Dearborn, Michigan police are in full panic mode.

Police Chief Issa Shahin released a desperate video message urging residents to stay away from Tuesday’s Aug. 18 city council meeting because “anti-Islam protesters,” including activists planning a “Christian Crusader March” to “Stop Islamification,” are expected to show up and exercise their First Amendment rights.

“Please stay home,” Shahin said.

Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin says individuals and organizations from outside the community may travel to the city for an anti-Islam demonstration. Police will deploy an “enhanced presence” and have prepared what the department describes as a comprehensive security plan.

Shahin claims the expected demonstrators are coming to provoke residents, manufacture a confrontation and generate publicity.

Shahin: “Individuals and groups from outside our community may come to the Dearborn City Council meeting on Tuesday, August 18th. We’ve been monitoring the situation closely and coordinating with our state and federal partners. We have a plan in place, and you will see an enhanced presence of police officers.

But here’s my direct ask of our residents: Please stay home.

These groups that are coming here are coming for one reason, and that’s to provoke a reaction and generate attention. If nobody shows up to react, they have nothing. The most powerful thing that this community can do is refuse to give them an audience.”

Dearborn has become ground zero for the demographic and cultural transformation of America. The city is now majority Arab and heavily Muslim. Outdoor Islamic calls to prayer blast through neighborhoods.

Mayor Abdullah Hammoud previously told a Christian resident he was “not welcome” in the city.

Pro-Hezbollah and Iranian-linked imagery has appeared at local processions. And just weeks ago, activist Jake Lang was attacked during the city’s massive Arbaeen procession, an event that featured flags of U.S.-designated terrorist groups according to monitoring organizations.

Five Current and Former Texas City Officials – Including the Mayor – Arrested For Fraud

Five current and former Refugio, Texas, city officials were arrested on Wednesday for fraud after they allegedly mishandled hundreds of thousands of dollars that spanned 19 transactions.

Refugio Mayor Wanda Dukes was charged with misapplication of fiduciary property, a first-degree felony, for misusing funds from the Refugio Economic Development Corporation between October 2023 and October 2025.

City Secretary Callie Shreckengost was also charged with misapplication of fiduciary property.

Current City Council Ixtlazihuatl Vasquez, former City Council Frank Hosey, and former City Council Michael Rocha were all hit with third-degree felony charges of abuse of official capacity.

According to the indictment, the state claimed that more than $1 million was misapplied to payments, audit services, garbage collection, and festivals.

Five current and former Refugio town officials face felony charges after a Refugio County grand jury returned indictments this week following a Texas Rangers investigation.

Mayor Wanda Huff Dukes and Town Secretary Callie Gray Shreckengost turned themselves in at the Refugio County Jail on Wednesday and were later released. Both are charged with misapplication of fiduciary property, a first-degree felony. Bond for each was set at $25,000.

The indictments accuse both officials of misusing funds from the Refugio Economic Development Corporation between Oct. 3, 2023, and Oct. 29, 2025. According to the charging documents, Dukes exercised control over EDC funds as mayor, while Shreckengost had authority to authorize and sign disbursements as town secretary.

The indictments list 19 transactions totaling more than $1 million that the state says were misapplied, including payments for windstorm insurance, garbage collection, water main maintenance, audit services, a police department holiday event and Fourth of July festivals.

Radical Kansas Dem Gubernatorial Nominee Sparks Fury After Her Very Sacrilegious Post About Jesus Christ Resurfaces

The Kansas Democratic Gubernatorial nominee is under fire after a disgusting and extremely sacrilegious post she made about Jesus Christ resurfaced this week.

As The Washington Examiner reported on Wednesday, State Senator Cindy Holscher had an exchange she had with a right-leaning user on X. In it, she criticized Senate Bill 149, legislation introduced that year that sought to restrict drag performances accessible to minors.

The argument occurred back on March 7, 2023.

At one point during the exchange, Holscher outlandishly suggested that Jesus Christ, who Christians regard as the Son of God, could have been either gay or transgender.

“I have no idea if Jesus was trans, gay, straight, etc.” Holscher wrote.

“But you seem to imply that a sacred figure is ‘less than’ if they aren’t straight. That’s too bad,” Holscher added.

She then demanded that the user provide “proof that schools are grooming children,” she added.

Suggesting that Jesus Christ could have been transgender is not only a true slap in the face and mockery of the Christian faith, It’s also the dumbest possible statement because 70% of the Kansas adults identify with the Christian faith.

A candidate obviously cannot win a conservative state like Kansas if they mock Christianity.

Social media users responded with disgust after learning what Holscher said.

Holscher’s Republican opponent, Ty Masterson, also issued a scathing response to her remark about Christ in a social media post.

“If anyone needs proof that Cindy Holscher is a radical, here it is,” Masterson wrote on X. “She mocked Jesus Christ to defend drag shows for kids, and she’s so out of touch, that she doesn’t understand why most Kansans find that offensive.”

“That’s not your parents’ Democrat, that’s the most radical liberal nominee in Kansas history,” he added. “This November, the choice could not be clearer for Kansans.”

UK Emergency Services Working on Site of Train Derailment in Essex – Major Incident Declared – 11 People Injured

At least two passengers were seriously injured.

UK police and emergency services have converged on the scene of a passenger train derailment in Essex, southern England.

A major incident has been declared.

CNN reported:

“The incident happened around 3:54 p.m. (10:54 a.m. ET) near Lewes railway station in East Sussex, around 45 miles south of London, according to British Transport Police.

Images posted to social media appear to show several train carriages on their sides, with people standing on top of them.

[…] ‘At this stage, we can confirm that two patients have sustained serious injuries and a further nine patients have sustained less serious injuries’, the [South East Coast] ambulance service said in an update. ‘Patients have been assessed and treated at the scene, with some transported to local hospitals for further treatment and care’.”

BBC reported:

“Photos from the site show emergency workers around the train on its side in a field next to the tracks, with one passenger saying the incident ‘felt like a car crash’ and another saying the train derailed from carriage five.

[…] Operator Southern Railway has told passengers ‘do not travel’ in the affected area for the rest of the day, with the Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) saying it has deployed a team of inspectors to the site to begin gathering evidence.”

Another day, another leak about President Trump’s plane swap in Turkey.

President Trump took a secret flight from Turkey to the UK on an alternate military aircraft on July 8 after he was quietly moved from Air Force One due to an Iranian threat.

According to a leak to The Washington Post, Air Force One was used as a ‘decoy’ while President Trump flew on a smaller C-2A plane. Pool reporters thought they were flying with President Trump from Turkey to the UK.

However, President Trump was quietly moved from Air Force One to the smaller plane by jumping into an airport catering truck.

The latest leak to CBS News reveals more information about the intelligence gathering and the precise time the decision was made to switch President Trump to another plane.

CBS News, citing anonymous US officials who were “not authorized to discuss sensitive matters,” Turkey’s MIT intel picked up information about the Iranian plot to fire a missile at Air Force One.

The anonymous sources also told CBS News that the decision to swap Trump’s plane was made during the NATO summit.

It was previously reported by The Wall Street Journal that Israeli intel also warned the CIA about an Iranian threat.

Last month’s elaborate ruse that saw President Trump secretly move from Air Force One to another plane by way of a catering truck took place within a day of U.S. and Turkish intelligence picking up on an Iranian plot to fire a missile at the presidential jet, CBS News has learned.

The decision to shift Mr. Trump to a different plane was made while the annual NATO conference was underway in Ankara, according to two law enforcement officials and a U.S. official. The president had flown into the Turkish capital on a newly retrofitted Boeing 747 donated by the government of Qatar, but an older white-and-blue jet that has served as Air Force One since the 1990s was also on the ground as a support aircraft.

Ahead of Mr. Trump’s July 8 departure from the summit, the National Security Agency, the CIA and Turkey’s MIT intelligence service picked up streams of information about a credible plot by Iran to fire a surface-to-air missile at Air Force One, according to two U.S. officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss sensitive matters.

There were also reports of a team in Turkey tasked with firing the surface-to-air missile at the plane, the U.S. officials said. But after more probes, no team was detected.

President Trump on Tuesday evening confirmed he secretly switched planes last month as he departed Ankara, Turkey.

A reporter asked President Trump about a leak to the Washington Post that revealed he secretly switched planes as he departed Turkey for the UK and used Air Force One as a ‘decoy.’

“It’s only up to the Secret Service. I just follow what they’d like to do. So, I go by the Secret Service and the military. They wanted me to go on a different flight, a different plane,” Trump told reporters.

“I guess there was a threat out there. I didn’t really ask too much about it,” Trump said.

“I think actually the plane that I flew on was at greater risk. I think it was at greater risk because that would be the plane I think that they would be more likely to go for,” Trump said.

BASED Elderly Woman in Tucson Pulls Gun and Chases Shoplifter Out of Ross – Police Warn Bystanders Risk ASSAULT Charges for Stopping Crime

An absolutely “BASED elderly woman” in Tucson, Arizona, has gone viral after she allegedly pulled a handgun and chased a brazen shoplifter out of a Ross store as the alarm blared and the thief fled with multiple bags of stolen merchandise.

Video circulating on social media shows the suspected thief casually walking away from the Eastside Tucson Ross with bags in hand while the store alarm screams.

A bystander, identified across social media as an elderly woman and widely celebrated as a “badass grandma,” confronts the man and draws a handgun in an attempt to stop him from getting away.

Tucson Police confirmed they are investigating the incident as a shoplifting case and are using the viral video as evidence, according to KOLD NEWS 13.

Officers could not locate the suspect when they arrived. No arrests have been made. The department is still looking for the thief and asking the public for information.

And here’s the part that has Americans seeing red: authorities and legal experts are warning bystanders not to intervene, and that drawing a gun on a shoplifter could get you charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

While the bystander’s actions may have been an attempt to stop a crime, legal experts warn that taking the law into your own hands can carry severe criminal consequences.

“It really depends on the details, but there is a statute that authorizes people to display or use a firearm to prevent certain crimes,” said Tucson criminal defense attorney Louis Fidel. “Shoplifting is not one of those crimes.”

Fidel warned that pointing a weapon in this scenario risks charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Introducing a firearm into a property crime is incredibly dangerous, putting the public, the bystander, and the suspect at risk of death over retail merchandise.

The incident also highlights the strict training guidelines major retail chains have in place for their employees.

“Large corporations and most of the small ones have told their employees, do not engage,” said Michelle Ahlmer, Executive Director of the Arizona Retailers Association. “Their lives and their safety is more important to us than the product.”

Ahlmer noted that violence against loss prevention staff is on the rise across the industry. When untrained customers attempt to intervene, she says, it often escalates an already volatile situation.

“I think they’re just frustrated,” Ahlmer said regarding bystanders who step in. “They see that prices are high, and every time somebody steals something, the result is prices go up.”

Radical far-left Michigan Democrat Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed is being roasted online over a campaign video in which he spoofs the children’s show Blue’s Clues by dancing, singing, and pleading for votes.

In the roughly one-minute clip, originally posted in June but viral in August, El-Sayed leans hard into 1990s nostalgia while sitting in the Thinking Chair, asking voters to support his bid.

El-Sayed sings and dances as the mailbox brings him his ballot.

“Vote time, vote time, vote time, vote time, VOTEEE TIIIMMMEEE!!!!!” he captioned the original post with the video. “(This one’s for us, 90s kids!)”

The resurfacing comes amid growing scrutiny of El-Sayed’s far-left record and associations, though it was originally called out by Laura Loomer’s Loomer Unleashed, back in June.

El-Sayed is a Bernie Sanders-endorsed progressive who has positioned himself as an outsider against corporate Democrats.

He has drawn heavy criticism for his close ties to extremely far-left Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, who once said, “America deserved 9/11.”

El-Sayed has declined to disavow Piker, stating it is “critical” that Democrats embrace such voices and that he is “not here to disavow people’s views.”

The cringe-inducing Blue’s Clues video wasn’t El-Sayed’s only video singing and dancing.

El-Sayid also filmed himself singing Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” with the caption “I wanna vote for somebody.”

El-Sayid is facing off against Republican Mike Rogers in what is expected to be an extremely tight race.

Trump Housing Director Bill Pulte Launches Probe into Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac’s SHARIA LAW Home Financing

President Trump’s federal housing director Bill Pulte says officials are examining claims that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac participate in home-financing arrangements marketed as compliant with Islamic law.

Pulte, who serves as both FHFA Director and chairman of the boards of the two government-sponsored mortgage giants, responded directly on X after White House correspondent Natalie Winters highlighted the issue.

Winters posted evidence that Fannie Mae maintains a specific loan code for “Musharaka Islamic Finance Mortgages” and that Freddie Mac explicitly recognizes financing “designed to comply with Islamic law.”

Pulte replied: “We are looking into this right now. Thanks for mentioning!”

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which together back nearly half of all U.S. residential mortgages and remain under federal conservatorship, have for years provided critical secondary-market liquidity to Sharia-compliant products. These are structured primarily as diminishing Musharaka (co-ownership) arrangements rather than traditional interest-bearing loans, because Islamic law forbids riba (interest).

Providers such as Guidance Residential have financed more than $10 billion for tens of thousands of families using these structures, with the GSEs stepping in as co-owners or investors to keep the pipeline flowing. The practice dates back to the early 2000s, when Fannie and Freddie first began purchasing Islamic mortgage products.

Guidance Residential, a private Islamic home-financing company, publicly states that it brings Freddie Mac, and, according to another passage on its website, Fannie Mae, into its transactions as investors.

The company describes its product as “Islamic co-ownership financing.” Instead of issuing a conventional interest-bearing mortgage, Guidance says it purchases a home alongside the buyer. The buyer then gradually acquires the company’s ownership share while paying for the use of the remaining share.

Guidance says the arrangement was constructed to satisfy Sharia principles prohibiting riba, or interest. It also claims that its Sharia board and 18 law firms developed a contract under which Freddie Mac can participate without purchasing conventional debt.

“Guidance simply brings on Freddie Mac as an additional investor,” the company states.

As RealClearInvestigations reported in May 2026, federal data show Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have become the primary investors in these Islamic mortgages, injecting billions of dollars in liquidity.

The Center for Security Policy and other national-security analysts have warned for years that Sharia-compliant finance can serve as a vehicle for broader ideological penetration and potential material support networks. Yet under previous administrations, the practice continued largely without scrutiny at the highest levels of FHFA.
