslims looking for state jobs.

When did it even become the job of lawmakers to do anything like this? And why do it specifically for Muslims? It doesn’t even sound legal.

It’s just another reminder of what comes with one-party rule.

DEI hiring boost for one blue state’s Muslim commission initiative flies in face of Trump’s anti-woke push

Massachusetts lawmakers are taking steps toward prioritizing the hiring of American Muslims for state government positions under a permanent so-called Muslim commission.

The group would help recommend Americans who practice Islam to appointed government positions in the New England state at the same time the Trump administration is moving to dismantle such diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs nationwide — teeing-up a standoff between local leaders and the president.

A proposed bill would create a panel of 11 Muslims appointed by Democratic Gov. Maura Healey and other state officials to represent the Islamic faith on issues such as business, economy, healthcare and other concerns.

The Muslim commission would influence government recruiting and, “Identify and recommend qualified American Muslims for appointive positions at all levels of government, including boards and commissions, as the commission considers necessary and appropriate,” according to language in the bill.

“Massachusetts has always prided itself on being a leader in equality and civil rights, a legacy this bill builds upon,” said Democratic state Sen. Jamie Eldridge, the bill’s primary sponsor.

The fact is, there is no reason to prioritize Muslims for state offices. They can seek such positions on their own, and under the founding principle of equal treatment under the law, they can be evaluated for such positions by the same objective criteria as anyone, regardless of race, religion, or anything other than their experience and their ability to do the job.

You know, like we would hope a private-sector employer would do. Key difference: If a private-sector employer makes a bad hiring decision based on stupid criteria, the only thing they will hurt is their own company. But hiring for government positions? Not only no, but heck no.

The problem in Massachusetts and other liberal enclaves is that leftists are always trying to ‘out-woke’ each other.

They never think they have gone far enough.
