The Supreme Court on Monday allowed President Trump to proceed with White House Ballroom construction in a 5-4 vote.
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts dissented.
After a fierce legal battle with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Trump DOJ asked the US Supreme Court earlier this month to intervene.
DOJ Solicitor General John Sauer argued that the White House Ballroom acts as a military asset because it has a subterranean bunker and rooftop drone port.
Last week, Chief Justice Roberts allowed construction work on Trump’s White House Ballroom to continue… temporarily.
Roberts issued a stay that stayed in place until the Supreme Court considered whether to pause a lower court’s injunction.
On Monday, the high court sided with President Trump, but Justice Roberts said the ballroom construction is “likely unlawful.”
“The government has also established that it will likely suffer irreparable harm from the district court’s injunction and that the balance of the equities tips in its favor,” the Supreme Court’s order read.
Last summer, the Trump Administration announced a White House Ballroom construction project.
“For 150 years, Presidents, Administrations, and White House Staff have longed for a large event space on the White House complex that can hold substantially more guests than currently allowed. President Donald J. Trump has expressed his commitment to solving this problem on behalf of future Administrations and the American people,” the Trump White House said.
“The White House is one of the most beautiful and historic buildings in the world, yet the White House is currently unable to host major functions honoring world leaders and other countries without having to install a large and unsightly tent approximately 100 yards away from the main building entrance. The White House State Ballroom will be a much-needed and exquisite addition of approximately 90,000 total square feet of ornately designed and carefully crafted space, with a seated capacity of 650 people — a significant increase from the 200-person seated capacity in the East Room of the White House,” they said.
A federal judge earlier this year blocked the construction of the White House Ballroom after the National Trust for Historic Preservation filed a lawsuit against the Trump Administration.
The DC Circuit Court of Appeals said Congress has authority over federal property modifications.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy on Monday announced an emergency shutdown of 110 CDL schools that gave driver’s licenses to drivers who failed English proficiency tests.
“The US Department of Transportation is issuing an emergency shutdown of 110 CDL schools and removing an additional 160+ training providers for failing to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration,” Duffy said.

Duffy’s announcement comes after President Trump unveiled his “Freedom Haulers” initiative to license veteran truck drivers and crack down on illegal alien truck drivers.

Earlier this month, a federal judge temporarily blocked the Department of Homeland Security from obtaining 17 million Commercial Driver’s License records.
US District Judge Anthony Trenga, a George W. Bush appointee, entered an administrative stay and prevented the Trump Administration from obtaining the records it subpoenaed.
Judge Trenga also ordered the DHS to immediately return any subpoenaed documents and not inspect the records.
The judge said he needs more time to consider the motion to quash the subpoenas.
21 Democrat state attorneys general and DC previously filed lawsuits challenging the records request.
The blue state attorneys general sued the Department of Transportation (DOT), the DHS and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
DOJ Investigation Regarding Its Actions Targeting Catholics Ends in No Indictments

In April 2025, TGP reported on how then FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino was under fire after retweeting a video of FBI official Stanley Meador, a man employed by the bureau despite being at the center of a scandal involving the profiling of traditionalist Catholics as potential domestic extremists and potential white supremacist recruits.
Stanley Meador is the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the FBI’s Richmond Field Office, who oversaw the creation of a controversial internal FBI memorandum that labeled certain “radical-traditionalist Catholics” as potential domestic terrorism threats.
On Saturday, August 29, 2026, TGP reported on how the DOJ conducted an investigation into efforts to target and create a false narrative about Catholics, and in particular those who attend Latin masses. The FBI shared in its investigation of itself that

This is simply outrageous. Here’s why:
1. The FBI targeted innocent Catholics and, in particular, some who attended Catholic masses.
2. An individual was part of the investigation, whom the FBI claimed was a radical white supremacist. The report omits the fact that, like on Jan 6, and in numerous other instances, the target was likely placed there by the corrupt DOJ and FBI.
3. Catholics were targeted for going to mass, which is a huge violation of their First Amendment rights.
4. The corrupt DOJ was likely working with the SPLC and media personalities like those on The View to create their made-up lies about Catholics. This apparently was not in their final report.
5. The DOJ investigated itself and again claims no crimes.
6. One individual involved was still working in the DOJ in 2025.
7. Although the corrupt DOJ claims those involved were terminated from their positions, they could be in other positions now, and they have not been indicted for using their positions to target a religion in the US.
8. We don’t have the names of those who targeted Catholics, and we should. We would then know if they are still working for the government.
9. Those appointed to the Weaponization Working Group (like Ed Martin) have left the DOJ. No one knows who is part of that group now. The group continues to cover up for the Deep State.
10. This is a frightening nightmare for all Americans who want justice. It must be addressed.

Over the weekend, Jubilee posted a debate between Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) and 20 older conservative guests on a variety of topics, including Gen Z’s work ethic, canceling student debt, and the state of the American Dream.
While Frost somewhat held his own on some topics, things went south for him in a hurry when the American Dream topic came up.
Frost argued that he could not have lived the American dream because he was driving an Uber to make ends meet before getting elected. But a conservative guest quickly fired back, correctly pointing out that it sounded exactly like the American dream because Frost had escaped a tough economic situation through hard work.
The ungrateful Frost then decided to lecture the conservative, claiming that the American dream was about upward mobility rather than about driving an Uber. One can immediately see the problem with this analogy because Frost had indeed experienced tremendous upward mobility.

As the 2026 Midterms approach, money is beginning to pour in for both Republicans and Democrats.
A new report by the New York Times revealed who the biggest mega-donors are heading into the 2026 Midterms.
Topping the list at $115.3 million were venture capitalists Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz, who donated to several Republican PACs, including MAGA INC.
Coming in at second was George and Alex Soros, who donated $103.7 million to Democrat aligned PACs.
In third and fourth on the list were hedge fund investor Jeff Yass and the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, who both donated to Republican PACs.
The 20 biggest donors in the 2026 midterm elections poured $1.2 billion into House and Senate races in the 2026 election cycle so far.
The tech industry, sports betting groups, billionaires and special interest groups poured tons of cash into the races ahead of November, according to The New York Times. The donors included Elon Musk, George and Alex Soros and Coinbase, a cryptocurrency exchange.
Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz, the founders of the Silicon Valley firm Andreessen Horowitz, donated $115.3 million, including $50 million to Leading the Future, a major super PAC supporting artificial intelligence (AI), according to the Times. They also donated $46.8 million to crypto super PAC Fairshake and $12 million to MAGA Inc., a super PAC supporting President Donald Trump.
George and Alex Soros, a father-and-son pair, gave $103.7 million to super PACs supporting Democrats, according to the Times. The Soros pair donated $102 million to Democracy PAC, which transfers money to other Democratic super PACs, $500,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and $300,000 to Fair Fight, a voting rights-focused super PAC.

According to a chart published by Personal Finance Wizards, 45.6% of Afghan immigrant households in the United States receive SNAP benefits. The chart, which shows the percentage of U.S. households receiving SNAP benefits by ethnicity, uses data from U.S. Census Table S0201.
Other groups with high participation rates include Somali households at 42.4%, Iraqi households at 34.8%, Dominican households at 34.4%, and Caribbean households at 28.2%.
Democrats are fond of claiming that illegal immigrants are not eligible for welfare and that illegal immigration, and immigration in general, represents a net gain for U.S. taxpayers. The term “welfare” is used specifically to narrow the scope.
The reality, however, is that legal and illegal immigrants receive hundreds of billions of dollars in federal and state assistance each year through a variety of programs, including Medicaid, food assistance programs, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), housing assistance, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), SNAP, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), school meal programs, the Earned Income Tax Credit, the Additional Child Tax Credit, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Medicare, and Affordable Care Act premium tax credits.
Furthermore, when it comes specifically to welfare, Democrats ignore the fact that families headed by illegal immigrant parents can receive benefits if they have U.S.-citizen children. Because the parents often work off the books, they can claim to have no income, making their children eligible for welfare benefits.
A separate analysis of 2024 Survey of Income and Program Participation data, published in February 2026 by the Center for Immigration Studies, found that 52.7% of immigrant-headed households used one or more major welfare programs, compared with 37.3% of U.S.-born-headed households. The largest gaps were in Medicaid use, at 39% versus 27%, and food assistance, at 35% versus 22%.
Among households headed specifically by illegal immigrants, the report found an overall welfare participation rate of 60.7%. One data point often cited to support the false claim that immigrants use benefits at a lower rate than native-born citizens is that SSI and housing assistance use among this group is lower than among U.S.-born households. However, the lower rate of SSI use is only because illegal aliens are largely barred from receiving SSI, although some still receive it through various means. As for housing benefits, U.S.-citizen children of immigrants, including illegal immigrants, qualify for housing assistance, so their parents do not need to apply for it themselves.
A follow-up Center for Immigration Studies report published in June 2026, using pooled 2021-2025 Current Population Survey data, narrowed the focus to non-citizen-headed households, roughly half of them illegal aliens. It found 47% of non-citizen households used one or more traditional welfare programs (TANF, SSI, SNAP, WIC, school meals, Medicaid, or housing assistance), compared with 28% for U.S.-born households, rising to 57% versus 34% once eligibility for the Earned Income Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit was included.
State-level gaps were widest in Maryland, Arizona, New York, and North Carolina, and non-citizen households in every one of the highest-immigration states, including New York, California, Texas, and Florida, used traditional welfare or qualified for the tax credits at rates 20 or more percentage points above U.S.-born households in the same state.
The elevated SNAP rates for Afghan, Iraqi, and Somali households line up with federal eligibility rules that predate 2025. The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act, codified at 8 U.S.C. § 1641, defines “qualified immigrants” eligible for federal benefits as lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, Cuban and Haitian entrants, individuals granted withholding of removal, certain survivors of trafficking or domestic violence, and certain parolees present for at least one year. This is confirmed by a National Immigration Forum fact sheet and a National Immigration Law Center guide.
Refugees, asylees, Cuban and Haitian entrants, trafficking survivors, and Iraqi and Afghan nationals holding Special Immigrant Visas were exempt from the five-year waiting period that otherwise applies to lawful permanent residents seeking SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, and other federal benefits. For SSI specifically, that same “humanitarian” eligibility runs out after seven years from the date a person obtains the qualifying status, a limit Congress imposed in 1996 on the assumption recipients would naturalize before then. Illegal immigrants have never been eligible for SNAP, non-emergency Medicaid, TANF, CHIP, or SSI under federal law.
A July 2025 federal reconciliation act tightened these rules further. Effective November 1, 2025, SNAP eligibility narrowed to lawful permanent residents, Cuban and Haitian entrants, and people residing under a Compact of Free Association, removing refugees, asylees, and Special Immigrant Visa holders from the program going forward. Corresponding restrictions on Medicaid, CHIP, Medicare, and Affordable Care Act premium tax credits take effect on a staggered schedule through 2027. The Ellis Island Argument
The Ellis Island comparison does not excuse illegal immigration, nor does it justify the percentage of legal and illegal immigrants who receive public benefits.
Critics of immigration enforcement often point out that 33% to 40% of Americans have at least one ancestor among the 12 million immigrants who passed through Ellis Island between 1892 and 1954, largely during the Great Wave of immigration from 1880 to 1924. Americans with Italian family names, in particular, are called racists and hypocrites for opposing illegal immigration and the abuse of public benefits by immigrants.
However, critics are ignoring historical facts. During the Great Wave, entry depended on proving an immigrant would not need public support. Immigrants processed at Ellis Island were required to show they carried enough money to avoid being classified as likely to become a public charge. The required amount was typically $18 to $25. For a typical steerage-class immigrant, saving that sum, on top of the $25 to $30 cost of passage, took months or even years.
A major difference between today’s illegal immigration and legal immigration through Ellis Island was that steamship companies had a financial incentive to screen passengers before departure. Under the Immigration Act of 1891, carriers were legally required to return rejected immigrants to their home countries at their own expense, and could be fined $100 for every passenger denied entry for a preventable reason, such as a contagious disease. Agents for the major steamship lines were held personally accountable by their companies for the passengers they booked and risked losing their agencies if they transported someone who fell into an excluded category.
The system worked by weeding out those immigrants who would become a burden on the nation, unlike during the years of the Great Invasion caused by Joe Biden’s open-border policy. Steamship companies at the German port of Bremen refused to sell tickets to an estimated 8,000 prospective immigrants in 1905 alone, according to the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
Historians generally credit this pre-screening with keeping Ellis Island’s ultimate exclusion rate to only about 2% of arrivals, since most people likely to be turned away were stopped before they ever boarded.
Illegal immigration has no such vetting system, and immigrants entering the country, legally or illegally, who then go on to receive public benefits do not benefit the country.

Piker also suggested recently that American Jews deserve the backlash they get if they are also Zionists — in other words, if they believe that the Jewish people should have a homeland in Israel.
Jewish Insider reported that Piker said during one of his streams, “If Jews in America keep putting this idea out there that they are singularly invested in Israel, eventually someone’s going to come around and take action, not against the State of Israel, mind you, but against American Jews.”
“I don’t know how people don’t recognize how dangerous this predicament is, how dangerous this is for Jews,” he added. “You’re running around basically tying your entire identity to a country that inevitably will be seen as Jewish ISIS, and you’re saying, as Jews, this is all we care about. You’re making antisemitism worse.”
Similar to Hoyt, HBO host Bill Maher took about 30 seconds to prove that people like Piker who want to liberate the Palestinians really are calling for the destruction of Israel, not a two-state solution.
The topic came up on Maher’s “Club Random” podcast in the spring with Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania as his guest. A clip from the episode about Gaza went viral after being reposted earlier this month.
“By the way, [Gaza], geniuses educated on TikTok, was liberated in 2005 by Israel. Israel gave it back and said, ‘Here, you have your land again. You do something with it.’ And this is what they did with it: They made it into a fortress, didn’t spend it on the people,” Maher said.

Fetterman agreed. He noted that Bill Clinton, while he was president, helped negotiate a deal that would have given the Palestinians nearly all of the West Bank and East Jerusalem as their capital, but Palestinian President Yasser Arafat turned it down.

This comes just years after the mandatory government experimental COVID shots. NIH-funded Stanford scientists finally admitted in December 2015 that the experimental vaccines can cause myocarditis. This was especially prevalent in young men who took the COVID shots.
Although, there have no reports linking this latest incident to the COVID shots, we would be remiss if we did not report on the COVID shots likely injured thousands including healthy young men.
